Jimin's POV:

"Mirk?"

"No, Milk,"

"Meulk?"

Jungkook, "milk,"

"Ahhh~ Milk! Yeah," I smile brightly at tony, handing him the yogurt drink. He says something more but I can't understand so I just give him a thumbs up.

"Wooww~" I gasp out of amazement as he downs it in one gulp.

"Rain!" Jungkook calls, I look over to him as he searches for her, "Yah, RaeJae-ah. Where is she?"

"I think Manager-nim pulled her aside again," I answer.

"Why do they keep doing that?" He purses his lips, "Do you think something's wrong? She has been seeming a bit off,"

"I don't think so... I mean I think she's just acting a bit different because we're in a new place," I try, but I do have to agree that she's been out of character lately.

We both look to the right when the main door opens, our manager and some of the staff walking in. Jungkook and I exchange a few glances when RaeJae doesn't follow, communicating something along the lines of 'we should go find her'.

Living with the same people for almost 3 years has some perks. We've all developed a knack for understanding each other through just a look or two.

"Where you guys going?" Hobie comes up behind us just as we're about to exit into the hallway.

"To find RaeJae," Jungkook answers, determined to complete our mission.

"What for?" Hobie tilts his head slightly.

"I need answers!" Jungkook shouts dramatically.

I let out a small laugh, "Kookie can't stand when RaeJae keeps stuff from him,"

"I've noticed," Hoseok chuckles, "what's she not telling him?"

"More like what's she not telling us," Jungkook raises his eyebrows for emphasis.

"Ahh~ So I'm not the only one who's thought she's been off?" Hoseok nods.

"See, Hyung! Something is wrong!" Jungkook points his finger at me.

I let out a sigh and start for her room, stopping in my tracks when I here a loud thump. I slowly turn my head to look at Hoseok and Jungkook to make sure they heard it as well.

"What was that?" Hoseok looks slightly frightened.

Jungkook and I shrug our shoulders, now tiptoeing in the direction of RaeJae's separate room. Her door is slightly cracked open, all of us peering in to see her throwing things around in every direction.

"Why?!" She practically yelps, dropping to her knees. Her hands start to pick up the multiple books strewn across the floor.

"Should we interfere?" Jungkook whispers worriedly, "Jimin hyung, you go talk to her,"

"Why not all of us?" I look down at him.

"Because you're good at comforting people!" He says with wide eyes.

"Why are you suddenly nervous?" Hoseok nudges Jungkook slightly.

"Because I'm bad at advise..." he trails off.

"Too bad!" Hoseok grunts, pushing us all into he room.

RaeJae turns around with the start, her eyes going from us to the mess she's just made and then back to us.

RaeJae's POV:

They're joking right? Why can't they just be joking? I feel myself getting sick as I turn my back on manager-nim.

"RaeJae-Ssi, please don't get too upset by this. We are doing everything we can to keep your life as is," I hear him call after me out of pure sympathy.

I shake my head as I turn the corner, anger starting to bubble over. He just told me that once I get back to Korea, I'll have to pack my things and move back in with my parents until the court trial is over.

However, I'll have to stay there if the court ruling comes out in their favor.

Which I've been told that that's the way this whole thing is leaning.

"Life is unfair," I mumble under my breath once so reach my room, "so unfair!"

I whip a bunch of things off the top shelf of the bureau and watch them hit the floor. My eyes scan the room for more things to soften my anger, and I end up heading for a bookshelf as I send books flying everywhere.

"Why?!" I call out, wanting nothing more than to cry for an entire day. As always, I can't find it within myself to let the tears fall. What is wrong with me?

A sudden noise causes me to turn around, Jimin, Jungkook, and Hoseok staring back at me. I look at the mess I've just made and realize that I'm literally sitting in the middle of it. I quickly stand up and try to play it off, but instead I just look extra awkward.

"Rae... Is something wrong?" Jungkook asks reluctantly. All of them look a bit uncomfortable, probably because they've never seen me act like this. I don't think even I have seen me act like this.

"Yes," I reply, looking away from them, "but I don't feel like talking about it,"

"But we might be able to help," Hoseok tries but I shake my head.

"Unfortunately nothing much can be done to help me," I look back to them, giving a small smile, "So let's just enjoy the time in America that we have left,"

"Yah," Jimin walks over to me and grabs my arm, "You can trust us. Please, what's going on with you?"

I look into his eyes, seeing my reflection staring back at me through them. It's been over a year since I met these boys, and somehow I've ended up right back where I started. I'm the same sad, girl who has a wall built way above her head to keep anyone and everyone out.

How much do these boys even know about me? Alls they know about my personal life is that I'm emancipated because my parents suck. I've never really talked about my grandparents, or even my childhood with them. Even though they've shared that information about themselves with me.

So do they even know me?

"Jimin hyung, would you say that you're happy with your life right now?" I ask.

"Yes... why do you ask?"

"Because I am too,"

"RaeJae, what's going on?" Jungkook furrows his eyebrows.

"But my life is about to change..." I trail off, "You know, I used to think that I could never be happy because the gap what I wanted and reality was too big. But now I am happy, so why can I stay happy?"

"RaeJae, here, I think you should sit down," Hoseok guides me to the bed, "you look a bit pale... are you feeling okay?"

I let out a long sigh, "please don't worry about me. I promise I'll tell all of you once we shoot the last scene of the reality show. Manager-nim said that was my best option, so I plan to respect his opinion. Right now, as I said, I'm happy. And that's all that matters,"

Taehyung's POV:

Her parents are fighting for custody.

I quickly move away from RaeJae's door so that they don't catch me eavesdropping. So they weren't kidding back in Japan when they said they were going to become her parents again...

Aish, this poor girl can never catch a break.

Should I tell Yoongi? Or maybe just all of the boys... but I should probably respect RaeJae's decision to wait to tell us. That's probably the best decision.

I lean against the bed frames and watch RaeJae, Hobie, Jimin, and finally Jungkook walk back into the main shooting area. If I can't tell anyone what I know, I might as well make it my number one job to cheer RaeJae up.

"Rain-ah!" I exclaim, "come play Xbox with me!"

~

I have such good things planned for the next few chapters...
