Author's pov

Everything is silent, as if it isn't even alive, just like a ghost street that only emerges in the mid-night and will vanish when the first sunlight strikes down in the morning, only the sound of rustling leaves in the breeze could be heard. On this lonely night a car was passing down through the street, wrapped up in their talks when suddenly they saw someone lying on the road like a limp body, they abruptly stopped their car.

"Who on earth that could be?" said the man shockingly

"Let's go and check" said the woman showing concern about him

They both stepped out of the car and runs towards him to check whether he's alive or not. As the man turned his body to see his face, he attacked him. He bite his neck with his large fangs sucked every drop of blood from his body leaving him like a corpse.

"Who...who..are.. you" the woman said who was scared to death, her eyes widened, face turned white, her palms were sweaty and in order to safe her life she ran she ran as fast as she could because except this there was no other way to safe herself. But she didn't knew he wasn't any normal human being and there was not even a single chance she could disappear. As she was running away he saw her and in a blink of an eye he was in front of her.

"You really thought darling you could escape?" he said lifting her chin

"Please don't kill me, I beg you I haven't done anything I don't even know you"

"That's why it is so amusing to play with you" he said biting her neck sucking the life out of her

He brushed his thumb over his lips to clean the leftover blood and then ran from there before anyone could notice what happened here.

LATER

"SEAN VALON!! What the hell did you do today" shouted Aurora as she bashed into the room

"What happened borge? why are you shouting at my brother" questioned Amara

"Why? You don't know what your dear twin has done today even after giving so many warnings he still murdered two innocent people, why? because he love playing with them?!" howled Aurora

"Don't you dare speak in that tone with my sister" yelled Sean as he entered

"Back off mister, today you will listen and i will speak! You very well know the blame of killing those people will straight led to the chances of increasing war with the silver dawn pack. Tomorrow morning when police will start their investigation they'll again think it is an animal attack and will start hunting for them"

"What have you done!" growls Cillion and smashed Sean against the wall with his strength. He kept punching him in face as he was his punching bag but Sean grabs him with his neck and smash his head on the wall.

Suddenly a sharp pain acrosses their mind and they both collapses on the ground.

"Amara stop it! Stop using your powers, it's hurting like hell" said Sean while crying in pain.

"Who told you to pull a stunt like that! After the death of our parents we're responsible for each other but you're making things worse for me" said Amara breathing heavily increasing the intensity of pain in their minds

"Calm down Amara! You'll kill both of them" said Aurora in a high pitch tone thus breaking the contact of her powers.

"Your brother will have to pay for it, you blood suckers be ready for the upcoming war" howled Cillion as he walked out from there giving them a deadly look.

"Now you're happy? The consequences of your actions will affect the whole clan but you'll not be spared" said Aurora in an angry voice,  grabbing him with his collar and pushing him against the wall

"Yeah this girl will make me suffer who couldn't even find his father's killer" scoffs Sean

"This has nothing to do with my father! Don't you dare to bring him in this" shouted Aurora snapping his neck.

"Amara pick him up and lock him in the dungeons. He'll stay there for 30 days and nothing will be given to him except one drop of blood after every 3 days and i know he's your twin you'll also feel the suffering but he has to pay for it" said Aurora in a low voice to which Amara nods.

A lethal aura was developed in the house after this incident because tomorrow police will start their investigation and already in the last month about 50 cases of animal attacks have been found but they know the reality behind this every time they made up a cover story and this time also they have to do it as they can't bear the truth to come out. The Thrix they had developed 1000 years back is what keeping them safe. Between all of this Aurora was lost somewhere, she was sitting beside the river it was her favourite spot whenever she wanted an escape from the real world she'll come here. Aurora was like a living dead corpse, she forgot how to live the day she lost her father or the day he was murdered and till now she couldn't find his killer and this became the one and only motive of her life.

"Why life couldn't be simple, like a normal human being living in a small house made with warmth and love of a family, why I've to be like this?" Aurora speaks to herself looking into the river.

"Aurora, the madam is calling you" said Emily the maid of the house and the only human being between them protected with the necklace given by Agnes.

"Oh yes I'm coming, Agnes told me to come visit i forgot" said Aurora snapping back to reality.

Aurora immediately got up and runs to her room because Agnes doesn't like to wait for anyone and everyone knows how hot headed she is.

"I'm here" said Aurora while knocking at the door

"Where were you, you are 15mins late" questioned Agnes

"I'm sorry, just lost the track of time"

"I've something important to discuss, the direction of the moon and sun is changing and its strange, this is impossible" said Agnes

"What are you saying? What do you mean by changing direction" questioned Aurora

"This change in direction was made 1000 years back when first vampire was originated in other words when Ambrogio was converted into a full fledged vampire and the same conditions are forming now means again the history is going to change again  true love will be sacrificed" told Agnes

"Nothing will happen Agnes I'll prevent it from happening"

"Aurora you can't change one's destiny and if you try to change, it would be a dead end for you"

"You worry too much, we'll see what will happen in future and also it's midnight you should sleep you're not a vampire who are immune to sleep"

"But I'm immortal darling why you forget"

"Okay I don't have enough time to indulge with you in this, already tomorrow is going to be a hectic day I've to handle many things firstly I've to visit the silver dawn pack and make a peace settlement and then the police investigation"

"Yeah I know what happened today, don't worry everything will work out and yes i forgot to inform you your mom is coming back tomorrow"

"Finally, some good news" sighs  Aurora

"And once again Aurora my prophecy is never wrong keep this in mind" said Agnes to which Aurora nods.

As  Aurora was going towards her room she heard some noise, a noise of crying and it was coming from downstairs. She was confused who could that be at this hour, she followed the noise and she was stunned...

"Amara? Why are you crying" asked Aurora in a concerned voice as she sits beside her

"I can't see Sean suffering like this please Aurora forgive him he'll never do a thing like this, it hurts me to see him like this" said Amara while sobbing. Amara pulled her into a long hug rubbing her back and said

"Listen i know it's not easy for you but your brother need to learn his lesson, the things he had done is affecting the whole clan even if it was limited to me i never would have make him suffer but this is about everyone, you have to be strong not for me but atleast for your brother"

"Yes i'll manage, he is responsible for his actions" said Amara in a low voice

"That's my girl, now go and rest tomorrow will be a long day"

"Yeah you too"

 Everyone gone to their respective rooms but something was going on in the mind of Agnes, she suspected something and now this silent night was turned into the silence before the storm.
