"I'm scared daddy I don't want the surgery" she says as she continues to cry

Niall was at a loss for words when he heard this from his daughter's mouth

"It's going to be okay you are going to be in good hands with the doctor's and the nurses and guess what else?" he asks her

"What daddy?" she asks him

"You are going to be the first one your age to have your back completely operated on" he says as he tries to come up with something on the fly to make it all better for her cause this was the first time that the hospital was going to be operating on a child whole back cause she needed to have her back completely fix cause she has some disks were slipping and that was going to cause some more problems down the road with her and he wanted her to be completely better and a walking miracle

Bella smiled at him as he got up with her cause the nurse wondered where they went to after they got off the elevator

"Bella we are ready for you" the nurse says to him

"It's going to be okay daddy going to lay you down and when you are asleep he will leave to be with your sisters" he says as he takes her to the operating room for her surgery so she can get better

Niall knew this was scary for the both of them and she was going to be all better by the night or the next day depending on how long the surgery is going to be for her

"Here we go Bella" he says as he lays her down on the table so her surgery can begin 

"Daddy I'm scared" she says to him 

"I know your scared Bella I am too, and you will be all better once the surgery is done and over with. You will be able to do a lot of things that you couldn't before with your back" he says as he tries to make it all better for her before she went under the knife 

Niall decided to sing her a lullaby to help with the scariness of having this surgery 

"Is that better Bella?" he asks her 

She shakes her head no at him 

"I'll stay with you for as long as I can and then I will see you in recovery" he says as she comforts her before she went under the knife 

Niall was doing everything that he could to make it all better for her before she went under the knife, and she still wasn't a happy camper that she was having surgery  

"Do you want daddy to hold you?" he asks her after everything he tried failed 

She nods with a sniffle

"Okay daddy will hold you doodle bug" he says as he picks her up and rocks her gently in his arms 

Niall stroked her hair and told her that he loves her with all his heart and he wasn't going to let her go anytime soon at all 

"After you have the surgery daddy will have to take care of you for a while, and daddy is okay with that" he says as he continues to comfort her before she went under the knife

Bella continued to cry before she was given the medicine that was going to make her go to sleep, so she wouldn't feel anything 

"This has to be a nightmare for her" he says as he rocks and comforts her some more cause she wasn't going to have the surgery for no money at all  

"How old is she?" a nurse asks him 

"Five and this is her first major surgery that she will ever have" he says as he whispers it to the nurse so Bella doesn't hear that 

Niall was able to get her to settle down after a while

"Here we go Bella daddy going to be gentle as he lays you down on the table so you can get some sleep cause daddy can see that you are tired" he says as he gently lays her down on the table so her surgery can finally get underway after it has been postponed cause she was really scared to have the surgery  

Niall laid her face down on the table cause they had to get her back prepped for the surgery

"This might tickle Bella" the nurse says as she got the paint out to paint on her back before she went under the knife 

Bella giggled as the paint stuff went on her back 

"Does that tickle princess?" Niall asks her 

She nods a little bit with tears in her eyes  

"Daddy isn't going to leave you just yet he is going to stay until you close your pretty little eyes" he says as the drape went on her back after they had put the paint stuff on her back 

Niall gives her kisses to show that he still loves her for what she was

"Okay Bella we are going to put you to sleep now, so we can get started with the surgery" another nurse says as she got the medicine that was going to put Bella to sleep ready

Bella hides her face from the medicine 

"Isabella Horan" Niall says in a stern voice cause that was going to be the only way he was going to have her cooperate for the nurses and the doctor's before she went under for the surgery 

Bella looks up at daddy with tears in her eyes 

"Bella you have to cooperate for the nurse, so you can have the surgery princess, and if you don't go to sleep they can't do the surgery, and you can't get better and will be able to do anything that you want to do" he says as he looks at her cause she wasn't having nothing of the surgery 

"No daddy" she says to him as she starts to cry again cause she did not want to have the surgery at all she wanted off the table, and into his arms once more 

"The doctor is waiting to start the surgery he washed his hands and everything, and he is waiting for you to go to sleep so he can start the surgery on you sweet girl" the nurse says as she got the medicine started  

Bella shakes her head no and buries her face into his chest cause she didn't want the medicine in her at all

"It's started sweetie" he says as the nurse nod that the medicine was started
