I knocked on Ross's door.

"Ross! Come pick up some pizza with me!" I yelled.

He popped out of his room with sunglasses, a Miku shirt, khaki shorts, and flip flops.

"Okay, I'm ready." he said walking out of the room.

"Dear, God. Ross. What the hell are you wearing?" I said.

"My regular day outfit. What? Is it bad?" he said as we left the hotel.

"No, it's beautiful. Just,"

I gave him the sweater I was wearing and wrapped it around him.

I smiled. "There you go, much better."

He rolled his eyes and we headed for the pizza place.

"Okay, okay. How many times have you've been almost arrested?" Julia asked me.

I thought about it, counting with my fingers.

Max chuckled. "You've got to be kidding me."

I laughed. "What? It's high school and college! Haven't you gotten in trouble more than once?"

Max looked at Ross, who had a whole pizza slice in his mouth. Ross looked up at Max, and nodded.

"Okay, so one time I was at this party. We had this bet that none of us could go out in the streets naked,

"so some of my friends were like, 'How much would you give us,' and my other friends said 200, each, and my friends told me, 'Let's do it,' and I wasn't myself that night so we went outside, took our clothes off-" Max said.

"Oh my god! Max! You went in the streets naked!" I yelled.

"For like a second! But then one of the neighbors saw and she threatened to call the cops, so we went back inside." he said.

We all laughed hysterically for several minutes.

"Amazing."

For the next hour, we talked about different stories. After a while, it got pretty late.

"It's getting late, I'm going to my room." Julia said.

"Same," Ross said.

Julia left and Ross said good night.

It was just me and Max.

"I'm going to my room, too." Max said.

I was looking out the window. The view was beautiful at night.

"Wow, it's beautiful." Max said next to me.

"Yeah, it is." I said.

I looked at Max. He was smiling at me.

"Night, Shelby."

"Night."

We hugged each other and just stayed there for a couple seconds.

He let go and smiled at me.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"Uh, yeah." I put my hair behind my ears.

"Good." He left and closed the door.

I dropped on my bed and sighed.
