EXTRA! #5
Not Worthy! [EXTRA! #5]
"Are you sure I can't come?" you asked Jumin with a frown. "I don't want you to leave..."
"Honey, I know, but I have to go alone," Jumin sighed as he was packing his luggage. "Wait for three days and before you know it, I'll be back," he said and hugged you. "This business trip is very important, and my father doesn't want me to mess it up. So, I can't afford to have a distraction."
You sighed, but you understood. "Okay, sweetie. Be safe for me," you kissed his cheek gently and followed him to the door. "I will. I love you," he smiled lightly and pecked your lips before being escorted in Driver Kim's car.
You walked back inside and started getting ready for bed, the bodyguards being on high alert.
You fluttered your eyes open and tried feeling Jumin's body, but he wasn't there. "Right..." you shook your head and started heading to the kitchen for some breakfast.
"Morning, [Name]."
"Hey, Zen..." you greeted him while half-asleep. Then, you realized it. "Zen?! What are you doing here?!"
"Hello, [Name]!" Yoosung greeted you as well, coming from the other hallway. "Nice morning, right?"
"What are you doing here, too?!" you asked both of them. "Am I expecting Seven and Jaehee as well while you're at it?!"
"Elly~! Come back here!" Seven chased the cat down the hallway and stopped for a second. "Hello~" he greeted you first, before going back to chasing Elizabeth.
You had a feeling, so you did it. "Jaehee! Come greet me!" you yelled out, pissed off. She laughed nervously and said, "Hi, [Name]... Sorry, it was Mr. Han's orders to invite them here."
"W-Why? It's seven in the morning!"
"You called me?" Luciel grinned up at you like an idiot. "I did not! Hands off my princess, you cat abuser!" you yelled. "Not you, too..." he pouted playfully and sighed, letting her go. "Hmph. Fine."
"Wait, why Jumin invited everyone here?" you asked Jaehee, until there was a video calling coming from the television screen. "It's him," Jaehee warned everyone and you answered him. "Hi, Jumin..." you mumbled lowly.
"Good morning, [Name]," he replied and saw your upsetting face. "Yes, I'm sorry if it's too much to see early in the morning, but bear with me."
"Why's everyone here?" you managed to calm down from your frustration. "Well, I want to see who's capable of being your personal bodyguard."
"Say, what now?" were Zen's words to his explanation. "Um, newsflash Trust Fund Kid, but you own at least ten bodyguards around the house. Why not ask one of them to be her personal bodyguard?"
"I do not trust them enough to protect my lovely," your husband replied with a menacing and serious tone. "I don't want anyone to touch her, unless it's me."
"Boop," Seven poked you and snickered like a little infant, disobeying the rules. Jumin furrowed his eyebrows and rubbed his forehead in frustration. "Well, you're out of the picture."
"What?!" Seven replied and crossed his arms. "I can offer top-notch security in your home, if you make me her bodyguard!"
"Physically, you can't do crap. All you do is eat junk food," Jumin replied and shooed him away from the screen. "Luciel, you heard him," Jaehee gestured him to the door and he sighed softly. "Fine, see you some other time, [Name]."
You nodded and watched him leave the room, looking back at Jumin. "Is it really necessary, baby? It's only three days..." you stated your opinion and crossed your arms.
"Baby..?" he rubbed his chin gently in thought. "Ha, it sounds nice... I thought it was ridiculous a couple calling each other that, but with you, it has a nice ring to it."
"Baby, baby, baby~" you sang for him and chuckled softly, smiling.
"Oh~!" Zen sang along and you turned around with an unamused face. "You didn't just do that."
"What? I thought it's funny—"
"It's not," you cut him off and crossed your arms. "It's a lame joke. It was funny back then, but not anymore!"
"[Name]! Calm down," Jaehee suggested and tried to relieve your nerves for a bit. "You're okay?"
"No! Because he's away and I miss my honey bunny!" you replied and looked back at Jumin with a sad expression. He frowned as well and said, "It will be okay, I'll be there before you know it."
Yoosung felt sympathetic about the situation and stood beside you. "I want... to be her bodyguard."
"Yoosung, I respect your courage, but I got the better body," Zen stood beside you as well and looked up at Jumin. "Who do you choose?"
"Assistant Kang," Jumin made his final decision and both men were confused. "Huh?"
"I'm included in the selection," Jaehee reminded them and approached the television screen. "Are you sure, Mr. Han? I'm already piled up with paperwork—"
"I'll negotiate the dates to report them, don't worry," he reassured her and smiled lightly. "[Name]'s safety is more important than some paperwork."
"C-Can you explain why she's more qualified than us?" Zen asked Jumin, very confused. "Simple. I don't like you," Jumin replied honestly and shooed him off. "What?!" Zen wanted to flip a table with his expression. "Plus, Jaehee does real judo, while you act fake judo in your plays," he dissed him. "What about me?" Yoosung asked very innocently. He scoffed, "You'll probably forget to do your job while you sit at my house and play your computer thing."
"What? That's very insulting!" Yoosung huffed his cheeks and glared at the screen. "I wouldn't do anything stupid if it concerns a RFA member's safety!" he protested. "I'll be so worried, I'll forget about LOLOL."
With that answer, Jumin nodded. "You'll be the second bodyguard. I like your courage."
"C'mon! I have the body to be a bodyguard! I'm very healthy and look at my muscles!"
"Again, you don't know how to fight and I don't like you," Jumin replied bitterly at Zen. "Besides, you flirt at [Name] when I'm not around, so I don't trust you."
"It's not like I'll flirt back at him, Ju~" you did a kissy face towards the television screen.
"Just taking precautions," he replied with a faint smile. "Yoosung and Jaehee, you'll be living in my house for the next three days. Zen and Luciel aren't allowed in my premises until then," he reported and ended the call.
"Whatever," Zen muttered and stood up, waving back at you. "See you in different circumstances," he said and left his house.
Jaehee sighed in relief and smiled at you and Yoosung. "We'll try our best."
"Yeah! You can count on us!" Yoosung said in an optimistic tone. "But I do feel Zen would do a better job than I will..."
"It's good though," Jaehee admitted and looked at you. "I wanted to watch the DVDs of his plays with you..."
"Awe, girls night!" you chuckled and she squealed happily. "I-I'm a boy though," Yoosung intervened and laughed shyly.
"You're still watching with us. Suffer from our fangirling screeches," you cursed him, which causes Jaehee to laugh.
"Great..." Yoosung sighed.
