author note: the kids at camp half-blood absolutely love nico and walk into his cabin every night asking for bedtime stories, and as much as nico tries to be dark and scary he just can't help but give in to the kids. DISCLAIMER- I GOT THIS IDEA FROM TINA_BOOKSLOVER (THANKS FOR LETTING ME USE THIS IDEA) also I have a couple of headcanons I want to share with yall before we begin

my headcanons-

1. leo looks absolutely crazy when he explains his inventions and the 7+ nico just don't care, while will is so interested in it and he loves hearing leo rant about them (or anyone ranting about anything)

2. whenever camp has a 'line up' kinda thing, will always ends up breaking it because of his ADHD he just like walks over to nico and try talking to him and he'll get yelled at to get back in line.

3. will introduce himself like "hi, I'm William Andrew solace"

4. will have an extreme sweet tooth

5. He loves to sing to Nico to help with his nightmares and they would even be songs he just made in his head.

that's all the headcanons I can't think of but I also came up with a solangelo meme (yes I do know that weather can't affect the camp, but let's just say Dionysus was having a bad day:

will: *enter's Nico's cabin, soaking wet and you can hear rain and thunder outside* Nico...

Nico: what, will?

will: it raining.

nico: what about it? I like the rain, it makes the sky all dark.

will: well I don't, it blocks the sun and it's loud.

Nico: come here, you big baby. *pulls will to him and starts to cuddle him*

will: thank you.

*Nico smiles*

1st person pov (nico's pov)

ben and I were in the hades cabin, ben was laying on his bed and kicking his legs back and forth bored, I was sharpening my sword, ben kept looking at me like he wanted to ask me something but was scared, he continued kicking his legs, he then looked at me again and sighed. I had enough, guess I would have to ask him, I put my sword down and looked at him.

"what do you want?" I asked crossing my arms and looking at him.

ben sat up in his bed excited, "could you tell me a story?"

"fine-" I started.

ben stood up and ran to the hades door, he opened the door and screamed, "NICO'S TELLING A STORY!"

I then heard a bunch of feet running towards the cabin, I facepalmed 'great' i thought, and seconds later all the kids at camp were in my cabin, Ages ranged from twelve to five, and they sat on the floor, or some of the empty bed's, they all looked fascinated and excited to hear me start telling a story.

"Okay..." I said, "um, what type of story do you guys want?"

"SCARY!" every single kid yelled.

it was loud so I had to cover my ears, I lowered my hands and stood up.

"Alright then," I started, "once upon a time..."

time change...

1st person pov (will's pov)

it was nine-thirty right now, the infirmary was closed now, the infirmary was full because it was capture the flag tonight and percy went all out of the area cabin, again! I made my way to my cabin to get ready for bed when I walked past the hades cabin, the lights were on inside and I heard talking inside. I walked over and looked through the window, there my boyfriend was, he was telling the kids at camp a story like he does almost every night. the kids were all hugging each other but also laughing, I smiled softly at my boyfriend, he's so good with kids.

"and all of a sudden..." nico said in suspense, his posture bent down trying to look all spooky and scary, he then jumped up and made an explosion noise, "boom! The bomb exploded!"

the kids started laughing, and I realized that it was now nine-forty, only twenty minutes till curfew, I hate to do it but I have to get tell the kids to go back to their cabins.

I walked through the opened cabin door and knocked on the door frame, while leaning on it, nico stopped talking and looked at me, he immediately stood up straight and cleared his throat, "will! what are you doing here?"

"I just came to tell everyone that it's time to get ready for bed," I replied.

"awwwwwww." the kids exclaimed, "we don't want to! we want to hear the rest of the story!"

"will's right," nico helped, "come back tomorrow at eight-thirty, and ill finish it."

the kids stood up, "okay..." they said sadly, "bye nico! bye, will!"

all the kids, besides ben, then left the hades cabin and made their way to their separate cabins, nico walked over towards me.

"shouldn't you be heading to bed too then?" he asked.

"I should yes." I said, I kissed him on the lips, "goodnight."

before nico could respond we heard ben, "ew!" he cried.

"good night will." nico replied to me, he kissed me on the lips.

"ew!" ben cried again.

I made my way out the door, "goodnight ben!" I called.

"goodnight will!" ben responded.

time change...

1st person pov (nico's pov)

it was the next day and at eight-thirty exactly, my cabin was filled once again by kids, I told them the rest of the story and then sent them off to bed, this routine continued for the rest of the summer.
