3rd person pov

      a huge war was going on right now, the camp had gotten word that a huge battle was going to happen just off the outskirts of camp, they took a vote to either help or to leave it be, everyone decided to help in the fight. Percy, Annabeth, and frank took the left side of the fight. Jason, Nico, and hazel took the right side, while Leo, piper, and Reyna took the front, the rest of the campers took the middle, besides the medics who were on the side of the battle treating the wounded. normally the demigods would leave these types of fights to the people who were fighting but this one they knew had monsters on the other team. one of the monsters ran his way toward Percy, Annabeth, and frank, frank turned into a mouse to dodge the smash from the monster's fist, the fist then collided into Percy's face knocking him unconsine and falling to the ground.

     "Percy!" Annabeth yelled and ran towards Percy.

     frank retransformed out of his mouse form and ran over, "is he okay?" frank asked.

     "I don't know, will!" Annabeth called.

     will run over, "what's wrong?" he asked.

     "Percy got knocked out what do you think is wrong!" Annabeth snapped.

     "Sorry." will said, will then bent down and started looking over Percy.

     Annabeth and frank were forced to leave and help the others with the battle. while will was checking over Percy he didn't notice one of the monsters sneaking up on him.

     "hello little medic." the monster spoke.

     will jumped in surprise and turned around, what he saw was a giant monster, the monster was green with red eyes, sharp teeth and was ten feet tall, will wanted to speak, to ask the monster why he was worried about a medic, but he was too petrified by fear to talk.

     eventually will found the courage to talk, "w-why?" will asked.

     "why? medic do you have no idea how special you are?" the monster looked shocked at will's question like he couldn't understand why he asked that.

     "wh-what do you me-mean?" will asked.

     "you have no idea do you?" the monster laughed then bent down and grabbed will and picked him up.

     "Hey! let me go!" will shouted, the monster clamped his hand over will's mouth, stopping him from talking, "mph! mph!" will protested.

     the monster started making his way away from the fight, with will in his arms, will was struggling against the monster's grip but sadly it was no use, the monster was sneaking away with will and no one was noticing until Jason saw the sight and screamed.

     "Will!" Jason screamed.

     the monster stopped in his tracks and turned around, everyone turned to look, Nico's face was shocked but then turned to anger.

     "let. him. go." Nico ordered his voice scary calm.

     "goodbye son of hades." the monster said, Nico charged but the monster evaporated into smoke and disappeared.

     "no!" Nico yelled, he fell to his knees and sobbed, Jason ran over and hugged him, normally Nico would pull away but he was too upset to this time, "they took him, Jason, they took him."

     Jason pulled Nico tighter, the rest of the camp stood around sadly, no one had seen Nico cry besides Percy when Bianca had died.

time change... will's pov (3rd person)

      "Goodbye, son of hades." that was the last thing will heard before the monster teleported away. when the smoke disappeared will took note that he was no longer at the fight but now in a dark room, the monster dropped will to the ground, and will scampered away but then stood up and looked at the monster in fear.

     "where am I?" will asked, his voice shaking from fear.

     "somewhere." the monster answered.

     the monster made his way to the only door in the room and exited closing the door behind him, will heard the door locked, and ran his hands through his hair.

     "calm down will, you can get out of this." will told himself, "but what if you cant? no, you can think like that, you have to get home, to Nico, he already has gone through so much, you can't let him down, you also can't let yourself down, your strong will. you can do this."

     will sat down in the middle of the room and started making a plan on how to escape, if not for Nico but for himself, he won't let some monster bring down his spirit.

time change... Nico's pov (3rd person)

     Nico had called a meeting of the counselors immediately, everyone had filed into the room, it was quiet until Chiron spoke.

     "We need to know why the monster took will, it might help us figure out where he took him."

     "the monster said, 'goodbye son of hades.' he purposely talked to me, I don't know why but I think it's my fault why will was taken," Nico said, his eyes turned to the ground.

     "you can't think like that Nico, it's not your fault," Jason told.

     "that you know of." Nico snapped, "look, I don't know about you guys but I'm gonna find will no matter what, ill shadow travel everywhere if I have to."

     "that will kill you, Nico!" Jason exclaimed.

     "Not if I time it out correctly," Nico said.

     "I'll help," Annabeth spoke.

     "me too," Percy said.

     the rest of the seven shook their head in agreement, Chiron told all of them to pack for they would be away for who knows how long, while Nico was in his cabin his demigod-proof phone started ringing, Nico looked at his phone and saw that will was calling him, Nico immediately picked up.

     "will! hello, will. where are you? answer me solace!" Nico exclaimed frantically.

     "I'm afraid solace can't come to the phone right now." a raspy voice spoke.

     "Who are you?" Nico asked angrily.

     "that's not important, now shall we get down to business?" the voice asked.

     "what do you want?" Nico asked.

     "I think you know." the voice said.

     "no, I don't." Nico sassed.

     "meet me at the old abandoned factory and nine tonight with my stuff, oh and come alone if you ever want to see blondie again, if you miss it you'll get a call, if you disobey me and bring friends you'll get a call, and trust me, death boy, you won't like the call." the voice then hanged up leaving Nico shaking from anger. Nico rushed to pack up his stuff and then ran to the big house.

     "Are you all ready to go?" Chiron asked them all.

     "not quite, I need to tell you all something," Nico said.

     "what is it, Nico?" Jason asked, his voice concerned.

     Nico knew he shouldn't tell them anything like the person said, but as much as he hates to admit it, they were his friends and he can't do this alone.

     "While I was packing, I got a call on my phone, the contact said will so I picked it up, but it wasn't will, I couldn't tell who it was but the voice said I had to meet him at the old abandoned factory at nine tonight and to bring the thing he wants if I ever wanted to see will again," Nico explained.

     "well, that's great! what does he want?" Leo asked

     "that's the thing, I don't know," Nico answered.

     "well who cares, we'll just beat it out of him," Reyna said.

     "he said that I needed to go alone," Nico replied.

     "so we'll hide," Leo said.

     "no!" Nico snapped, "I'm doing this myself."

     "Nico-" Jason started.

     "stop it! stop it! stop it!" Nico yelled, "I'm doing this myself and there's nothing anyone can do to stop me! if I see any of you guys there I will kill all of you!"

     everyone was shocked at Nico's outburst, Nico's voice sounded so heartbroken, Percy went to talk but then stopped himself, Nico turned and walked out of the big house, everyone looked around worried for their young friend.

time change... will's pov (3rd person)

     will had been trapped in the room for he didn't even know how long, but he was not giving up, he would escape, will was only pulled out of his thoughts when the door to his prison busted open, will stood up and got ready to fight whoever or whatever was going to come in, this might be his only chance to escape. the monster from before walked in along with a tall brown-haired guy, half of his face was blue.

     "ready to go?" the guy asked.

     "go where?" will asked cautiously.

     "why to see your boyfriend of course!" the guy exclaimed.

     will raised his eyebrows, the guy looked annoyed.

     "Look, your ethier coming with me with your consent, or I will force you out." the guy ordered.

     will thought over his choices and decided it would be better if he obey, "I'll go." will said.

     "Good, get over here." the guy ordered.

     will obeyed and walked over, the monster grabbed will while the other guy tied will's hands together behind his back, he then put a bag over Will's head.

     "Now stay quiet, or I'll kill your boyfriend." the guy whispered.

     will then felt himself turn into smoke.

time change...Nico's pov (3rd person)

     Nico had sent a timer so that he would arrive at the old abandoned factory two minutes before nine. it was now nine and no one had shown up, Nico was getting nervous, was this a trap, had they already killed will, did Nico grab the thing the guy wanted? he didn't know!

     "where is he?" Nico asked himself.

     "ah look who showed up." a voice exclaimed behind Nico.

     Nico turned around, his sword out, he saw a guy, this guy is a tall brown-haired guy half of this guy's face is blue, along with the guy the monster that took will was there too, the monster was holding somebody, this person has a bag over their head so Nico couldn't see who it is.

     "I have your stuff, give me will," Nico spoke.

     "Are you alone?" the guy asked.

     "yes! now give me back will."

     "hand me my stuff." the guy ordered.

     "how do I know you will give me will?" Nico asked.

     "Well, I guess you just gonna have to trust me, you'll find I'm not one to break promises." 

     the guy spoke with such confidence that Nico figured he was telling the truth.

     "Okay well, how do I know that's will and not some fake?" Nico questioned.

     the guy sighed, "you have a lot of trust issues, kello, remove the bag." the guy ordered.

     the monster, whose name was apparently kello, took off the bag revealing a boy with blonde hair, though his hair was messed up from the bag over his head Nico knew who the boy was.

     "Nico!" will yelled.

     "Will! are you okay?" Nico asked.

     "I'm fine Nico, but whatever he wants don't do it!" will said.

     "I told you to be quiet!" the guy snapped.

     "I won't be quiet! I won't be silenced by fear because I'm not scared! there's nothing you can do to make me scared of you!" will yelled.

     "Whatever, now, Nico will you give me my stuff, or should kello snap your boyfriend's neck?" the guy asked.

     "Please let me snap his neck, please!" kello pleaded.

     "calm down kello, calm down." the guy said.

     "but traco! I want to snap his neck!" kello pouted.

     "no! Nico you hand me the bag right now or so help me!" traco yelled.

     "fine," Nico replied, he threw the bag but before the bag reached traco it was shot aside by an arrow, one that Nico recognized as one of franks arrows.

     "I thought you said you came alone!" traco yelled, he pulled out a sword.

     "I did! they must have followed me!" nic turned and saw the seven-plus Reyna running towards traco.

     "kello, teleport now!" traco ordered.

     kello started turning into smoke along with will and traco.

     "no!" Nico yelled.

     "Nico, stay back! I love you." will said, he then disappeared once again.

     "no!" Nico yelled, his voice broken, the seven had run up to him, "why did you come! I told you not to come! because of you all, will is gone! I was this close to getting him back!"

     "Nico-" Percy started.

     Nico pushed Percy away, "no! it's your fault! all of you! I hate you! and I'm going to kill you all!"

     Nico swung his sword at Percy but Percy counted.

     "Nico, please." Percy pleaded, "I don't want to hurt you."

     "I warned you! I told you all that if you guys showed up I would kill you all!" Nico yelled, he lifted his hands up and skeletons rose from the ground, "and I'm fulfilling that! I promise you all I'm going to kill every single one of you!"

     Nico swung his sword again, Percy counted, Percy noticed Nico getting slower, Nico wasted some of his energy on those skeletons and Percy knew that. all of a sudden Nico fell to the ground, knocked out, he looked calmer than before, peaceful even.

     "come on, let's take him back to camp, he needs to see a medic," Percy said.

     Annabeth realized that Percy was close to tears but she decided that he wouldn't want the rest of the 7 to know that, Jason picked up Nico and they started heading back to camp.

time change... will's pov. (3rd person)

     will was teleported back into the room from before, kello dropped him on the ground once again, traco was pacing around.

     "it was obvious that nico didn't realize he was followed, I'll try contacting him once more," traco mumbled to himself.

     "but I wanted to kill blondie!" kello whined 

     "and you will-" traco started.

     "yay!" kello interrupted.

     "if nico doesn't pay me, or doesn't answer me," traco added

     "Why!" kello complained.

     "Because I said so!" traco yelled.

time change...nico's pov (3rd person.)

     nico woke up feeling light-headed, but he was still fuming with anger, he hated percy and the rest of the seven, if they weren't there he would've gotten will back, nico sat up and grabbed his head, his phone then started ringing, he saw that the contact said will and picked it up immediately.

     "Hello?" nico said.

     "hello nico, I was quite enjoying our chat from earlier before it got rudely interrupted," traco replied.

     "Listen, I had no idea they were there, you have to trust me!" nico exclaimed.

     "oh I do, that's why I'm going to give you another chance, but this is the last one, I'm going to send you my location, your going to come here right away with my stuff and give it to me then you and will can leave, buh bye now." the guy explained, he then hanged up.

     nico quickly shadowed traveled to his cabin to grab the duffle bag and then shadow traveled to the location, the location was dark and grim, traco and kello were there once more, this time traco was holding will's arm, will was gagged with his hands tied behind his back.

     "hello again." traco said.

     "I got your stuff, here." nico threw the bag and it landed next to traco's feet. "now give me will."

     "hold on, I have to check if this is what I wanted." traco bent down opened the bag, and nodded, he then let go of will, and will ran towards nico, "please doing business with ya."

     traco turned to smoke along with kello, nico turned to will, nico removed the gag and untied will's hands, they hugged.

     "oh my gods will are you okay?" nico asked, his voice filled with worry.

     "I'm okay nico, now that I'm here I'm okay." will said.

      they returned to camp, after this incendent nico rarely left will's side, they were together once more.
