CHAPTER 13

Niall's POV

I heard whisper and giggle, them I heard somebody called my name.

''Niall, wake upppp!!!''

I was so tired and my body felt so heavy, like somebody had put a big rock in my stomach. I got a headache and all I wanted to do was laying in my bed for the rest of the day.

All last night, I barely slept. Not until very early this morning did I caught my sleep in a very tired and uncomfortable way. My head was filled with thoughts, sorrow and specially, June. Everytime I closed my eyes, the picture of June crying appeared in my mind. I had made her sad, I had made the girl I liked cried. For whole my life, I'd never felt like this before. June was like an exception, always made me feel different in many ways, many sides.

''Niall, wake up!!'' That voice called me one more time.

Slowly and lazily, I opened my eyes and saw my room, looked like it was spinning around and full of people. Standing next to my bed was Louis, Liam and Zayn. Harry and April were cuddling with each other on my own couch while Danielle, Perrie and Eleanor were picking something from my wardrobe. No sign of June. Where was she?

''Guys, what're you doing in my room?'' I asked them while rubbing my eyes. My voice was so husky. With all my attempt, I managed to ignore the headache was killing me in my head.

''Come on! We'r late!'' Louis said, clapped his hands in excitement.

''Late for what? Can I just skip all the plan today? I'm kinda tired.'' I said, laid back on my pillow but unfortunately, Liam seemed disagreed with that. He quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me up.

''Don't you remember? You had promised with Tina you'll sing with her on her birthday. She has just called and said you guys will practice at 8am.''

I moaned in tiredness and got up. Great, another thing to do. Why on earth did I say ''Yes''?

''Okay. I'm up. But what're you late for?'' I asked while trying to brush my messy hair with fingers. It was impossible and Danielle, as thoughtful as always, handed me a brush.

''We'll go to the airport and pick up my cousin, Matt. You remeber him?''

I nodded, still had a little confuse.

''Why does he come? Any special reason?''

''You know, he wants to visit us. Besides, I think Matt and June will be a perfect couple, right guys?''

Everyone in the room nodded. I was frozen. They was trying to make Matt and June a couple? I had met Matt once. He was tall and handsome, good at many things and absolutely more muscular than me. No, this wasn't going to happen.

''Niall, are you okay?'' Eleanor waved her hand in front of me.

''Yeah. I'm fine. I'm going to change my clothes.''

''Good, be hurry or you'll late.'' Liam said ''Let's go downstairs.''

Everyone started leaving my room except for April. She whispered something in Harry's ear and he nodded.

''What's wrong?'' I asked her. My heart still felt like burning after what I just heard and I just wanted to be alone.

''You know, Niall.'' She said, seemed confused with words ''June came home last night and she was really sad.''

I was about to say something but April shook her head.

''I know everything, Niall. She doesn't have to tell me detail but I can guess. As your friend, I just want to say you have to do what you have to. And fast before, you know, somebody else does.''

I was surprised. April's voice was soft, like when my Mom advised me something. She patted my shoulder and smiled.

''Don't worry. I won't tell anybody.'' Like a mind-reader, April had found out exactly what was going on in my mind.

''Thank you, April.'' I said, tried hard to show her my grateful. ''You're a really good friend.''

''Just remember what I said, okay?'' She winked and smiled one more time before walking out.

I was alone in my room, confused and didn't know what to think, not talking about what to do.

''April was right, Niall James Horan. If you don't ask her out soon, you'll lose her'' I talked firmly to the reflection of myself in the mirror and suddenly felt confident. It was like somebody had just life the dard cloud away from my beautiful sky.
