- Chapter 79 - Double Dates to Dancing -

Friendly banter had been happening between Mush and Blink for a few minutes.

The two had been dragged into a double date because neither could say no to Tommy boy's puppy eyes and he had wanted to go on a double date with a couple.

Even though Mush and Blink weren't a couple, everyone was painfully aware that they were pinning, hard.

And Finch and Tommy boy had ditched them, so here they are.

Sitting in a park, Mush hanging off of a tree, upside down.

Blink, sitting criss cross on the ground, sipping his coffee.

"You really did that?" Mush asks, an eyebrow raised.

Or, more so lowered, because he's upside down.

Blink nods.

"I don't know what fills your head." Mush mutters, his eyebrows furrowed.

Blink stares at the foam coffee cup in his hand. "I'm pretty sure you're the only thing that fills my head these days, but go on." He comments, going to drink from his coffee again.

Mush falls out of the tree.

Blink shoots up, his eyes wide.

He sits down next to Mush. "Oh my God, are you okay?" Blink asks quickly. "Are you hurt?" He questions, checking the smaller boy over from injuries.

Mush's face was bright red and his eyes were a bit wide. "Nope." He forces out. "Just my ego."

Blink chuckles softly. "You've been hanging with Al and Race, without JoJo, haven't you?" He asks.

"Wow," Mush looks up at him, getting himself ready to sit up. "You're good."

Blink chuckles. "I try."

Mush sits himself up, lifting his head up and coming face to face with Blink.

Their faces were about a centimeter apart, if not less than that.

Mush blushes profusely, while Blink blushes a little bit.

Blink smirks. "My gosh, you're so cute." He comments.

Mush blushes more, backing himself up so he wasn't as close to Blink.

Blink pouts a bit, but goes with it.

They stay silent for a minute.

"Mushy," Blink whines softly. "I have a problem." He says.

Mush looks up at him, a bit concerned.

"My hands are cold," the dirty blonde haired boy holds up his hands. "I need yours to be with mine to warm them up."

Mush blushes. This is definitely flirting.

Blink uses puppy eyes, which Mush didn't even know he could do.

He figured he should really just expect anything from Blink at this point and never, ever, underestimate him.

Mush reaches his left hand out for Blink, feeling sparks shoot up his body when Blink held his hand in both of his hands.

"Wow," Blink awes, staring at their hands. "Your hands are so soft and small. They fit perfectly in mine." He states.

Mush blushes again. "You've only touched one of mine..." he responds quietly.

Blink gently takes Mush's other hand, pulling it slightly so it was also in between his two hands.

He grins up at Mush. "I stand by my original statement." He tells him.

Mush blushes more, looking away form the slightly older boy.

They stayed like that for a few minutes.

Mush still felt sparks erupting off of his hands even though they had been being held by Blink's for a few minutes now.

Blink gently caresses the back of Mush's hands.

Mush turns his head slightly towards him, a small smile tugging on his lips.

Blink looks up at him. "Aw!" He exclaims. "Keep smiling like that! It's so cute!" He tells him.

Mush blushes more, looking away again.

He felt Blink drop his hands.

His head was gently turned by Blink, his hand under Mush's chin.

Mush was met with his face only about a centimeter or two away from Mush's again, causing him to blush more.

However, he couldn't turn his head to look away in embarrassment due to Blink's hand gently holding his chin.

"Don't look away." Blink tells him softly. "I think it's really cute," he whispers, smiling softly.

"You're so mushy." Mush giggles slightly.

"What can I say? You make me unbelievably happy and gushy because of your adorableness." Blink responds with a small smile, a bit of blush forming on his cheeks.

The blush already on Mush's face deepens. "You're such a sap." He teases.

Blink chuckles softly. "Only for you." He responds quietly.

Mush's eyes flickered down to Blink's lips.

Blink seemed to notice, because one silent agreement between the two lead to Blink's left hand culling Mush's cheek and his right hand behind Mush's head, them kissing.

They pull away after a moment, both of them slightly breathless.

Mush's face was even redder now, and Blink's was redder than it had been, but he was definitely blushing less than Mush.

"Wow..." the younger boy starts softly, trying to process what just happened. "You're a good kisser."

Blink chuckles.

Mush's eyes widen. "Not what I meant!" He exclaims, his hands covering his mouth as he blushes more. "I mean-

"No need to be embarrassed, love." Blink tells Mush, still chuckling softly. "I get what you mean." He winks.

Mush blushes.

Suddenly, the two boys felt pouring rain on them.

They share a look, both of them laughing together.

Mush pulls Blink up, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Dance?" He looks at him expectedly.

Blink nods, shaking his arms around the other boy's waist.

Mush places his arms around Blink's neck.

They sway slowly, Blink humming the tune of a song.

It took Mush a moment, but he got the song tune and started humming song to it.

(A/N, imagine what song you want. I'm not choosing cause I'm #lazy)

After a few minutes, the rain seemed to pick up.

"As much as I love this and it's very romantic," Blink starts with a soft chuckle. "We don't want to get sick or hurt."

Mush nods.

Blink grabs Mush's hand. "I've hear-by kidnapped you and you're not coming to my house." He decides, grinning.

Mush laughs, letting himself get dragged along by Blink.

They run towards Blink's house, hand-in-hand and giggling together.

They were both glad that they let Tommy boy talk them into the double date.
