"Seriously Katherine ? Never ?" Clara asked as they sat around their lunch table . "No , never " "this is unbelievable!" Clara said as she continued to braid the small strands of hair .

"What's unbelievable?" Smalls asked walking to the table with the other girls . "Katherine's never had her first kiss !" "What ? Really ? But you went out with that guy ! Stephen ! What about then ?" "No , he didn't even hug me " she said . "That's horrible !"

Then as if a shot Sara walked by "what's horrible ? " "Plums has never had her first kiss !" "Okay ! Shout it too the whole school while your at it !" Katherine said beet red .

"Well you know you could always throw a party and you know . Play spin the bottle !" "God ! Smalls that's so juvenile !" Clara said .

"Well , if it isn't Miss Pulitzer" someone said putting his hands on her shoulders .

"Hello Jackson " "It's Jack baby, and don't you forget it " he said as he placed his hands on her cheek .

"I'm not your baby or babe ! Leave me alone " "aw how come sweet cheeks?" He said grabbing the chair near here and sitting next to her .

This had been happening for years ! At lunch they'd say the same thing then fight ! Jack Kelly was the biggest player in school . All the girls had crushes on him and the guys wanted to be him . He was football captain . He often had new arm candy . But for the past 4 years , 5 times a week at lunch Jack Kelly would bother Katherine. Saying things about how he could show her a good time and all or how he could make her feel real good . She would say something , usually a insult , back .

Davey came and sat next to Clara , who was his girlfriend. As well as Darcy and Cruthie who sat with their girlfriends Sara and Smalls .

"I don't know , I mean Mrs . Kelly must have had her first kiss , or did your parents hate each other during sex ?" Katherine said which earned laughs from the group . "Baby ? Why do you do this to me ? " Jack said putting his head in the crook of her neck .

"Get off of me !" She said shoving him back . "Listen babe , I know you don't like showing our love in public but you gotta one day !" "Would you just shrivel up and die already ?" Katherine said .

"We both know you don't mean that honey " Jack said . Katherine rolled her eyes . "Shutup !" She said "baby don't get mad " he said . He then went in to kiss her and she smushed an applesauce in his face .

"Geez , you'll pay for that baby "he said grabbing a napkin and walking off .

"Sorry about him " Davey said . "What's to be sorry for ? You didn't raise him ?" "True " "so don't be sorry " Katherine said wiping the left over sauce off her hands .

Katherine then walked off to her History class .

"Alright class , today you will all be given a partner to make a PowerPoint on an event from history " which made the whole class groan . "And I've chosen your partners for you . Check the back "

Katherine walked off to see the board .

"No ! No !" She said seeing who she was paired with . "So it seems like Mrs. Kelly is working with me huh ?" Jack said coming up behind her . "No !" She said again choosing not to believe that . "But don't worry baby , I've got a biiiiiggggggg bed " he said winking . "Mrs. Hamilton !" Katherine said running to the front . "Can I switch with someone ? Please ? Or do the project alone ?" "I'm sorry Katherine but you can't work alone , and Jack is a great partner , besides your both A students so he'll pull his own weight !" She said putting her coffee mug down .

"Ugh , thank you anyway " she said walking Away , "so your place or mine ?" Jack said when she sat down in her seat . "Ugh , I guess mind " she said packing her bag .

At Katherine's house .

Katherine and Jack walked in . "Dad ? Dad ? Daddy ? I'm home !" Katherine said walking in , Jack behind her .

"Katherine? Dear is that you ?" Joseph Pulitzer said , walking out of his office and into the hall . "Yes Daddy " she said . Joseph then came out and hugged her . "And who are you young man ?" "Oh um , hello sir , I'm Jack Kelly" "Jack Kelly ? By any chance is Roger Kelly your father ?" "Yes sir" "he's a great artist , and you should tell him that The World needs a good artist or two " "will do sir " Jack said . "And not to be rude by why are you here Jack ?" "Katherine and I have a history assignment " "oh , very well than " Joseph said walking back to his office .

Katherine and Jack then walked upstairs to her room . "And here we are " Jack said as soon as they were inside . "And the charm dies " Katherine said walking off and putting her bag on her desk and opening the doors to her private balcony.

She put her hands on the ledge and breathed in the air . Jack put his hands around her waist and was holding onto her from behind .

"Nice view " he said . Katherine didn't push him off . "Kinda , I mean the flowers are nice " she said looking out to the gardens . "And the pool is okay , but sometimes my brother has his friends over " she said and Jack looked at the pool . "And he gardeners always have the leave blowers on in the morning , but other than that it's a nice view " "I wasn't talking about the backyard , I was talking about you and that figure " he said putting his hands around her waist even more , "get off of me !" She said pushing him aside .

She sat on her bed and opened her laptop , pulling out a word document to begin typing on and a PowerPoint . "Bed , I like it " Jack said sitting next to her .

"Really ? " she said annoyed by him .

"Well , about earlier , I'm sorry I smushed applesauce in your face " Katherine said typing . "It's my fault, I'm the one who keep bugging you " "yeah for four years . Why ?" "Why not ?" "Jack !" "So is it true ?" "What ?" Katherine said looking up . "That you've never had your first kiss ?" "Can we not being that up " "why not ? You and I are both bored out of our minds so " "okay yes !
