author note- plot- what if when pirates invade camp half-blood for one thing? but they end up taking a couple of hostages?

other things- thank you all for everything we hit 1,014 reads today, ya'll have no idea how much that means to me,  (also just to clarify, this happened before nico's birthday chapter)(spoilers for trials of apollo and percy jackson sea of monsters) I hope you guys enjoy this chapter!

1st person pov (Percy's pov)

     It was Monday morning of winter break. I didn't have school of course because it's winter break. I asked my mom if I could take Estelle to go sledding, my mom said yes so I was in the middle of getting Estelle in her snow gear.

     "is annabeth coming with us?" my four-year-old sister asked. 

     "nope, she's busy." I told her.

     "that's bogus." Estelle said crossing her arms.

     "I know right," I replied mimicking her my crossing my arms as well and smiling.

     estelle pushed me over, "don't mimic me." she giggled.

     estelle then jumped on top of me and started tickling my neck, "alright! alright!" I said trying not to giggle.

     "laugh!" Estelle ordered giggling.

     I stood up and picked Estelle up, I spinned Estelle around, "I don't think so." I told her, I held her in my arms and was tickling her. 

     Estelle was laughing and trying to push me away from her, "stop it! stop it!" she giggled.

     I stopped tickling her like she said.

     "don't stop! don't stop!" she yelled.

     I started tickling her again and she was laughing, my mom then came through the door.

     "percy?" my mom asked, "I thought you were going sledding?"

     "Mommy!" Estelle exclaimed, I handed Estelle to our mom.

     "hi sweetie!" my mom replied hugging Estelle. 

     "you should come sledding with us since annabeth cant!" Estelle suggested.

     Estelle was handed back to me, "yeah mom, why not."

     my mom looked at her watch, "I guess I could go for a little."

     "yay!!" Estelle exclaimed putting her hands up in the air.

     "let me go get ready." my mom said, she then walked into the other room.

time change...

1st person pov (nico's pov)

     will, ben, Kayla, Austin, Lilly, and I, were the only year-round campers this year,  we got dionysus to let the snow come in camp half-blood, so we decided to go to half-blood hill and sled down it, we were on the hill getting ready to sled down.

     "Are you sure this is safe?" ben asked the group.

    Lilly walked over to him and hit him on the shoulder, "don't be such a big baby, it will be easy."

    ben sat down on his sled, "if you say so."

     Lilly jumped on the sled with him and pushed off, "I know so."

    they started sledding down the hill and the rest of us were laughing, ben was screaming the whole way down.

     then Kayla called to us, "hey! solangelo!"

     will and I looked at her.

     "stop calling us solangelo, it's weird," I said.

     "Never." Kayla grinned, "anyways, wanna race down the hill?"

     I smirked, "you're on."

     will and I got on one sled while Austin and Kayla got on another, Kayla counted down and we both pushed off, we were flying down the hill, will ended up falling off the sled, I facepalmed, 'only my clumsy boyfriend.' i thought to myself.

      I got to the bottom first, I stood up and faced Kayla.

     "We beat ya!" I bragged.

     "no." Kayla argued, "will fell off, that doesn't count."

     "yes it does." will remarked catching up at the bottom of the hill.

     "no, it doesn't." Austin argued.

     "Will you guys stop arguing?" Lilly complained looking at us, her hands on her hips.

     ben walked next to her, "yeah, it's annoying."

     "oh?" I asked, I bent down and grabbed a handful of snow, I turned it into a snowball and I threw it at ben, "take that!"

     "it's on!" ben yelled.

     it then became war, austin and Kayla were on a team, ben and Lilly were on a team, and will and I were on a team. something most people don't know about kids of hades, yes our fatal flaw is holding grudges, but another one is being competitive, all of my siblings and I are incredibly competitive. 

     we had to end the snowball war because Chiron came over to us to tell us it was dinner and we hit him in the face.

     we made our way to the dining pavilion in the snow and sat at the apollo cabin.

     "you know," Chiron told us, he was looking at ben and me, "you two should be sitting at the Hades table."

     "we've gone over this," I replied, "we cant, or else skeletons appear."

     Chiron just walked away, we then ate our dinner and headed back to our cabins for the night.

time change...(same pov)

     ben and I went to our cabin and ben wanted to play mytho magic, I played with him because it's mytho magic, and who would play mytho magic, we were on the first round and I won.

     ben then tackled me because he could, we started wrestling until dionysus came into the cabin.

     "What are you two doing?" he asked annoyed.

     "wrestling." ben started.

     "I don't want to hear it len."

     "My name's ben!" ben replied.

     "Whatever you say ken." dionysus spoke.

     "what do you want dionysus?" I asked.

     "to tell you that it's ten minutes past bedtime." dionysus answered.

     "Okay," I told him, "we'll head to bed."

     "Good." dionysus replied. he then left the cabin.

     ben and I climbed into our beds and I turned off the light, we then drifted off into a deep, relaxing sleep.

1st person pov (black beard's pov) (author note: I'm going to try and make this pov sound like a pirate talking, I hope you can understand it.)

    it's been a couple years since that annabeth lass freed me 'n pilfered me ship, i hate her 'n her scallywag percy, I found a new pirate ship but it's nah mine! I plan t' go t' thar squiffy wee camp 'n make 'em give me back me ship, no matter wha'. 

     me 'n me crew made a plan, a plan that would work, the plan starts on the morrow.

author note: hey yall, sorry I didn't post yesterday or the day before, something came up, but hopefully I can get back to posting on a daily basis, hope yall liked this chapter, see yall on the next one. also sorry for the cliffhanger, I needed to get a chapter up and I wouldn't be able to write it all in one day.
