Jack was sitting in his director's chair and absolutely hating his casting choices . Why on earth did he put his best friend and girlfriend as lovers ?

"Play back ! Top of act one ! Queenie was a blonde ! Go !" Jack called .

"Play back " the sound kid said and you heard the music start .

Katherine's legs where first to appear on the all black stage . Her dress was super short .

Slowly her figure appeared.

"Queenie was a blonde,

And she danced twice a day in Vaudeville." Katherine began to sing and dance .

She would kill twice a day in Vaudeville." She said putting up a fake gun .

And her face was a tinted mask of snow.

Her legs were built to drive men mad." She sang putting on leg up in the splits .

She would skid!" She then walked back to the far side of the stage , and the male ensamble came out . They all watched her walk away , with a spotlight on her rear .

And her face was a tinted mask of snow." The men sang as Katherine struck a pose.

Her legs were built to drive men..." Katherine sang all the men being taken in by her voice .

"Mad!" They men sang and fell to their feet .

There were far too many of them!" Katherine said and put her fingers on the Chins of some of them .

Jack made a note to yell at the boys on the right for not acting turned on enough .

"She never got tired of the men she desired.
She never inquired of the men she desired." The boys sang .

Three is better;" Katherine sang and one by one a boy would touch her .

"Four?" They asked her .

"Now, you're knockin' on wood!

So bring me more men!" Katherine moved her hips . Just like Jack taught her .

Who could answer all her wishes," she would slap one boy each time .

So delicous!" She then walked off stage and Davey came in wearing his suit with his tie undone .

Before too long she'd meet a man named Burrs!
A handsome devil with a life like hers!" He sang and slammed the alcohol bottles across the piano .

"A clown,

A clown of some renown!" The girls joined him on stage and out their hands all over him .

He could give 'em hell!
Just one sentimental smirk and the house might yell!" Davey belted out .

"How glorious!" He sang alone .
The the girls and the male ensamble all were on stage and began to laugh behind him .

"Glorious!" He sang again and they all laughed as one .

"Burrs!

Burrs!" The girls sang out with the boys hands wrapped around them .

"Oh yes, they shouted out his name,
Proclaiming he was grand!" Davey sang moving his hands on the girls .

"Burrsie, Burrsie!" The girls screamed

"And yes he played the girly game,
But behind the scenes?" Davey sang

"He was mean and rough!" The girls shrieked .

"He was mean and rough." Davey smirked

"He was made of vile and violent stuff!" The girls all giggled

"He liked 'em tough." Davey chuckled

"Get in his way and he would run you down!" The girls all screeched .

"He was a very scary clown!" Davey sang a Put his red clown nose on .

"He didn't wanna be bad!

Bored.
He was sore.
He was dying for more!" He cried out .

"Where was she?" He asked himself.

"Queenie..."

"That special girl who could send him over the top!"

"One day he'd find her...

Then one day they met!

And fireworks flew." Davey sang .

"Her passion ignited;
She was smitten!" Katherine sang walking on stage and pushing her fake blonde hair back behind her ear .

"His colors shone through;
He'd met his match!" Davey said grabbing her hand

"They knew what to do!" The choir behind them yelled

"I found you!"

They said!" They all sang .

"Now Queenie and Burrs were well-fed!" And the started to make out. Jack sighed and broke his pencil in half .

"For the one thing that they had in common!

"Cut !" Jack screamed . The lights and music stopped .

"Jack ! What is this for ?" She asked him .

"I just couldn't .... God Katherine.... I know as a director I shouldn't bring my emotions into my directing but you have no idea how badly I wished I was Burrs " Jack said moving his hands up and down her sides .

Katherine blushed . "Well , what about Black ? You could always be him ... I mean he does get to kiss me and take off my clothes -"

"I'll talk to Medda " Jack said and they began to kiss again .
