Newlywed Struggles [Jumin Han x Reader]

"Mr. Han! I'm from A! Celebrity News! Do you have any comments?"

"Please write about how happy we are in your articles. Watch as I love this beautiful woman forever. I truly love my wife. Thank you," Jumin replied to the reporter with his usual deep voice, and smiled lightly down at you. You kept averting your gaze elsewhere to avoid the camera flashes and followed his lead.

The security helped clear the stampede of reporters for a scoop, which made passing by easier. You then noticed all the RFA Members from afar and waved at them.

"[Name]!" Yoosung waved back happily and waited for both of you to come closer. When you came closer, he revealed the small bouquet of flowers he brought. "Here!" he said proudly, but was quickly embarrassed. "I have a feeling this isn't as good compared to the others, here..."

Jumin inspected it, giving it a small glare. "[Name] deserves better then this. How can you give something like that to my wife?" he asked Yoosung.

Yoosung gave a small pout, "I know, I'm sorry..." he said in defeat and sighed deeply. You smiled lightly, getting the bouquet of flowers from his hands. "I think it's nice, Yoosung... You got dandelions, my favourite," you gave him a warm smile, trying to cheer him up.

"R-Really?" Yoosung's eyes widen and nodded, grinning once again. "I'm glad."

"Oh? Really?" Jumin noticed the hidden dandelions under the roses. "I didn't notice... My apologies," he said, feeling slightly ashamed.

You chuckled lightly and held his hand gently. "It's okay, Jumin. Don't be too hard on yourself."

He simply nodded and payed attention to Jaehee. "Assistant Kang, how's Elizabeth The Third?"

"I took care of her, don't worry," Jaehee reassured him and smiled towards you. "Hello, [Name]. I assume everything went well?"

You nodded, "Of course. Jumin's been quite romantic the past week," you admitted to her.

Zen crossed his arms and looked at you. "You're not lying, [Name], right?"

"Of course, not! Why would I?"

"Zen, stop being like this! It's been awhile now, why don't you trust him?" Yoosung looked over him with an irritated look.

"His stupid 'joke' about locking [Name] inside a cage still gets to me," he replied, giving Jumin a glare.

"You're just jealous~" Luciel commented and chuckled lightly.

"All right, I'll say it again," Zen was already furious.

"Zen! You shouldn't—" Jaehee tried to stop him, but it was too late.

"I believe that [Name] deserves someone better. I don't think this pompous jerk deserves someone as amazing as [Name]. You've done so much for him and what does he do in return, [Name]? He locked you up at his penthouse for three days straight!"

"Zen, we've been over this. I agreed to stay until Jumin started feeling better," you replied. "That happened a month ago, so stop being like this."

Jumin had his normal emotionless face staring to Zen's eyes, which made Zen even more mad. "Jeez, I can't talk to this guy. Sometimes, I feel he's not going to change—"

"Zen! Enough," you sighed sadly and held Jumin's hand even tighter. "That's enough, please..." you continued. You remembered he was feeling at times gloomy during the honeymoon, so you didn't want him to feel that way again.

Without saying a word to Zen, Jumin told you that you two were going home. All of the RFA Members were disappointed, since they planned a small party for their wedding, just between the RFA. Except Zen, he didn't felt like going in the first place.

On the ride home, it was quiet and you didn't like it one bit. Something's  really bothering him, you said to yourself.

When arriving home, Elizabeth was there to greet both of you. You petted her head gently for her greeting and saw Jumin sitting on the couch, looking even more sad.

Concerned, you walked over and knelt in front of him. "What's wrong, my honey bunny?" you asked, trying to be a little silly towards him.

Jumin looked up at you with his eyes describing sadness. You thought in the honeymoon was bad, but this one was even worse. "[Name]..."

You frowned, resting your hand on his knee. "Jumin, I know something has been bothering you. You promised me you wouldn't bury your emotions anymore," you said.

"I'm sorry... I just didn't want to be sad during our honeymoon... When we're suppose to be happy," he said honestly and sighed deeply.

You sat beside him on the couch. "It's okay, now. You can tell me," you stared into his eyes, giving him your full attention. "Let them out, I won't judge you."

Jumin looked down at his foot and sighed deeply. "Zen's thoughts about me... Have been going through my head all this time," he confessed. "I thought as time went by, he would acknowledge I'm becoming a better person, but it doesn't seem he will change his mind."

"I see..." you nodded, continuing to listen more.

"And when he said that I don't deserve you... That hurts me even more," Jumin ran his hand through his hair and hid his face with his hands. "I'm putting a lot of effort into becoming a better person, but he's still ignorant about me."

You couldn't help, but hug him tightly. "Jumin, don't listen to what he says..." you whispered softly and ran your fingers into his hair. "I'm sure he's just jealous that you managed to find someone before he does. I'm sure he didn't mean it, really," you gave your opinion and kissed his cheek gently.

He hugged you back, burying his face onto your neck. "Do you think I deserve you..?" he asked.

You patted his back gently and nodded. "I know sometimes it's hard for people to understand you, but you've been trying your best to make people understand you easier. You've been trying your best for our relationship to work, even if you didn't have much experience in the past... I've been trying my best to understand you as well, so in the end... We both put a lot of effort for each other, more then you think."

Hearing your words, Jumin was satisfied and relieved. "My thoughts exactly," he replied and sat up straight, smiling at your side. "Thank you for believing me, my lovely [Name]. I feel better now, thanks to you."

You grinned, "I'm not your wife for nothing, my honey bunny~" you teased him and cupped his cheek gently.

Jumin laughed slightly, "You're so cute, [Name]..." he said, before carrying your bridal style.

"J-Jumin?!"

"My love... The honeymoon is to show you my deepest love for you. Now that we're home, I'm giving you my deepest love for you," he smirked softly, down at you.

"J-Jumin! We're not alone—"

"I already made my mind, so I'm keeping it," he continued to smirk, walking to your bedroom.

"U-Um... DOES JUMIN HAN IS GAY?!" you yelled out, trying to change his mind.

"I married you, didn't I? Doesn't it contradict the question?" he laughed, smiling.

"I-I'm actually a guy! So, it doesn't!" you lied, that response being your last resort.

"Well, let's find out in the bedroom, shall we?" he smirked and locked the door.

"J-JUMIN!!"
