Newt and I get up to go get some food. It had been a very eventful day. Minho was still trying to seperate us. And we couldn't let that happen.
He was my everything.
He made me happier.
He made me feel loved.
We walk to the dining hall in silence holding hands. I kiss his cheek.
"I love you." Newt says.
"I love you more Newt." I say.
He just smiles and we reach the door.
He holds it open for me like a gentleman and I go in. I'm thankful that he holds it open due to my crutches. He catches up and we go to Frypan to get our food like always.
"Hey Fry." I say.
"Hey! How is it going?" He asks.
"Broke an ankle." I say.
"How?" Frypan asks shocked.
Newt had my plate.
"I was running in heels. Not a smart idea. Especially because the Glade is just so uneven." I explain.
"You've got that right. Be careful. I'm sure Newt would love his girlfriend to be in one piece." Frypan says.
I laugh and Frypan puts food on both of the plates that Newt is holding.
We go over to the table and I start to eat, everyone's stares were burning into me.
"Guys, what's up?" I ask.
"Why are you on crutches?" They ask.
"Broke my ankle." I say.
"How?" They ask.
"Listen, I don't wanna talk about it." I say.
"Just tell us." Teresa begs.
"No." I say.
"Please." She begs.
"Listen, (Y/N) said no. No means no. So leave her alone. She doesn't wanna talk about it so you should respect that. Stop trying to pry into her life. If she doesn't wanna say something she doesn't have to." Newt snaps.
"I was just curious. She's my friend. So she should tell me." Teresa says.
"She doesn't have to tell you anything actually. So stop. Teresa, you're really annoying." Newt says.
"Newt-" Teresa starts.
"No, I don't wanna hear from you. I'm done. Just shut up already please. I'm done having this conversation." Newt says.
I lean my head on his shoulder and his arm automatically wraps around my waist. I smile and he kisses myle on the forehead.
I'm in love with him. The way he smiles, the way he kisses me, the way he talks. Everything. I'm in love.
And I'm in love with Newt.
"I love you." I say.
"I love you too." Newt says.
"I love you more than anything Newt. I couldn't stand to be without you. I love you so much it hurts and I don't know why. But I wanna spend forever with you. Because I love you that much." I say.
"I live you too much to explain and I can see myself with you for years and years to come. I couldn't imagine life without you. You've made me so happy and I can't let you go. I love you." Newt says smiling and he kisses me softly but quickly so we don't bother anyone around us.
I could live like this forever.
