1st person's pov (Nico's pov) 

     I walked into the cabin to try and see if Ben was in there. I haven't seen him since I yelled at him. He wasn't in the cabin but there was a note, on the note it said,

                                               dear nico, I saw a second pirate ship on the lake 

                                         and decided to check it out, I wanted to find  everyone

                  but I didn't think there would be time, love your amazing younger brother, Ben.

     "ah cazzo!" I exclaimed, "davvero ben, come hai potuto fare una cosa del genere?!"

     "NICO!" I heard a voice yell from the big house.

     I ran out of my cabin and saw Will on the porch of the big house, he gestured for me to hurry inside.

     "what's wrong?" I asked.

     "This note appeared on the big house table," Percy said handing me a note, the note said that if blackbeard wanted his son back we would need to pay over fifty thousand grand in gold.

     "Ben's missing," I told Will.

     "I'm sure he's just still angry." will tried saying.

     I handed him the note Ben had left for me.

     "gods of Olympus why?!" will complained.

     "If I had to guess ethans on the ship Ben's talking about." I told Will, "Find the ship, we find ethan and Ben."

     "let's do this!" will said enthusticastily.

change of pov...

1st person pov (Ethan's pov)

     I was trying to get the ropes around my wrist off when all of a sudden Ben appeared in the middle of the room, he stared at me, and he then fell to the ground.

     'not good! not good! not good!' I thought to myself.

     I laid down and struggled against the ropes on my wrists, when I heard steps down to the door, 'They coming!' I rolled to Ben and used my feet to push him into a box, I then quickly rolled back to my spot from before, then the door answered and Ansley and Kenley appeared.

     as they made their way towards me I hoped they didn't find Ben. they cut the rope off around my feet and picked me up, they forced me outside of the hull and brought me up onto the deck. 

     there were a bunch of people that I didn't recognize.

     Ansley bent down and whispered in my ear, "I be goin' t' scuttle the cloth now but ye 'ave t' be quiet."

     I nodded my head to make sure he knew I understood, I then removed the cloth, and he gave me some water, and I gulped it down thankful.

     "thank you," I told him.

     he didn't reply, he brought me to Zella.

     "it's time to make your choice young lad." Zella told me, "Are you joining me crew or not?"

     "I'M NOT JOINING YOUR STUPID CREW!" I screamed at her.

     "fine then!" Zella snapped, "Take 'im down t' the hull. It's time fer plan B."

     they started dragging me back down to the hull, threw me against the wall, re-tied my feet together, took a picture of me, and then left laughing. I looked over at ben was still in the box, I sighed thankful that he still hadn't been found. suddenly he jumped awake.

     "Where am I?!" he ask, the box was over his head so he couldn't see anything.

     "quiet down." I whispered to him,  "You're on a pirate ship, inside a box."

     Ben crawled out of the box and ran to me. he started to untie the rope.

     "How did you find me?" I asked quietly.

     "I saw the ship on the ocean and shadow traveled here." Ben explained.

     "are the other's here?" I questioned.

     "no." Ben answered, "I couldn't find them and I didn't think there'd be time to find them and still save you, I left them a note explaining things."

     Ben had finished untying the rope we heard walking outside the door.

     "hide!" I told Ben.

     Ben hid behind the box I had put him in earlier, suddenly ansely and Kenley entered the room, Kenley had a plate of food and when he saw me untied he dropped the plate.

     "How did ye get out?!" Kenley asked.

     "by getting out," I answered.

     Kenley lunged at me but I dodged at ran out of the hull, I ran up and was back on the deck.

     "Captain!" Ansley yelled, "Grab 'im!"

     Zella and the rest of her crew turned to me, I stared at them for a moment while they stared back, and I then ran up to the steering wheel. I made the ship turn towards camp. when Kenley grabbed me there was nothing I could do to fight back. Zella took back control of the wheel.

     "let him go!" a voice said on the deck, I looked over and I saw Ben standing there, he had his sword in his hand.

     "get 'im!" Zella ordered, and suddenly everyone turned to Ben.

     "RUN!" I yelled to Ben, then...

pov change...

1st person pov (Nico's pov)

     I told everyone about the note from Ben and we left the big house, on the lake we saw a second pirate ship, just like Ben said. 

     "Could you bring us onto the ship?" will asked.

     "no!" I exclaimed, "It's mid-day will! I need shadows to shadow travel!"

     "Percy can you bring the ship towards us?" annabeth asked.

     "yea!" Percy answered, then we saw waves start bringing over the ship.

     we ran towards the lake and started climbing up this ship...

pov change...

1st person pov (ethan's pov)

     Ben ran down the hull being chased by a bunch of pirates, Kenley, and Zella stayed with me, I was fighting against Kenley's grip. he pulled me back hard and snapped.

     "Will you stop that?!" 

     "let! me! go!" I fought.

     "Quiet!" Zella yelled.

     suddenly I heard yelling from downstairs, ben was brought up the steps. his sword was being held by Ansley.

     "Great job whelps." Zella congratulated them, she then looked at Ben, "Now, who are you?"

      "a ghost." Ben lied.

      "you better learn not to lie to me, young boy." Zella said, "ill ask again, who are you?"

      "your worst nightmare," Ben replied.

     Zella growled, "What. is. your. name?"

     "what's yours?"

     Zella screamed and grabbed me, she pulled me to the side of the ship.

     "tell me your name right now or ill drop him!" 

     "I'm Ben," Ben said, his voice calm even though he was in immense danger, "what's yours?"

     "Zella," Zella told him, she brought me away from the side of the ship, "tell me, how'd you get on the ship?"

     "magic," Ben answered making his eyes widen mischievously.

     "is there anyone else on this ship from you?" Zella asked.

      "Not that I know of," Ben answered, "I told them about the ship in a letter, don't know if they've seen it or not."

     Zella growled, she handed me back to Kenley, "Take them down to the hull."

     "yes, ma'am," Kenley said.

      then both him and Ansley dragged Ben and me to the hull, Ansley put a sword against Ben's throat so Kenley could tie my hands and feet without me struggling, and they then did the same thing to Ben. they took a photo of Ben and left, I glanced at Ben, he didn't look freaked out, he looked...calm.

     "how come you look so calm?" I asked him, "Zella is one of the worst pirates ever, she's done unspeakable things."

     "I have a plan," Ben told me, "I need you to scoot as far away from me as you can."

     I did as he said, "Why?"

     "because of this," Ben replied.

     Ben's hands suddenly set on fire, I saw the fire burning the rope around his wrists. Ben untied the rope around his feet and stood up, he stomped out the flames and rushed over to me, he untied my wrists and ankles and helped me stand up.

     "hold on," Ben told me.

     we then disappeared in the shadows, we arrived in the forest at camp, and Ben fell to the ground, 'oh gods! is he dead?!' I exclaimed to myself in my brain, I caught him and laid him down gently, I looked out and saw my dad, Percy, nico, annabeth, and Will, climbing up the side of zella's ship, 'I have to tell nico.'.

     I tried screaming for them but they weren't able to hear me. I ran after them...

pov change...

1st person pov (Percy's pov)

     after we climbed onto the ship we were immediately surrounded by pirates with their swords pointed at our necks.

     "where's me son zella?" blackbeard asked.

     "We threw 'im overbored wit' another young lad." Zella answered with a smirk.

     "Ben..." nico said, his eyes widening in fear.

     "aye," Zella replied, "that was the lad's name."

     Nico's eyes turned murderous, "You're lying."

     "I'm nah." Zella replied.

     "you're not?" a voice near us asked, we turned, and near the captain's wheel was ethan thatch, the son of blackbeard, "don't worry nico, Ben's safe, unconscious but safe."

     nico smiled, he made Skelton's raise and swung his sword.

     "let's do this!" I exclaimed. 

     I uncapped rip tide and swung at Kenley's kneecaps, he fell to the ground. we did the same thing to all the pirates. after the fight blackbeard called the cops and I sent the ship to the shore around an hour away, nico turned to ethan after blackbeard was done squeezing him to death.

     "Can you show me where Ben is?" nico asked.

     ethan nodded and then ran off to the woods, we followed behind. he took us to a sleeping ben.

     "he saved my life today." ethan told nico, his voice upset, if I didn't know any better id think ethan thought Ben was dead, "if it wasn't for him I probably would've been dead before you guys found the ship."

     will picked Ben up, "don't worry ethan, Ben's not dead, he's just tired from using his powers."

     ethan sighed, "Oh thank the gods!"

     blackbeard hugged his son again as Will took Ben to the infirmary.

change of pov...

1st person pov (Ben's pov)

     I woke up in the infirmary and saw nico and ethan by my side.

     "ben!" ethan exclaimed hugging me.

     "I'm glad to see youre safe." I told ethan.

     "I'm going to go wait outside for you." ethan replied, he then walked out of the infirmary.

     i looked at nico and then at my hands.

     "ben," nico started, "i am so sorry for what i said, its not true. you are so strong and can protect yourself. what i said was cruel, and it was mean, and i am so so sorry for hurting you."

     i smiled at my older brother, "it okay nico, i accept."

     nico hugged me, " sei cosi coraggioso ben, non dimenticarlo mai."
