      Drew was feeling very overwhelmed.

He was sitting outside of Flynn's house, in his backyard, smoking a cigarette to appease his nerves. He was feeling anxious and he didn't know any other way to calm it down than that. His head was a mess, still thinking about what happened the night before, still thinking about Kira's face and the way she turned around and left him there. And him not going after her, he just couldn't move. He knew she was special to him, when the only thought on his mind was how is he going to get her back? It wasn't over for him, he knew he fcked up but this time he knew how they failed and he knew how to win it this time. He knew how to get her back.

"Hey man." 

Drew turned around and saw Flynn closing the balcony door and approaching him, patting him on the back. He sat down and Drew immediately gave him a cigarette, knowing that was part of their routine now. Flynn lit the cigarette and grabbed his phone, shoving it to Drew's hands.

"Take a look."

Drew, confused, looked at Flynn's phone screen. His heart skipped a bit seeing the messages.

END OF FLYNN'S PHONE

Drew didn't know what to say. He kinda felt relieved knowing she still cared, that made him have more hopes for their future. He returned Flynn's phone to him again and he took it, placing beside him on the chair.

"She will probably come today or tomorrow. She doesn't like having an information and not doing anything about it." Flynn replied and took a drag of his cigarette.

"Are you sure?" He anxiously tapped his foot on the floor, taking a drag of his cigarette too.

Flynn looked at Drew, the way he was avoinding eye contact, tapping his foot on the floor; he radiated anxiety all over him. At the beginning, when Kira stopped talking to him and that photo appeared, he obviously was mad, someone hurted his best friend. He saw everyday how Kira transformed to this new person, the lack of spontaneous trips, her carefree personality, the whole thinking about everything before she would something. He hated it, he hated seeing her like that.

One day, he got a message from Madelyn asking how was Kira, saying that she didn't answer any of her texts or some of the cast's. Kira completly shut off everyhting that was related to Drew, including his friends, not considering how much had hurt them; especially the girls. The two friends talked, showing both perspectives and that made Flynn realised that if Madelyn and him understood each other's vision maybe Kira and Drew would see it too. So, Madelyn said that Drew needed a little push from someone of Kira's life and Flynn made exactly that. He couldn't stand seeing Kira like someone he didn't recognized.

"Man, it's okay to feel like this." Flynn placed his hand on Drew's shoulder.

He took a deep breath.

"I fcked up so bad. I was feeling so overwhelmed, I got carried away but I did not once stopped thinking about her, how she was doing. After things were falling apart, I guess I knew what was happening and gave her some space and stopped trying. It was a mistake, I realised that now."

Flynn retreated his hand back into his lap.

"She told me about the picture, your message. Why did you lie?"

Drew eyebrows raised, because lying to her? He wouldn't.

"What are you talking about?"

Flynn grabbed his phone again, showing the screenshot that Kira sent it to him one day. The one where she saw Drew's picture with that girl and then later calling him, him not picking up and then the message where he said he was coming from a night's shoot. Drew watching, shook his head, groaning. 

"Would you believe that I was really coming from a night's shoot, had a panic attack about this whole situation with Kira, Ava, the girl, saw me, helped me and dragged me to this bar to distract me? I just didn't wanted to text Kira that I was in a bar, it felt so wrong, I don't know how to explain it."

Drew took the last drag of the cigarette and extinguished it in the ashtray, taking another one soon after. However, Flynn took away his pack of cigarettes, leaving a frustated Drew on his chair. He believed him, and knowing a little bit about Drew, made Flynn realize that Drew could be trusted. And he trusted him, he knew that Drew cared about Kira. 

"Look, it's gonna be okay. Kira just needs a little bit of time." Flynn placed his hand on Drew's shoulder again, forcing him to look at him. "Just take it easy, you both are still hurting. She needs time to realize that she can be with you while you are away. She doesn't deal well with distance, but she's gonna get there, you just have to help her."

Drew looked at Flynn, at his friend, someone who helped him so much over this last few short days. He couldn't thank him enough. He just couldn't. He grabbed Flynn's shoulder and pushed against him, hugging him.

"Thank you, friend."

Flynn smiled a bit, against him.

"I want the best for both of you."

And just like that, Drew felt more confident that he could win his girl back.

i'm so glad you're here, i hope you're enjoying this unbearable moment that is kira and drew just not talking to each other <3 i hope you feel for them, because we're having one more moment to wrap this climax up and then happy moments comes soon enough.
