Narrator:
         It was August 27th, a day before freshman year. Lakenna was excited to actually meet real people after being homeschooled for four years. Her Mom wanted her to be homeschooled so she could learn without being distracted, but being alone didn't help Lakenna. She would always sneak out to meet people she had met online that lived in her area, Hollywood, California. Her mother would always get very angry with her, who was only 14 at the time, for going out late at night.

Characters for first 2 chapters:

         Lakenna: She is a 14 year old with dirty blond hair. Never made a real friend, was homeschooled, doesn't listen to anyone. Has a major crush on Keith.
Mom: Outspoken, shy, and beautiful. Feels like a bad mother because of how Lakenna treats her.
Keith: He is also 14 with dark brown hair. Moved from Russia in eighth grade. Mysterious, charming, and not who people thinks he is.
Dad: Lakenna's dad passed away from cancer when Lakenna was very young.

Lakenna's POV:
Keith. The boy I would always hangout with behind moms back. Mom never met Keith, and I honestly don't want her to. She would always yell, "Who do you even sneak out to be with Lakenna?". I would just simply tell her "You really want to know mother? I go and hang out with Stacy". Obviously that was a big lie, but my mom never really dared to find out who Stacy was. She would always tell me, "Stacy sounds like a name for a girl who isn't loyal to her mother. Just like you Lakenna".

Sorry for the first chapter being so short. It's just an intro to the story.
