"State your names for the record, please." Captain America asked the two brothers as they sat across from the Avengers in the conference room of the complex. 

Tommy leaned forward, his hands cuffed to the table in power dampening cuffs, a smirk on his face. "Hydra did not give us actual names beyond our experimentation codenames." He leaned backwards as best he could, eyeing the Avengers coolly. 

"And what were those codenames?" Black Widow asked, eyes narrowed slightly at the brothers. 

"I am Speed, and my brother is Wiccan." Tommy shrugged when he got strange looks. "Like I said, they are codenames."

"Are you two actually brothers?" War Machine asked. 

Billy scoffed at the same time his brother snorted. "We have the same face, what do you think?"

Quicksilver looked at the young teens before him. "How come my sister and I never saw nor heard of you while we were at Hydra?"

Tommy rolled his eyes slightly, a smirk on his face. "Are you upset that Hydra did not tell you everything?" Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch stayed silent. "You two clearly were not the only experiment they were working on. Why does it still seem to shock you that you had no knowledge of us?"

It was Quicksilver's turn to snort and roll his eyes. "We are surprised because I'm pretty sure we would've noticed a bunch of children running around the Hydra base." Billy and Tommy burst out into a fit of giggles, annoying Quicksilver and agitating the rest of the Avengers. "What? What is so funny?"

The two teen brothers continued to giggle, looking at each other and laughing harder which only angered the adults, all except Vision, who simply looked at the brothers. He floated closer to them, previously having been at the back of the gathering of Avengers. Vision  stood between Black Widow and Captain America, the two who were seated across from the brothers. "While we were at the Hydra base in Sokovia, I was able to gain access to their files before being shut down by Wiccan here - "

"How do you know it wasn't me?" Tommy grinned. 

Vision stared at him blankly. "I had access to the files, I know your abilities. They are twin brothers, given the names Wiccan and Speed based on their mutant abilities. They are physically and mentally fifteen years old but have only existed for three years."

"What?! How is that possible?" Sam cried out, looking at the brothers before the team. 

"They were force grown in the Hydra lab, aged five years for every year they existed." Vision explained. "They were only...woken up six months ago."

The Avengers sat in stunned silence, staring at the twin brothers before them, who were smirking back. Bruce looked at the brothers, an unsure expression on his face. "Where did they get the genetic material to make them? They had to have some sort of source material, you can't just create humans - or mutants - out of thin air. Besides, you said they were force grown, meaning they started out as embryos, correct?"

Vision nodded. "That is correct."

Quicksilver tilted his head to the side. "Did they use some of the people who did not survive  the experiments genetics?"

Vision looked away. "They...Hydra used someone from the experiments as the genetic base for the twins, yes, however...they did not perish during the experiments."

Natasha caught his wording. "Oh, my gosh. You're saying one of the Maximoffs are the source material?" 

"Yes, more precisely...Scarlet Witch." Vision looked at the young woman as he spoke. "During one of the experiments, they...took some of your reproductive materials and exposed them to the Loki's Scepter. Through this exposure, the...eggs became fertilized and were then put in incubators to be force grown into the twins you see before you."

Tony swallowed thickly. "So, in short, Scarlet Witch is their mother and the gem in your forehead is the father?"

"Putting it simply, yes." Vision concluded. 

Everyone looked at the twins before them, who, for once, looked vaguely uncomfortable and vulnerable. Tommy gave the Avengers a wobbly smirk. "We told you we did not volunteer for Hydra."

"Did you...did you know about Wanda being your mother?" Natasha asked, eyeing the other female Avenger through the corner of her eyes. Scarlet Witch looked as if she were going to be sick. 

Billy nodded. "Yes, Hydra never hid that fact from us, always rubbing it in our faces that our mother was the great Scarlet Witch. We did not know about the Vision being our father, however. At least, I didn't. And I doubt Speed here did, either."

Tommy glared at his twin. "How do you know?"

"Please, it's you." Billy stuck his tongue out. Tommy kicked his brother under the table and Billy yelped. "Jerk."

"Bitch." Tommy retorted, kicking his brother again. 

"Stop kicking me!" Billy glared, kicking back. 

"Make me. Oh, wait, you can't." Tommy smirked, kicking once more.

"Like hell I can't." Billy replied, diving at his brother and knocking them both out of their chairs. They wrestled on the floor for a few seconds, very awkwardly as their hands were still cuffed together by the power dampeners, but they managed to get a few blows in each. 

"Stop it!" Scarlet Witch cried out, lifting the twins apart with her red mist. She floated them in the air a few feet away from the other, staring at them as they shot daggers at their twin. 

Tommy stuck his tongue out. "Asshat."

"Knockoff." Billy spoke smugly.

"Take that back!"

"No." 

Tommy and Billy turned when Scarlet Witch cleared her throat. She stared sternly at them. "Both of you, stop fighting. Behave yourselves and be kind to your brother, you never know when you might lose him."

The brothers replied at the same time. 

"Okay, mom."

"Is that a threat?"

Scarlet Witch wasn't sure which one to reply to first so she just blinked in shock, accidentally dropping the boys on the ground. 

"Oof." 

Tony turned to Bruce. "We need to run some tests, find out what they are capable of."

Bruce nodded. "How can we do that safely without taking the power dampeners off?"

Both of them turned to look at Scarlet Witch before eyeing each other, silently knowing what the other was getting at. 

Wanda would keep her new found children in line...right?

And I am back! I know this was sort of short-ish but I wanted to end it here and leave the next part in another update, as I have a lot of drama still planned for this book. I hope you enjoyed it ((for those of you still around))
