Chapter Two
June 19th, 1783
Dear diary,
My guardian isn't really nice, and she won't tell me her name. Something about how I'm a Mary Sue and a colleague who doesn't need to know her name. I'm scared of the outside but, I think I can make it two days. I mean, how hard could it be?
Signed,
Rapunzel.
Rapunzel was a pain in the ass. She was scared of everything, and she was so clingy. She would insist on holding Cassandra's arm like a teddy bear, and would sing to herself constantly, loudly, so she could hear it. Apparently she was deaf to her own singing, hence why she had to belt out every last note and not stop scaring the pray away for lunch. Now, they had gone hungry.
So far, everything was normal.

Now all that was left was the river, and the rest of the forest. The problem you see, was that Rapunzel had decided to explore a cave and dragged Cassandra along. Well, when you go into a cave in the middle of the woods with a crazy person, don't expect to much.
The first thing was just the sound of Rapunzel's feet as they moved through the water. Then there was the sound of hair as it scraped across rock. Lastly, there was the sound of the rocks as they hit the water, the hair having knotted around one of the stalactites.
"What was that?" Cassandra said, turning around sharply to face the now non existent entrance to the cave. "I don't know. My hair was caught on something, but I managed to pull it out."
"Great Raps, but I think we have a bigger problem."
Water was still rushing in... They were trapped.
