A/N: Hey there!!!! How are you guys this week? About me, I have a bad cut on my left hand since I broke a cup last night. It was terrible and I had to go to the hospital. So that's why I can't upload a lot like I used to. Maybe this will be the only chap in a long time until my hand got better. Hope you still support me!!!! Thank you!!!

CHAPTER 8

June's POV

The following days passed quickly as I tried my best to keep a big big distance from Niall. It was so hard and so hurtful to me. Everytime I had to find an excuse, my heart was broken but that what I had to do, what it was right to do.

Friday came very fast and unexpected. Only when April pulled me out of my bed to go shopping with her and got ready for the date with Harry did I realize the boys had stayed there for a week.

"How do you think about this? June!!!! June!!!!"

April waved her hand and I woke myself from thoughts. She was holding a pink dress.

"A little girly because it is pink, but it's adorable. Come on, try it." - I pushed her into the changing room.

While waiting for April, I went around the shop and saw a beautiful dress. It was in a charming blue, not too short but not too long. I had to say it was a perfect length. The top of the dress was stylized into a graceful bow and the bottom spread widely. It was the cutest dress I'd ever seen so far. I picked it up, tried it on me and looked in the mirror.

"Hey! How does it look?"

April came out, spun around. Whoa, she looked gorgeous more than I had ever seen.

"April, you've got to buy that dress, now." - I said.

"Really?" She looked at her reflection in the mirror. "You're right, June."

"Have I ever been wrong?" I laughed.

"So, Are you going to try that dress?"

"What? Oh, this?" I said, remembered the blue dress in my hand  "I don't know. I have no intention to...."

"Come on! I want to see my best friend in that lovely dress. Go, go, June!"

She said loudly and pushed me to the changing room.

Niall's POV

I followed the instruction of Ellen. The boys were made me to go alone and bought a present for Tina since her birthday was near. I didn't know why these weirdos just kept forcing me to do that but It was so annoying. I had told them tons of time that I didn't like Tina but they seemed to think I lied. I wished the girl showed up at the front door that day had been June, not Tina.

Speak of June, she was really strange recently. It was like she was trying to stay away from me and didn't want to talk to me. Everytime I tried to catch up with her, she found an excuse to leave. I had spent lots of time to think if I had done something wrong and made June hated me but It was hopeless. I couldn't remember anything.

I sighed and turned in a small street. Ellen said this street had many fabulous shops. I hoped I was gonna find something for Tina. I kept walking with my hoodie on. I didn't want anybody to see me here. Not today, I was kinda not in the good mood. Stopped in front of a dress shop, my eyes opened widely as I saw her. My guitar girl was wearing a beautiful dress. She looked amazing and I didn't think I could take my eyes off her, not talking about moving. Differ from what she used to wear, that blue dress made June looked like a Princess. She was smiling with her reflection in the mirror and said something to the girl next to her, whom I realized was April. She didn't see me because she was turning her back but April did. She was surprised to see me outside and waved at me.

June's POV

"Niall is here." April mumbled, turned around to wave at somebody outside. I quickly dropped my smile as I heard his name.

"Whattt?" I turned my head and I saw him, wearing simple clothes (not pyjamas and baggy T-shirt like I used to see him in "Banana Zone").

"No, no, no. This is not good. This is bad. This is really really bad." I though to myself.

"He can't see me like this." I spoke to April.

"What? Don't be ridiculous like that. You look like a Princess now. Besides, you can't hide anymore. He's already seen you. - She smirked and patted my head.

The bell of the shop rang when Niall walked in. My hand was full of sweat and I felt a bad cold running inside me. I had never worn anything like this before. "Look like a Princess? No, April was wrong. I look like an idiot."

"Hello!" I heard his familiar voice behind me.

"Good evening!" April said  "It's great to see you here. Are you having an intention of buying yourself a dress too?"

"Maybe."  He laughed. "Any suggestion?"

"Pink might go fit with your eyes." April joked.

"I will consider." He said. "Whoa!! You guys look amazing. Never seen you wearing like this in "Banana Zone"."

"Niall, we got uniform when we're in "Holiday", remember?" April said and walked to the changing room to take off the pink dress.

Niall and I were alone in the shop. I couldn't stop myself from feeling stupid and I just wanted to get out of this dress and wear my own clothes. Casual clothes, with no bow or spread bottom.

"Hey! You look great in that dress."

Niall ran his fingers through his hair and smiled awkwardly.

"Thank you!" I said, tried to be normal, not blushing like crazy. 

"You should buy it."

"It's too expensive." I looked down at the price. "It'll take my whole month salary. If I buy it and have to skip breakfast for long, I'll blame it on you, Mr.Horan."

:No you won't. I was trying to help". He pretended to be hurt and burst into laugh. The air suddenly became friendly and comfortable like It used to be.

"So, where are you going?" I asked.

"Uhmm... The boys made me go and find a gift for Tina's birthday." He said and by somehow, I thought he had just emphasized the part "The boys made me".

"Oh, have you bought anything?"

"No. It was so hard. I don't know what to buy."

"Well, the boys are very cruel, right?" - I tried to joke about it to forget the fact the he was here to buy gift for his girlfriend "Let a guy alone in a gift-world."

He nodded and smiled a bit.

"I always say these lads are the relative of Cruella Devil or Santa."

"Yeah! I agree about that." - I said.

"Why're you guys laughing? Making fun of me?" April walked out, raised her eyebrows.

"Maybe!" We both said at the same time.

April paid for her dress while I changed my clothes and gave the dress back to the saleman.

"You don't buy that?" - April asked.

"Naww. Where am I gonna wear it to?" I shruged and noticed a strange look from Niall when I said that.

"Oh, I have to pick up my mom from her school. She just texted me that Daddy is busy at work and she doesn't have car. Sorry Niall, I can't help you. But June will."

April pointed at me.

"Help what?" I asked surprisingly.

"I have just promised to go and help Niall pick a gift for Tina but now my hands are tied."

I gave a few moments of hestitation. I really wanted to go with him but to buy gift for his girlfriend, it was so difficult and too much for my heart.

"It's okay. I can go alone. Don't worry!"

April pushed me with her elbows as Niall said goodbye and walked out of the shop.

"What's the matter with you? Don't let Niall think you hate him. Follow him now!"

I quickly ran outside and saw Niall. He stopped in front of a small shop, picked up some simple bracelets and put it down. Once again, he ran his fingers through his hair in hopelessness and shook his head.

"If I were you, I wouldn't choose that for Tina. She loves something sparkle."

He turned around and gave me a seductive baby smile, breathed out in relief.

"Thank you for going with me! I have just thought I'm gonna buy some food instead of gift."

I laughed.

"Come on! I think there's a way more better shop this way."

"Gosh, June. You speak it too loud." - He laughed when the saleman looked annoyedly at both of us.

I didn't know exactly how I felt inside but I was very happy and comfortable when I was next to Niall. Maybe I shouldn't have taken everything too serious. I guessed to me now, it was great to be his normal friend. It was gonna be okay.
