Shelby's P.O.V
"Come on, Julia, be serious about this."

Julia grabbed the laptop from me and rolled her eyes.

"Fine. Just saying, I can get a cheaper flight to New York with the help of a guy I know." she said as she typed some things on the laptop.

I shook my head and laid on my bed next to her. Shadow walked over to me and stared wagging her tail. I smiled and gave her kisses.

"Who's a good girl? Who's a good girl!" I said to her in a goofy voice.

Shadow wagged her tail excitedly and rubbed her back on my leg. Julia stared at me weirdly then looked back at the laptop.

I stood up and went to grab her a treat from her treat bag.

"Okay, stay... Stay... Who's gonna stay? Who's gonna stay?" I said to Shadow.

"Not my lunch!"

I looked at Julia. She stuck her in her mouth.

"Stop being so gross and weird with your dog." she said.

I gave Shadow one more kiss them she walked out of the room.

"Alright, so I found a flight to New York that is really cheap." Julia said as she showed me stuff on the screen.

I nodded. "Wow, this is pretty cheap." I clicked the Buy Tickets option and sighed.

"Julia, pack your bags, we're going to New York!" I yelled and pumped my fists in the air.

Max's P.O.V
My phone rang so I picked it up.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hi, Max!" Shelby's high pitched voice rang through my ear.

"Oh, hi, Shelby."
"Me and Julia booked a flight to New York already. Did you and Ross do it yet?"
"Yeah, Ross wanted to do it right away."
"Cool. I'll probably Skype you in a couple days to see what we'll do, okay?"
"Okay, see you then."
"Bye."

I hung up and walked to the living room. Ross was playing Smash Bros. with Tim. He noticed me come in and pulled a controller for me. I grabbed it from him and sat on the couch.

"So, who was Shelby calling about the flight?" Ross asked. I nodded.

"Cool, also I'm kicking your butt right now so stop drooling on your controller and try to play." he said.

I looked at my controller and noticed I wasn't using it.

"Oh." I said.

That was weird. I never daydream during Smash Bros.

I shook my head and started playing.

Was it because of Shelby?

Shelby's P.O.V
(A week later)
Ross was riding this inflatable dolphin behind Max. We were Skyping and also laughing really hard.

"There's no time to explain!" Ross yelled.

I laughed and so did Max.

"Okay, go away now." Max said and Ross left.

Max turned to face the screen/me. I smiled this goofy smile that I know he loves. Whenever I do it, he smiles as well. I love his smile.

"So, our beautiful trip is in exactly sixteen days." he said.

"Oh, you've been counting? Excited to spend time with Ross?" I teased.

"No! Ross is annoying." He muttered something after that but I couldn't make out what he said.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing. Anyways, Julia still staying by you until New York?" he asked.

"Yeah, I mean it's kind of useless to take a flight here and then back home a couple days later and then go back here again and then go to New York." I said.

"I get it." he said.

All of sudden, the inflatable dolphin appeared from the doorway behind Max. I tried to hold in a laugh, but Max noticed anyway.

"What?" he said then looked behind him.

Ross stuck his head from the doorway.

"Ross!" Max yelled.

"Gotta go splash!" Ross yelled then ran.

Max chased after him. My door from behind me opened and Julia came in.

"Hey!" she said and but her purse on my bed.

"Hi. I'm Skyping Max right now." I said and pointed at the screen.

She walked over by me and looked at the screen.

"Where is he?" she said.

"Chasing Ross."
"Ah."

Max came back to the screen and saw Julia.

"Oh, hi, Julia." he said.

"Hey, Max. Oh, Shelb, I'm gonna set up the movie we were watching again. See ya Max." she said.

"Bye." Max said.

Julia closed the door. I looked at Max. He smiled at me.

"Hi."
"Hi."

I smiled. "I'm excited for this trip."

He nodded. "Me too."
