Megan's pov

i sit in the bathroom waiting for my timer to go off, i haven't been feeling to well and i decided i should take a pregnancy test.

my alarm comes off and i get up, my hands shaking, i pick up the test and there's 2 pink lines, i start crying.

for 2 reasons, i was happy that i was gonna be a mom, but a lot of me was upset that i was pregnant, i wasn't ready to be a mom, but i wasn't gonna abort it.

i start figuring out how i was gonna tell my dad, i wasn't worried about Connor, but i was for sure knowing my dad wasn't gonna be to happy.

i decided the right way to tell Connor, i head to the store and grab a bag of peas, i had a perfect way but unique way to tell.

i head back home and see connor was there, i put the dry peas on the counter and go up stairs and stuff the rest i. my pocket

i go downstairs and i open the bag of peas and grab one little dry pea, i go sit beside Connor and i pause the show.

"open my hand" i smile, he opens it and sees a pea "what?" he asked confused, i bit my lip "that's how small your baby is right now" i grin.

at first he was really confused but than his eyes widen "no..." he says but grinning, i smile and nod, he pulls me closer and kisses my forehead and grin "i'm so happy" he says excited.

"how are we gonna tell my father?" i ask pulling away now nervous "we'll find out" he says rubbing my back

later that night i tell my dad to come over for dinner, my dad was THE Wayne Gretzky, i loved my dad don't get me wrong, but he was always hard on me.

i start thinking of how i was gonna tell him, just straight up tell him? Connor was in the kitchen making dinner as there was a knock on the door "come in!" i yell knowing it's my dad.

he walks in and i get up, i give my dad a huge hug "woah, u okay?" he chuckles, i smile not answering.

Connor comes from the kitchen and we both sit down "dad we need to talk" i say grabbing his hand and sitting him down.

"today i just found out.. i'm.." i look at him "pregnant" i finished, his eyes widen, his face is starting to go red.

"your both to young!" he starts "Connors always away!" he adds "sir i'm-" "no! your both young, u can't support a child!.. either of u!" he yells.

he storms out and slams the door, a tear goes down my face as i look at Connor, his face pale "i knew this wasn't-" "no, i'm going to be here for u and our baby, i don't care what the team says i don't care what my parents say i don't care what your dad says, i'm going to be here to fully support our child wether i need to miss a day or two i'm gonna be here" he grabs my hands

"because i love you Meagan" he smiles a tear in his eye, he pulls me close and i hug him tightly.

after a hour goes by i hear my door open and shut, i look up still on Connors chest, it was my dad

"look.." he says looking at me sitting on the couch "your my daughter, and i love you, but i just know your both not ready for a kid-" "sir, i told her, id miss as many games i need to, to fully support my child" Connors steps in.

"i'm ready, i'm ready to be a father" he smiles looking at me, my dad nods "are u?" he asked looking at me, i look at Connor "i'm ready to be a mom" i smile

"i fully support it" he smiles

we get up and we go have dinner
