Dick is leaning on the door while watching her lover putting their child to sleep. Closing his eyes while listening to her soft voice as she sings.

Opening his eyes and looked curious about the song. It's soothing but at the same time, there's a hint of sadness. He never heard of this song before and wondering if Ruby ever composes it for Orion. Snapping out of his thoughts the moment Ruby puts Orion on his crib smiling softly at his fiancée.  He gently dragged the scarlet-haired girl out of Orion's room and making sure the baby monitor is on for them to check their son's status.

"I didn't know you compose a new song, gem." Dick spoke softly and hugging her gently.

"To be honest... that song was sung by Lola and for some reason... it stuck on my head." Ruby answered truthfully before kissing his jaw. "You're off early."

"Miaka kicked me out early and doing patrol in my place." Sighing softly and they swayed gently. "She said and I quote, 'I feel bored and nothing to do in the spirit world. I may as well be useful and help you out.' You didn't send her on purpose are you?" He asked curiously.

Ruby shook her head and smiling nervously at him. "I gave them permission to use their own magic whenever they wanted to visit our world. I'm sorry if Miaka causes you trouble, Dick." She feels bad and letting Miaka off without her permission. The illusionist spirit decided to barge her fiancé's nighttime patrol as Nightwing.

"No, it's absolutely fine." Dick is pleased her spirits cares for him despite they annoy or dislikes for taking Ruby away from them. Ever since Orion is born, the spirits are taking turns to help them look after their son.

Orion is a male version of Ruby despite he has his blue eyes. He's not one of the fuzzy babies who cries a lot but only hungry. Both of them are lucky they're able to sleep well but still checking him up to see how he is. Wally lost his bet against Artemis and it's his job to help Ruby to change Orion's diaper. It's fun to watch him squirming and Orion weeing his face. The boy wonder took a video of it and using it as blackmail in the future.

"Ruby..." Ruby hums while tilting her head curiously. "Are you planning to go back to the Team?" He asked curiously and hoping she would stay retire until everything is over.

Ruby pursed her lips before nodding her head. "Soon but not now." She answered truthfully. "I have to stay with Orion and help Arthur sometimes regarding Aaliyah's condition."

"What about M'gann?" Dick suggested and she immediately shook her head. "Come on, Ruby. She can help-"

"No." Ruby cuts him off with a look on her face. "Would you want to face Kurama's wrath? He made it clear no one is going to invade her mind especially when a mage is a Dragon Slayer." She explained and Dick gulps nervously.

"On a second thought, never mind." He stares at her emerald eyes worriedly. "We miss her and everyone thinks she's dead."

"We have to make sure no one knows Aaliyah is alive." Ruby commented with an understanding look on her face. It's hard for Dick to lead the team all by himself without Ruby or Aaliyah to assist him. Apart from him leading the Team, he has his own city to protect including her and Orion. "They're targeting her for a reason and it's not just her. Lust knew my identity before I became Celestial and same thing as Zara."

Dick frowned and remembering five years ago how Lust and her companion, Draco, knew their real identity behind their hero alias name. He's glad Draco is no longer his problem because Ruby defeated him but Lust, on the other hand, she's out there. Waiting for an opportunity to strike them and Eris wouldn't hesitate to hunt them as well.

Eris is one of them who came from Earthland and transported here on Earth. Her main magic is Water God Slayer and the companion of Lust. She's more dangerous compares to Lust but there is a rumor saying there's another unknown mage who's more powerful than the two girls. Dick and the others are still searching to find out the third mage but there is no luck so far.

"Hey, we will figure this out, okay?" Dick smiles and kissing Ruby on her lips. "I love you and Orion. There's no way I'll let them lay their hands on you two."

"You're always been our hero, Dick." Laying her head on his chest and sighs softly. "You have to look after yourself as well. I hate it when you closed off your emotions sometimes and it scares me."

"I'll try my best and didn't want you to worry me, my young maiden." He smiles mischievously and carrying Ruby in his arms as she squeals in surprise. "Since our son is sleeping. Don't you think it's time for us to have our own time?"

Ruby blushed furiously and shook her head. "Dick now is not the time!" She whispered angrily. "Put me down." The scarlet-haired girl knows what he's thinking right now.

"Come on. Our room is soundproof and he can't hear us. We have his monitor to check him." He pouts and feels disappointed at her answer. "I miss you moaning my name when we're-"

"Dick!"

"You're so different when we're in the bed-"

"Richard Grayson!"

"Ow!"

Washington, D.C || February 13, 21:06 EST ||

Arthur is in his civilian clothes together with Wally. Green Arrow immediately called the brunette to inform him about Roy's condition. He's getting worse and becoming obsessed to find the original Roy. Arthur didn't hesitate to join them to bring Roy's senses back.

"Hey, Roy. Need a hand?" Green Arrow asked his former sidekick.

"No!" Roy slaps his hand away.

"We think you do." Nightwing spoke up and showed himself together with Black Canary, Jim Harper, Arthur and Wally.

Roy is looking at them before at Green Arrow. "I have nothing to say to any of you. Nothing to explain, nothing to justify!"

Green Arrow snatches the money out from Roy's belt. "Nothing?" He asked sternly.

Roy paused but didn't turn his back. "It's not what it looks like. I mean that store owner won't miss it. He offered me a reward anyway." He faces them with a stern look. "Besides, I deserve it! Guy wouldn't have any of his money back if I hadn't stepped in."

"You're better than this, Roy." Arthur spoke up and glaring at him. "Are you hearing yourself for this?"

"Arthur is right." Wally commented and completely agreeing with Arthur. "Dude! Are you even listening to yourself?"

Roy snatches the money from Green Arrow's grasps. "Look, I need it! I need it to find Speedy. The real Roy Harper. A search like is expensive. Especially when the rest of you have all given up!"

Arthur remained silent and didn't want to reveal his discovery until she's going to bring Roy's senses back. He's not fond of her but Arthur can tell she cares for him deeply despite her complex character. Black Canary walks to him slowly.

"Roy, I know you feel lost." She places her hand on his shoulder. "But that doesn't mean you are alone."

"I'm not the one that's lost." Roy answered bluntly and walks away.

Arthur sighs softly. "When was the last time you trained?" He asked Roy curiously. "The last time you slept? The last time taking care of yourself?"

"Don't even start, Arthur." He growled angrily and lowering his head. "I'm in the best shape of my life." He lied and Arthur didn't believe him even one bit.

"I'll believe it when I see it!" Arthur dashed off and starting to kick Roy.

His moves are sloppy as he dodges and nearly falls off the building. Arthur grabs his collar and pulls Roy close to his face. "You call it the best shape of your life? I'm holding back. Way back without using my magic. You used to treat your body as a temple and now... look at yourself." He releases him.

Roy kneels down and glares at them. "My body is no temple! It's a cheap knockoff. A clone."

Arthur clenches his fists and turned away whereas Green Arrow approached Roy. He offers his hand at the clone red archer. "Roy, come back to Start City. It will be like old times. You and me training... fighting crime, just hanging out, shooting the... "

Roy stands up by himself and glaring at the green archer. "You're confused. Probably thinking of the other guy. The original. The one you stopped looking for. Me, I'm just..."

"We get it. You're a clone." Jim intervened and face his nephew as he walks towards him. "But you're not... the only clone on this rooftop. And I know from personal experience... how tough it was to come to grips with being a copy of someone else. That's why I gave up my identity as Guardian. So that I could figure out exactly who Jim Harper is supposed to be."

"That's not the only thing you gave up!" Roy exclaimed angrily.

"Roy, you know we both spent years looking for the original Speedy. And everyone else here did the same. We never found him because the Light didn't keep him alive." Jim explained calmly. "It was CADMUS policy to delete the source material. He's dead brother. Which is all the more reason you have to live. To honor the Roy that was"

Roy didn't want to accept the fact the original Roy is completely dead. He knows he's out there somewhere and hard to find. The red archer sits down on the big air vent. "I'm whelmed by all this attention. What're you even doing here, West? I thought you ditched the hero game. Nelson? Aren't you suppose to babysitting someone?"

"Zara and Nabu are looking after her." Arthur answered truthfully. "I never abandon my friends who needed their help."

"I'm the same as him. Ditching the game doesn't mean ditching my friends." Wally commented and pointing at him. "And before you round back to the original Roy again... let's face the facts. He was never our friend."

Nightwing crosses his arms. "We've all done the Math. Speedy was abducted before any of us met." He explained calmly.

"You're the guy we trained beside. Fought beside. You're the only you, we know." Wally explained.

Arthur nodded his head. "You're the guy who's always overprotective on us and making sure none of us get hurt or tear us apart." He commented.

"You're our friend." Nightwing stares at Roy. "Just 'cause you're a clone with anger management issues doesn't change that."

"Seriously, have you met Superboy?" Wally asked Roy with a smirk.

"All done?" Roy asked them before standing up. "You want to salvage someone's soul? Go get Kaldur to see the light. From what I hear, he needs course-correcting and tells him she's alive. But leave me out! Write me off. Or don't. Either way. Blow." He walked away before any of them can say.

Arthur sighs heavily and staring at the night sky. "I'm not giving up on him and I have a plan." He said it out and looking at them with a reassuring look on his face. "He's coming back to us."

"What kind of plan are you going to do, Archie?" Wally asked the brunette curiously.

"Surprise and it's between us." Arthur answered vaguely with a smirk. "I'll see you around and send my love for Ruby and my nephew, please?"

"I will, Arthur." Nightwing nodded his head with a smile.

"May our paths see each other again." He disappeared before anyone could question him further.

Blüdhaven || February 14, 00:30 EST||

Ruby manages to finish off her thesis and sighing in relief. She wanted to become a florist and hoping to open her own flower shop in the future. The teachers are giving Ruby a special case she's going to an online course temporarily until the scarlet-haired girl is back to the University due to her maternity leave. Ruby is always on time to catch up on her assignments and she's one of the smartest students at Blüdhaven University.

"You still awake, young maiden?" She looks up and smiling softly at him. "I'm back." He kisses her on the lips and removing the laptop out from her grasps.

"Welcome back, Dick." Ruby greeted him and notice his smirk. "Wha-what's with the look?" She asked nervously.

"You're wearing my white sleeves and it suits you very well." He commented and she blushed more. "Is there a special occasion for this? Young maiden? You're wearing contact lenses as well."

"N-N-N-No! No special at all!" She yelled and shook her head. "Your clothes are comfortable to wear and I was just finished my thesis report! I forgot to change it to glasses."

Dick sighs heavily and shook his head in disappointment. "I can't believe you're forgetting the very special day, Ruby."

"What special day?" She blinks and scratches her head before gasping in shock. "It's Caleb's birthday! Today is the 14th of February."

"What? No." He sighs heavily and knocking her head lightly. "We know it's his birthday but there's another reason. Happy Valentines Day, my gem."

"Oh..." Ruby laughs nervously and biting her lower lips. "Happy Valentines Day too, my love." She hugs Nightwing and he returns the gesture. "Sorry about that. I have consumed my time on my thesis after putting our son to sleep. I actually forgot about it apart from Arthur's brother's birthday."

"I can forgive you... if you surrender yourself to me." He tugs Ruby's long sleeves and she immediately holds it tight while blushing furiously. 

"Stop teasing me, Dick!" She snapped angrily and whacking his head before staring at him worriedly. "How did it go with Roy?"

Dick sighs heavily and sitting down on the couch right next to her. "That guy completely shut us out. Arthur has an idea to get him but he won't tell us."

"We're talking about Arthur here, Dick." Leaning her head on his shoulder. "Trust him and it's going to work out fine."

"Yeah, you're right." He smiles softly and kissing her temple. "Want me to proofread your work before submitting it?"

"You're the best and maybe later?" Ruby suggested. "It's already late and the deadline for my thesis is the day after tomorrow. It can wait and you need to have a shower before going to bed."

"Spoken like a true wife. I can't wait for you to be mine forever, my young maiden." Dick smiles cheekily and she blushed more. "I love you Rubina." 

"Love you too, Richard."

Arthur smiles and decided to show up after Jade or known as Cheshire finally snapped Roy out completely. "Thanks a lot, Jade." He smiles gently at the black-haired girl.

"Arthur?" Roy is surprised to see him again after the confrontation. "You knew about this?"

"I did and you made me the best man after your marriage with her." He answered while rubbing his neck. "I did make a promise I'll look after her despite she doesn't need any protection."

"I owe you and a lot for looking after Lian despite you're still taking care of Aaliyah." Jade is looking down at her daughter and smiles. "Apart from that, you manage to find the original Roy Harper one step ahead of us."

"I'm her Godfather and finding the original Roy is also involved in my problem." Arthur answered truthfully before glancing at the assassin. "Thank you for not ratting Aaliyah's condition."

Jade simply smirked in amusement. "If I wasn't married or met Roy, I would go with you. However, you're too good and never work out between us."

"Hey!" Roy breaks their playful bickering and glaring at the brunette. "What did you mean your problem involves missing the original Roy?"

"Let me explain about that." Arthur clears his throat. "The original Roy was last seen on CADMUS. Five years ago, while we were busy battling the League and bringing them back. Few of the Light members took some of their experiments. Clones and originals by compelling Guardian and few aliens to erase all the evidence while they're putting them in a different location. I have a source telling me there's another dark mage apart from Lust and Eris. He's a blonde fairy with wings and pointed ears. This man is the one who sends the original Roy somewhere."

"Clearly there's more than that man sending him anywhere." Roy pointed out bluntly.

"You're right." He nodded his head. "He sealed the original Roy and you need a mage to dispel it. As for involving him, he's somehow the leader of Lust and Eris. He wanted Aaliyah but now that everyone thinks she's dead, the man is finding another motive to bring her back and something else as well."

"Jade, you met Lust and Eris before. Do you know who he is?" Roy asked his wife curiously.

"No." Jade answered truthfully. "I heard that guy is talking about merging. I don't know his name or seeing him. I only passed Eris often but she ignored me completely."

"Merging of what?" Arthur muttered under his breath before smiling at Jade. "Thanks Jade. Call me if you need me to bring the original Roy back."

"Call this a favor and I won't spill anything to them, Arthur." Jade assured the brunette. She owed him a lot for searching the original Roy and her pregnancy with Lian.

"I'll see you guys soon. Keep in touch and Roy please stop shutting us out." He disappeared out of their sight.
