15. suspicious things

two weeks and some days later, 7:18pm - charleston time

     "Alright guys, it's a wrap for today ! Thank you, see you tomorrow !"

Jonas announced to everyone, making everyone clap and cheer for another great day at work. Drew departed right away to his trailer to grab his phone and some belongings of him. The cast was going out to have dinner and party a little bit. 

When Drew arrived at his trailer he soon grabbed his phone to see if he had any notifications from a certain someone, which he had, making this one utter a smile without knowing.

"What are you looking at? Let's go." Drew jumped at the sudden person behind him and looked to see that it was only Austin.

"Jesus, Austin. Chill a little." Drew rolled his eyes and left the trailer with Austin, making their way to the restaurant already.

"What? You were the one that freaked out." 

"You just don't go stand behind people and talk like they know that you are there." Drew placed his hands on his pockets. 

Austin stifled a laugh. "You're just complaining because you were texting Kira and didn't even realise I was just right behind you the whole time."

Drew seriously looked at Austin, which made this one laugh more. "Shut up, dude." 

"What? I'm not saying anything wrong. You're whipped, man." Austin nudged Drew.

"No, I'm not." Drew replied and felt his phone vibrate again, but didn't want to grab it because he knew it was Kira and didn't want Austin to tease him about it again. "We're just friends."

Austin laughed. "Please, friends my ass. Friends don't kiss each other."

"That was different." Drew replied and Austin shook his head.

"Whatever you say, man."

They soon arrived at the restaurant, where everyone was already seated. They greated their friends and sat with them, Drew being between Austin and Madelyn. Everyone soon enough engaged to a conversation about their show or just simply family things. However, Drew was paying little attention to the conversation, because instead, he was being on his phone talking to Kira, a constant smile on his face. 

Madelyn kept glancing at his friend who was smiling everytime he saw a notification from Kira, even more when she send a picture of herself doing silly things on her daily life. Madelyn knew she was peeking and syping a little too much, but she couldn't stop smiling about all of this. She knew Drew didn't have anything with anyone for a long time and didn't try to go after someone, but when that kiss happened on new year's, she knew something has changed in him. She knew he wanted to find her, she knew that Kira seemed perfect for Drew and she couldn't wait to see more of this soon to be relationship.

"Hey, Drew! What are you doing?" Madison tried to caught her friend's attention. "You've been quiet." 

"Sorry, guys." Drew looked at everyone and putted his phone with the screen down.

"Guys, let the man live a little. He finally found himself a gilfriend, let him enjoy." Austin replied and Madelyn looked at Drew with a suppressed laugh. 

Drew blushed a bit, but grabbed his beer and drank to divert his attention from his face. 

"You guys are being mean." Madelyn replied. 

"I don't have a girlfriend." Drew shook his head.

"Of course not, at least not right now." Rudy stated which made everyone laugh.

Drew rolled his eyes. "Can you stop? I don't think anything is actually  going to happen."

Everyone looked at each other confused, it was clear as day that Drew and Kira were interested in each other, even if the kiss was something that started all kinda of a joke. Madelyn looked at Drew and saw this one playing with the napkin, she looked at her other friends and nudged to them to talk about something else. They started to speak about some trip they all wanted to make and Madelyn took that chance to get closer to Drew and speak with him. 

"Hey." Drew looked up. "What is this sudden change of mood?"

Drew sighed and reclined on his chair, looking into the restaurant. 

"I just—I don't know. I guess I don't see us actually having a relationship."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, for starters, we have different lives. She's in college, has a job and i'm an actor. I don't have a normal life like she has. And if something happened between us, I don't want to take her normal life away, because as soon someone find out, it's over for her." Drew sighed and looked at his plate. 

"Well, for starters Drew, I don't think she cares about any of that. She literally commented on a post where every fan of yours could see, she didn't care and still doesn't care about anyone and well, I only see positive comments about her. People like her, I don't know if you notice that, but even if they don't, remember that you are the only person who really knows her and if she was someone that was bad for you, trust me, me and your friends, would tell you about it. We're here for you, okay?" Madelyn smiled.

"Thank you, Mads." Drew smiled back.

"Also, don't think about it, the relationship part. Just go with the flow, you guys have something special going on and I never saw you this happy, so just enjoy. You really found someone good for you, at least, it appears that."

"I guess she's pretty amazing." Drew laughed a bit and and relaxed a little in his chair.

"You really have a crush on her, do you?" Madelyn nudged Drew's shoulder.

"Stop it." Drew pointed a finger at her. 

Madelyn shook her head, still laughing and soon both friends joined the other conversation happening at the table. Drew was more relaxed and was engaging a bit more, even though a certain someone was always on his mind.

as you can see, this story has gonna have slow updates. im at this new job and they required a lot so i need to do my best and sometimes i dont have the energy to write, however im still gonna write this story to the end bc i just love kira and drew. 

they are my favs characters i have ever created and they are the best!
