Person A is engaged. The boy/girl they're engaged to is great, they've known them since they were a child, both of their parents being friends, which was how the two met, and Person A love them, really. They did. They were the sweetest person A's ever known.
Though, once the two got engaged that... Kind of changed.
Their fiancé would leave early, stop by late, and when A got to be with them, they weren't as loving as they used to be. And when they were both alone... Well, that was a story for a different time.

One day, Person A is walking in Central Park, hand in hand with their fiancé, just listening to the sound of nature... And yelling newsies that are scattered about the city. They can't help but pay more attention to them, though, than what their fiancé's talking about, and when Person B, one of the newsies, turn, eyes meeting A's, they both froze. Something about them was just... Mesmerizing. The dirt smudged all over B's face and clothes and ink stained hands didn't even matter, it was like you two were the only ones in that moment.
Then, A feels a hand wrap around their wrist and tug, their fiancé pulling them along, giving them questionable looks for the previous actions.
