3rd person

     it was a normal day, well as normal as it could be for a demigod, nico was walking around in the woods because, why not? when all of a sudden he heard a noise behind him, he turned around and unsheathed his sword, when he turned around he was staring down icy blue eyes, one that he recognized as the eyes belonging to Jason grace.

     "what are you doing seeking up on me like that? I could have killed you." nico said.

     "you wouldn't hurt me." Jason countered

     "Wanna bet?" nico asked raising his sword to Jason's neck.

     "no, thank you," Jason said swalliong hard.

     nico put his sword away and stared at Jason hoping he would answer his previous question, but sadly Jason just stayed quiet.

     "you gonna tell me what you doing?" nico questions.

     Jason snapped out of it, "oh yea, they want everyone in the big house for a meeting."

     "Okay, see you there." nico said, then shadow traveled away.

     when nico arrived in the big house meeting room he saw all the head counselors beside Jason who then entered through the door.

     "Great, now that everyone is here we can begin the meeting." Chiron said, "we have been getting reports from the satyrs about suspicious activity in new york lately, and we need to send three down there to check it out."

     "Well I'm from new york so I should go," Percy suggested 

     "that's a good idea, anyone else?" Chiron asked.

     "I'll go, someone needs to make sure Percy doesn't die," Annabeth said

     "perfect, one more." Chiron exclaimed, he then started scanning the crowd, "how about you nico?"

     "but-" will started but was stopped.

     "Will you go with them nico?" Chiron asked.

     "Sure." nico answered shrugging his shoulders.

     "Great, you guys go pack, and then you guys can head out," Chiron said.

     nico, Percy, and Annabeth stood up and headed out of the room, will stood up and walked toward Chiron.

     "How are we supposed to keep nico safe if he's out there fighting monsters?" will asked.

     "nico is with Percy and Annabeth, and we can't let nico knows what's happening, and we cant stop him from being a demigod, nico is strong, have faith," Chiron explained.

     "your right." will said, he then left the meeting room to go back to the infirmary.

time change... 

     nico, Percy, and Annabeth finished packing and headed to the car, while in the car they put nico in the middle and Percy and Annabeth on the side, when they arrived at their destination Annabeth got out first, then nico, then Percy, they once again kept nico in the middle, nico had grown annoyed at this and decided to speak up.

     "Will you guys stop?" he asked pushing them away.

     "what's wrong?" Percy asked.

     "you guys keep squishing me," nico complained.

     "oh, we're sorry nico," Annabeth said, she then engulfed nico in a hug.

     "get off of me!" nico yelled, "seriously what is up with you guys, everyone has been acting so weird,-"

     nico was cut off by growling in the corner of a dark alley, Percy and Annabeth pushed nico behind them.

     "hey!-" nico tried protesting but Percy clamped a hand over his mouth.

     "quiet," Percy said.

     nico pushed Percy's hand off his mouth and pointed his finger and Percy like he always does when he's about to lecture someone until the growling became louder, nico and Percy drew their swords and joined Annabeth, then a hellhound jumped from the shadows and lunged right at nico, it pushed nico down and stood on his chest, the hellhound was growling at nico, Percy stepped forward and the hellhound turned and faced Percy and barked, telling Percy to back off.

     "It's fine Percy." nico said.

     "what do we do?" Percy whispered to Annabeth.

     "I don't know." Annabeth answered, "do you have any food on you?"

     "no," Percy said.

     the hellhound turned back towards nico and started growling again.

     "don't worry guys, I got this." nico explained.

     nico slowly lifted his hand towards the hellhound's neck and gently started petting it, the hellhound immediately calmed down, the hellhound then got off of nico and held out its paw, nico grabbed the paw and pulled out a piece of metal, the hellhound bowed and then took off back down the alley.

     "nico that was amazing! how did you do that?" Percy exclaimed helping nico up.

     "It's like how you can understand horses, I can understand hellhounds, he told me that he needed help and I helped him." nico said.

     they then headed home and told everyone what nico did.
