So , my best friend Anna was really upset because she found out that another girl would get to be Ariel in a production of little mermaid (I'm not in it since I'm 16 and the program goes only to 15)

She was beautiful but would never say it. Her name was Johanna-Alessandra .
Her eyes and hair were both a ravenous color . Her hair cascading to her waist. Her bangs were cut to the side at an angle .
When she smiled you could see a tiny chip on her bottom tooth that she had gotten when falling down the stairs when she was little .
If you looked at her nose could see her small button nose with a tiny scar on the side .
In better lighting you could see the blue and purple in her hair , that streaked down in random areas like a hidden colored curtain .
Her eyebrows were thick , and had the so called arch that all wanted . While her eyelashes were black but not that long .
Sometimes if Johanna woke up early you could see how sunken in her cheeks were . And her eyes always seemed to have bags , which meant she had to use her expensive concealer .
But if you took away the makeup and the hair dye , stripped it off and looked down to her soul you would see this joyous spirt .
Her heart was broken but had been stitched back together a handful of times by boys .
Johanna often had a small purple light that was from her . The purple was from royalty .
Johanna's eyes had seen many horrors . From protecting her little brother from her parents harsh words to one another to seeing her cousin burnt .
She could smell the smoke from that night when the house came burning down. More than often she could feel her cousin help her through hard things .
Sometimes if you looked closely at her you could see the small traces of her anxiety and depression... With litters of hope .
Her voice was special, she used it like a siren to attract all the boys she fancied .
She had played a princess a handful of times . And now she was to play a Jewish girl .
Johanna felt a special connection with her newest role . They both were the eldest daughter and had many traditions to up hold.
Even at a young age Johanna had been told to get married by her aunts .
Her father would shush them telling Johanna "you better thank me in your Tony speech "
That's Johanna ... But the real question is ... Who are you ?
