author note: @Dark_Ghostie asked me to continue the 3rd pov story so here we go!

previously on-

     "hera robbed lamia of her children so lamia kills every child when she has the chance." annabeth explained.

both annabeth and percy looked at each other like they knew what to do, then...

3rd person pov (Percy's pov)

     percy and Annabeth turned around and faced the monster in front of them.

     "it's time to stop running children, your time is through." lamia said.

     "Yeah, you see, I wasn't really listening when annabeth was telling me about you so, why do you want to kill us?" percy lied, percy always listens when annabeth talks, even when she's not talking to him.

     "I was a beautiful young woman!" lamia exclaimed, "but then, hera robbed me of my children so I killed myself, because I couldn't live without my children, and now I'm a monster!"

     percy looked absolutely bored when lamia explained, when she was done he snapped out of his thoughts.

     "huh?" percy asked, "sorry I was thinking about blue food."

     annabeth just rolled her eyes at her seaweed brain of a boyfriend.

     "curse you children!" lamia screeched.

     lamia then lunged at percy and Annabeth. percy and Annabeth dodged, percy rolled behind lamia and stabbed her in the back, she then poofed into dust.

     "percy?" annabeth said.

     percy turned around. "yeah?"

     percy saw that Annabeth had a huge gash on her stomach, the dragon around lamia's waist had apparently scratched annabeth on her stomach, annabeth fell to the ground and percy ran over too.

     "here." percy said, he fed annabeth some nectar and ambrosia.

     the gash started close, percy then helped her up and they headed off to camp.
