- Chapter 48 - Elmer Hates Hiccups -

Third Person POV

JoJo looks at his boyfriend.

He had gone silent.

"El..." the slightly older boy starts softly.

Elmer doesn't reply, seeming to be focused on something.

JoJo looks around, not knowing what he was so focused on.

He couldn't find anything.

"Elmer..." he tries again softly. "Elmer Kasprzak." He gently shakes his boyfriend.

His eyebrows furrow. Why isn't he responding to me?

A shake suddenly shoots through Elmer, mainly the top part of his body.

JoJo smirks a bit.

Elmer's face turns bright red.

"Do you have-" JoJo starts smugly.

"Don't you dare." Elmer responds, turning and staring him in the eyes.

JoJo smirks as if to accept the challenge. "Hiccups?" He asks.

Elmer shoots him a glare. "I do no-" he was interrupted by a hiccup.

Elmer turns bright red again, covering his mouth with his hands.

He looks at his boyfriend. "Don't say anything-" he starts, pointing a stern finger at him.

He hiccup again, his face only getting more red.

JoJo chuckles, wrapping his arms around Elmer from behind and pulling him down so he was laying on JoJo on the bunk.

A hiccup escapes Elmer's mouth again.

Elmer turns bright red again.

JoJo chuckles, nuzzling his head into Elmer's neck. "I was really concerned and confused as to why you weren't responding for a second." He mumbles against Elmer's neck. "I realize now."

Elmer turns redder than he already was. "Shut up or I'll leave." He threatens, his voice barely above a whisper.

JoJo chuckles, flipping the two of them and laying down on the just slightly smaller boy, his arms still wrapped around him.

He nuzzles his head in Elmer's neck again. "I think not." He whispers with a smug smirk.

Elmer squirms a bit, JoJo's breath on his neck tickling him a bit, before he hiccups again.

Elmer's face turns a darker shade of red. He digs it into the pillow, cursing life and his boyfriend at the moment.

JoJo chuckles again. "I love you..." he whispers against his boyfriend's neck. "Even when you're hiccuping and ticklish."

Elmer hiccups again. "I hate you- so much." He mutters.

JoJo chuckles. "I deserved that." He responds.

"No, you don't." Elmer whispers, turning over to face JoJo, who was still laying on him, but on his stomach now. "I feel bad now."

JoJo chuckles, pressing a soft kiss to the darker haired boy's lips.

"I love you too." Elmer whispers against JoJo's lips, breaking the kiss.

JoJo chuckles as his lips lingered almost fully on Elmer's. "You're actually adorable." He whispers.

Elmer turns bright red again, trying to hide his face in his hands.

JoJo chuckles, gently, but firmly, pulling Elmer's hands/arms off of his face and pinning them next to his head.

Elmer's face turns a deeper shade of red.

JoJo chuckles. "I love you."

"I love you too," the younger boy responds. "you're a tease."

JoJo laughs, rolling off of Elmer and next to him on the bunk.

Elmer laughs a bit with him.

For anyone who doesn't know, I'm on break for posting everything that isn't 'A Troubled Family' (though after this Sunday, I MIGHT take a break from that), 'Always an Adventure', and One-shots.
This might only last a week or it'll last longer, I don't know.
