Chapter Two
Yao was having a great day... until they came. He didn't even know who any of them were. Except Ivan and his sisters. But the others were all new... and he hated the new, especially when he was trying to keep all his little siblings safe.
When they came, Yao was picking cherry blossoms with Kiku, Mei, and Lien. The four looked like they were having a good time. When Ivan was walking with the other European nations and saw the four, he smiled a little.
Good. Yao's in a good mood. the tall Russian thought.
Yao noticed the European nations and frowned, shooing his siblings off inside the house. Ivan sighed when he noticed Yao's sudden change of mood. He sighed and walked over to the Chinese man.
"Ivan, who are they? And more importantly, why are they here?" Yao asked his friend, crossing his arms.
Ivan sighed, "Yao, I knew you weren't going to be happy about this. But those are the other European nations." he explained.
"And their names?" Yao asked, wanting to know about the new comers.
Ivan smiled a little, "Why don't you ask them? Their not as bad as you think. Their quite friendly and would love to explain everything to you."
Yao sighed, walking over to the rest of the group. "Names and reason your here, aru." he demanded, crossing his arms.
The European nations told the Asian their names and explained how their bosses wanted them to explore the continent known as Asia. Yao sighed when the group had finished explaining, of course the bosses would have told them to. He noticed the young ones amongst the group and bit his lip... he couldn't believe he was about to ask them what he was about to...
"Do you have a place to stay while your... visiting?" he asked, worried about the little ones, and slightly worried about the others.
"Non. We don't." Francis replied, shaking his head. "Why do you ask?"
Yao bit his lip once more, "Would you... like to stay with me?" he managed to ask
The Europeans turned to each other and spoke quietly to one another. They finally came to agreement and nodded, turning back to Yao.
"Yes." Elizabeta told him, "Only if its not too much trouble!" she added quickly.
"No. Its not any trouble at all, aru." Yao replied, leading the group inside. Not five seconds after Yao opened the door, he was tackled to the ground by his giggling younger siblings, except Kiku. Yao squeaked in surprise, "Ni hao." He greeted his little siblings.
"Hi big brother!" Mei giggled.
"Aw. Who are these little cuties??" Antonio tried not to squeal at their adorableness and tried not to pick on of them up. "Their almost as cute as little Roma!" he giggled, earning a slap on the cheek from the little Italian boy he was holding. The Spaniard yelped, "Hey! I said almost as cute as you!" he pouted.
Yao smiled a little, then thought. He couldn't trust the new comers with his little siblings country names. "This is Mei, Lien, Yong, Tai, Leon, Hyung, and... where's Kiku?"
"He said something about... I don't know." Leon shrugs, "He said it in Japanese."
Yao sighed, "Kiku!" He called, walking down the hall to Kiku's room, knocking. Little Kiku opened the door, looking up at his older brother.
"Hai nii-chan?" Kiku asked, tilting his head.
"Just wanted to make sure you were ok, aru." Yao smiled, "What'cha doing?"
Kiku took his big brothes hand, leading him over to his bed. He made his older brother sit down and walked over to his desk, picking up a picture he had been drawing and showed it to his nii-chan. "Its you and me, along with our younger siblings." he explained. Yao smiled and ruffled Kiku's black hair, "You have a lot of artistic talent for a boy your age." he complemented, getting a little giggle from Kiku. Kiku then frowned a little.
"Who were those strangers you were talking to?" he asked Yao.
Yao sighed, "Their the European Nations, they'll be here for a while." he explained.
"So, their European, like Mr. Ivan?"
Yao nodded, "Yes, they are." He said, then sighed, "I better go back and check on them. Wanna come?" He asked, holding a hand out to his little brother who nodded and took it. Yao smiled and walked back out to the group. When they got back to the others, Mei hugged Kiku with a look that said mine. Kiku chuckled, rubbing his little sisters back.
"So, where are we sleeping?" Heracles wondered, "I'm tired."
"Your always tired." Sadiq shook his head at Heracles.
"Oh, yes, follow me." Yao told the Europeans, leading them down the hall. He then gave each of them a room, though the ones with little kids or little siblings decided to bunk with them. When Yao finished giving everyone a room, he walked to his own and closed the door with a sigh.
Did I really just let several strangers into my home?
