"Skin color isn't a choice."
-OC's have friends of color. One night as they're driving home, the car gets pulled over. OCs are in the passenger seat and the police ask their friend to step out. Well, while the friend is grabbing his car papers from the car an officer shoots them thinking it's a gun. OCs witness this and are completely heartbroken and angry.

"Guns kill kids."
-OC's are sitting in class during school. When they hear that their school is going into lockdown. They're dead silent as gunshots and cries echo through the building. OCs are shot while trying to protect other classmates but surprisingly they live.

"Not being straight, shouldn't be a death sentence."
-OC's aren't straight and they're proud of that. They go to pride, wear things to represent their sexuality and/or gender. One night in June, OCs are walking home from pride. They're decked out in rainbows and glitter. A few men decide to beat the cis-het into them; leaving them bloody and bruised.

"No, I wasn't drinking. Why does it matter what I was wearing?"
-OC's are at a highschool party. They're just having fun with their classmates and friends. While at the party, someone spikes their drink and brings them to a bedroom or bathroom to assault them. When OCs recover from the drug, they're full of trauma and they feel disgusted.

"You're not supposed to do this!"
-In America, there is a law; where police officers can sexually assault you if you're in their custody and they will not be prosecuted for it. OC's are on their way home when they're pulled over/stopped by a cop. OC's get picked up for something stupid (EX; Being out past city curfew, a tail light being broken, etc) and they're brought to the station. Once there, they're assaulted by the officer.

"That's disgusting, I'm scared for my life."
-There is a law where you can kill a member of LGBT+ if they're flirting with you, and it is seen as self defence. OC's are out one night, just being teenagers. They seen an attractive person of the same gender and go over to shoot their shot. Well, this person pulls a gun and aims it at OC because they're offended and disgusted.
