EXTRA! #7
Babysitter Seven [EXTRA! #7]
"Hello!" Seven said as Jumin opened the door. He slammed the door in front of his face. "No."
"What you mean, no? We agreed that he'll take care of the babies while we go out!"
"Seeing him reminds me of why I don't trust him taking care of Elizabeth The 3rd," he signed and placed his fingertips onto his forehead in frustration. "Hey... I'm sure he'll do okay," you reassured him. "What's the worst that can go wrong?"
"If he isn't careful with my cat, how is it going to be with my Prince and Princess?" he glared at you, not convinced. You sighed and held his hands. "Trust me... Please..."
Jumin gave in and nodded slowly, placing his hand on his hip. "I always do," he walked back and opened the door for Seven.
"Hello~!" Seven lifted up his glasses before putting them back to place. "How are Cat Mom and Cat Mom the Second doing today?" he let out a toothed grin.
"What did you say?" Jumin asked him in an intimidating and serious tone. "Uah! My lenses would shatter from that scary vibe!"
You sighed deeply. Maybe it was a bad idea to bring him over. How can a immature goofball be able to take care of little infants? He can't even handle taking care of a cat!
"I'm already here, so just go~!" Luciel pushed you two out of the house. "Have fun! Don't get too out of hand, you two! Two littles bundles of joy is enough, don't you think?" he snickered and locked the door of the front.
"I'm going to kill him if he I see one little imperfection on them," your husband clenched his fist.
"Agreed."
"How old are they again?" Seven scratched his head and shrugged. "Oh! They can't even walk yet! That's not fun," he sighed deeply and started walking to the twins' room. Luciel saw them still sleeping peacefully and sat down on a nearby chair. "Well, I guess I can work while they sleep—"
Then, a familiar loud beeping came from his laptop. Seven's heart skipped a beat when he heard Jihyun quiet whimpering. Then...
"BWEEEEEEEEEH!" his cry woke up his twin sister and she started harmonizing his cries... but in a very bad way.
"Uah! They're going to kill me!" Seven rushed to their cribs and tried picking up Jihyun, but his hands were being slippery and his petite body slightly slipped. "Ji!" he luckily had good reflexes and caught him in time. LOLOL came in handy after all.
"Phew! Alright," Seven tried rocking Jihyun gently and he realized it's been five months, since he's last seen baby Hyun. That caused him to have an exciting rush pump through his veins. "You're so cute! OH MA GAWD," he shouted happily, which scared both of the twins and started crying even more. "Gah! Why did I even sign up to do this in the first place?!" he started joining the harmonizing of the cries.
"Yoosung! How to calm down a baby?" Seven asked him through the phone.
"Why are you asking me out of all people?" he asked, confused.
"Well, you're the youngest and you act like a baby almost all the time," Seven replied and waited for his answer. Yoosung was silent, being offended by his statement. "Yoosung—" he hung up on the dangerous hacker. Seven sighed deeply and sat on the floor. "How am I suppose to take care of a kid? If they think so, because I'm a happy-go-lucky person, it's just a façade!" he yelled out in frustration and kicked on the couch.
He looked at Jihyun crawling on the wooden floor and he looked up at Seven, giving him a confused look. "I would love to have your childhood and you took mine instead," he said coldly and sat there, in deep thought.
Jihyun crawled over to him and tugged onto his pants. "Lulu..?" he asked, seeing his sad expression. "Lulu....?" Seven looked back at him and managed to crack a smile. "It's Luciel, not Lulu," he corrected him and placed him on his lap. "Well, to be honest with you... it's Saeyoung... no one knows that though."
Jihyun let out a small giggle and laid onto his chest. "Lulu..." he said softly before falling asleep once again. "Well... at least you're getting your nap," he smiled softly and placed him back in the crib. He picked up Elly and saw she was still silently crying.
"Stupid computer..." Seven wiped her tears away, causing her to calm down. "Dada?" Elly asked him, confused to seeing a different face. He shook his head, "Not here, Elly..." She yawned softly and started playing with Seven's fingers, giggling softly. "Rawr! Rawr!"
He let out an amused chuckle and patted her head. "Fingers have feelings too, you know?" he joked and poked her nose playfully. Elly held his index finger gently before falling dozing off. Relived, he put her back on the crib and decided to shut down his laptop for their sake.
"Ah... Being a parent is tough," he said lowly and looked back at him. "But if you love your children, it won't matter in the end if it's hard," he smiled and the image of his mother crept into his thoughts. He looked at the babies and caressed their cheeks with his thumb. "You guys are lucky... If God gave me the chance to be reborn... I would love to take it," he confessed and his cheeks started to get wet. "So I can have better life than what I have now," he bit his bottom lip softly, wiping his eyes.
"Be good to your parents, Elly and Jihyun... I would die to have amazing people as my family. Promise me, you will," Luciel held their tiny hands. "If not, you're going to ruin me even more.
Your happiness of your childhood is all I can feel to recover some of my wounds."
Seven got his bag and took out RoboCat. He placed it close to their crib and smiled softly. "Goodnight, for now."
