Love Interest: Patrick Kane (Married)

Any Children: Patrick and Vanessa are expecting their first child together in early March 2021!

Backstory: Vanessa has always loved music, throughout her grade school through her high school years Vanessa was very active in choir, and as she grew older invested more time in songwriting. She is classically trained and did study classical vocal music in college, and has done a variety of classical recitals and recordings. However, after graduating she chose to pursue music in the popular genre, and in 2010 became the national anthem singer for the Chicago Blackhawks. Patrick Kane took quite a liking to her and eventually had a security guard give Vanessa his number. Vanessa and Patrick ended up becoming great friends, and by the start of the 2011-2012 hockey season, Vanessa was known and loved by Blackhawks fans not only as their national anthem singer, but also as the girlfriend of Patrick Kane. At the end of the '11-'12 season Vanessa released her first big single, "Mean" and left her position with the Blackhawks to focus on her professional music career, although she always makes time to perform the national anthems at Blackhawks games a couple of times per year. In 2016, after 5 years of dating, Patrick proposed to Vanessa and the two married in 2017. As of right now, Vanessa has recently released her hit single "Style" and is 3 months pregnant with her and Patrick's first child together.
