Part Sixteen
Ellis had pretty much spent the week, and weekend, lying up in bed and sobbing, eating and drinking beers. I called in some guys to take over the garage as Ellis wasn't in any shape for working and I wanted him to rest.
"Ellis, wake up," I rattled him lightly so I could let him know I made him his favourite food. "Ellis, I have you or favourite food here." He opened his eyes and smiled, getting up lazily, planting a kiss on my forehead.
"I love you." He said, with a huge grin on his face and his perfect eyes melted me even more. He always melts me, everything about him is perfection to me.
Ellis rubbed his eyes and yawned, stretching out his arms and clearly showing his muscles off.
"Let me throw on a shirt and I'll be there in a second." He said while rubbing his eyes again.
I walked over and gave him a light kiss while ruffling his hair, "okay."
I walked out and closed the door, sitting my ass down on the couch. It was a little cold-maybe because I was wearing shorts and and a jumper that was thin. I felt rough, so angry and annoyed. If I could slap that son of a bitch Keith one more time-
"Wanna go out later?" Ellis interrupted my thinking, probably for the best.
"Of course."
--
He had finished his food off and set his dish in the sink. Ellis looked so pale and annoyed. He'd thrown up a few times from the annoyance and my heart was breaking into two everytime he cried.
"Here, I need to run down to the garage a minute to make sure the guys are doing their job. Give me five minutes." He leaned into me and gave me a kiss.
His apartment was above the garage. Easy access. I heard spanners and tools banging across the cars and the floor. I would say that Ellis got all his profit back from what Keith done because many cars were rolling in for fixing.
I'd hired guys that I knew that helped me on the job regularly. They were just as good as Ellis, and if Ellis was looking for it, he could've hired them full time. After all, it was Keith and Ellis only. With two other guys being in once every two months.
They were top men, helped me escape the police back in Washington. I got charged $15000 for public damage. At the time, that didn't even put a dent into the three black bank cards I had.
"Nick!" Tommy shouted, a small black haired guy with tattoos down one leg and down both arms.
I nodded and smiled. "Any of you guys know where Bill is? I tried calling him but no answer."
Latch, a tall guy with a stubble and blondish hair spoke out. God, he was a lifesaver four years ago. "Try calling him through this number. I'm pretty sure he changed it since about a month ago." He handed me a piece of paper with a number on it.
"And he didn't tell me?" I replied with a furrowed eyebrow.
"He's old, Nick."
"That's true." I laughed.
Another guy who I'd just hired locally, Blu, tall and skinny, blue hair. Blu was a nickname he went by, worked at another local shop, three miles out. "How is he?"
"I think he'll be okay. It hurts to see him in such a way. I wasn't expecting it to hit him this hard but in someway I was expecting this. I love him, hell, I'd run into a life or death situation for him. Anyways, cheers boys. Beers on me tonight at black mountain."
They continued working on the cars and I pulled out my phone and called the number.
"This is Bill speaking, how may I help?"
"It's Nick, thanks for telling me you got a new number." I laughed.
"Sorry boy! I completely forgot. How are you?"
----
I went up to Ellis who was sitting with a glass of water and wrapped in blankets, flicking through his phone.
"How is Latch, Blu and Tommy getting on?" He questioned, sitting up and watching me walk over towards him.
"You have absolutely nothing to worry about. Cars have been in and out today like crazy accordingly. You've pretty much got the profit for you and the shop back from Keith and what he stole. No worrying about money babe."
I could see his smile light up. He actually giggled and hugged me tight and thanked me.
"Thank you, Nick. This means a lot. Finding out why so much of my money was disappearing almost set my shop out of supplies and profit. I was so worried and your men have saved our asses."
"No problem, and you know I'd do anything for you if it meant you'd be happy. I think me, Tommy, Latch and Blu are going out to the Black Mountain Bar if you want to come?"
"Yes, it would be nice to get back out for a while." He smiled and my heart warmed.
That night, he took my breath away. He wore tight skinny jeans, a white dress shirt and a leather jacket. The leather jacket wasn't too baggy or too tight, it looked amazing.
I looked at him, up and down, realising that I really was lucky. Lucky as fuck to have such a beautiful person as mine. I pulled him into me tight, kissing him and making sure his body didn't part from mine. His warmth and heat could've kept me going for days.
Soon enough the night set and the bar was almost packed. Some people were already drunk off their tits. Latch was at the gambling machine while Blu and Tommy were ordering beers.
"Hey Nick and Ellis. Nice to finally meet you." Blu said.
Ellis looked shy, but proceeded. "Nice to meet you all. Thank you for the help with the shop and getting the profit back. I can't thank you guys enough."
Tommy let out a soft smile, "it's great to help you. We've known Nick for years now. Glad we are helping."
Ellis smiled. He looked content and happy, I just hoped he was thinking about that dickhead Keith.
"If you want to go home at anytime, just say and I'll grab us a taxi home, alright?"
"Yes."
I smiled and ordered us both a beer.
At this point, it was two o'clock in the morning and the bartender was making the final call for drinks. Blu left with a women and Tommy and Latch were sitting beside Ellis having another beer.
None of us were even drunk. We mostly spent the night talking shit and not caring. Ellis was full of laughs.
"Ya'll have me wanting to buy myself a new truck!"
I giggled at him and lowered my hand onto his thigh and his hand then rested on mine. The warm feeling was in my heart again and it felt so heavenly and sweet.
"Have a great night now!"
Ellis stumbled a bit over his feet and words. He had downed three beers and was lightly tipsy but you wouldn't have noticed.
"I had a good night tonight, thanks for taking me out." Ellis smiled, stopped me and then stood on his toes to kiss me. The kiss was passionate. His hands gripped my jacket and it felt like this kiss was everlasting. I wanted him forever. This kiss, his touch, I wanted him home. Now.
I pushed his front door open and made sure his lips didn't part from mine. His hands left me as he grabbed off his leather jacket and he pulled mine off. "Why do you do these things to me?"
"I love it." Ellis replied while talking through gritted teeth.
He threw my shirt off and I threw him down onto the messy bed and kissed him roughly, moving to his neck and leaving soft marks. He done everything to me.
--
I drew circles on his arms. He laid with his head on my chest and his leg laced under the duvet with mine. The room felt hot, making me feel sticky and gross. It was five in the morning and I yawned. "I love you, Ellis."
"Can I ask you something?" He sat up and smiled shyly, while his cheeks went bright red.
"Of course you can. No need to ask me if you can ask me something." I smiled while pulling him in again.
"Can you move in with me?"
I smiled and lightly chuckled.
"Technically, I have been living here for a few weeks."
"But, I want you to really stay here. I feel like you're going to leave- well not leave me, but leave to stay in your own house if you bought one."
"I want to stay here, with you, where I am right now. To stay and keep you beside me, make you your favourite breakfasts, dinners, lunches, you name it. I want to stay." And he smiled and hugged me tight.
