Racetrack was at the races, when he saw his friend Alexandra, a girl who worked for Medda. "Hiya Alex, how ya doin?" She turned around and grinned when she saw Races face. She ran and jumped into his arms "Oh my goodness Race, its been forevah since i saw ya or any of de uddah newsies!" She smiled softly and grabbed his hand. He had been in love with Alex since the day he met her. She just didn't know it yet. He decided that he was going to tell her today. She looked back and said "This is for ya, i used da money I got from Medda. He looked and saw a box with his name on it right at the sidelines. All he had ever wanted. he turned around and wrapped his hands around her waist and hugged her tightly. "Why?! I don't deserve this." She turned away and with a shy smile said "I have loved ya forevah and evah, since I metcha I liked ya. i wanted to give ya this cause ya have always been so sweet and kind ta me, and I love ya so much Racetrack." He looked at her shocked, and then picked her up right there and kissed her. Her fingers tangled in his hair as he smiled at her. "I wanted ta tell ya, but I was noivous." They walked away hand in hand, with the new box waiting for tomorrow.
