Spot even though he wouldn't admit loved reading he loved history books and corny romance novels he found reading a way to escape from the harsh reality of the world and he often found himself with his face in a book Racetrack Spot's husband knew of Spot's book obsession and often took him to get new books since he flew through them so fast he liked seeing Spot's eyes glow with lust when he reread his favorite part in a book or got to a really good chapter he found it adorable.

"Spot?" Race called out looking for his husband since it was 2:49am and he was exhausted from working all day leaving Spot was alone most of the day he almost gave up when he looked into there bedroom and found a romance novel in-front of his lover's face.

"Spottieeeee" Racer said then finally Spot put the book down and looked up to see Race.

"What?" He said confused often when he was reading he lost track of time.

"It's half past 2 Spot we need to go to sleep" Race said Spot was about to say something but stopped and contemplated "Can I tell you about this book?" He asked.

"Will it get you to go to sleep?" Spot nodded so Race sat down on the bed and nodded his head for Spot to continue.

"okay for a cheesy romance novel it has some good parts like when they kissed under the sunrise in the back of a car or when she wore his clothes to school and attempted to act like him all day it might sound dumb but romance can be nice sometimes. it can be really interesting or really corny but even if it's corny there are some sweet parts."

Race smiled while Spot rambled on about how romance can be really distracting when your upset he truly loved this side of Spot when he put down his tough and mean personality and let the little innocence he had left shine through.

once Spot finished Race said "ready to go to sleep love?" Spot nodded and pulled the blanket over them Race cuddled into his side and put his head on Spot's chest "goodnight Spottie."
