Y/N POV

How long? How long has it been since I was stuck here in my so-called room? It's been days... weeks... months and even years I would have to guess. My name is (Y/N) Rose/Xiao Long or even Branwen. I'm the adopted son of a huntress named Summer Rose, she took me in when I was only 1 year old... I think I mean I was only a baby o remembering something that long is hard. They neglected me all the way to when I was 4 years old then... that's how the whole abuse started. I don't really know my real parents name or how they look like or if they're even alive. But for right now I just hope all the abuse stops so I can have a normal life...with my "Family" even if I'm not their flesh and blood. I was in my so called room which was not a room cause why... I lived under the basement inside a cage but my "Family" felt so "Generous" that they let me out of the cage to walk around the basement. As I was looking outside the window thinking of my so-called life when all of a suddenly Taiyang busted through the door.

Tai: *Shout in anger* WORTHLESS TRASH! COME UP STAIRS RIGHT NOW!!!

I was shaking a lot cause I was scared as to what could have made him mad and shout at me. I walked up the stairs shaking a lot from fear and when I got up the stairs to the door, Taiyang grabbed me by the collar of my "shirt" and began to throw a few punches at me, three on the face and two on the stomach. He then dropped me down to the ground as I was bleeding hard cause he broke my nose badly, I was crying cause of the pain but then he spooked.

Tai: Why did you break the plates from the kitchen!

I looked at Taiyan with a confused look because I didn't know what he was talking about nor did I know what he meant. I then looked around and saw my two "Sisters", Yang was smirking at me and so was Ruby, and that's when I realized that they did something to Fuck up my life as always.

Y/N: *Looks at Taiyang* I-I didn't *sniffs* d-do it *gets interrupted by Summer smacking him*

Summer: *Angry look and shouts* DON'T LIE TO US YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT!!!

I held my right cheek that Summer slapped as I felt the burning vibration and I began to cry again as I looked at them all. That was when both Qrow and Raven came in and looked at me with discussion in their face.

Summer: You're such a Disappointment to THIS FAMILY! Why did I ever get you out of the woods when I found you in the first place!?

Qrow: *Scoffs and takes a drink from his floss* You're such a pathetic and worthless kid.

Raven: Not only that but you are also weak that even a small Grimm could kill you.

Y/N: W-why... why a-are you a-all doing t-this to *sniffs* m-me?

I asked them all as I just wanted to know what I ever did to them. I was only 7 years old and yet my life was nothing but hell. I then looked at Yang with my teared up eyes.

Yang: Because your nothing but a Trash, a Punching Bag, and best of all a Slave.

Ruby: Yeah and your not even our real brother *laughs*

[Ruby is 8 years old, Y/N is 7 years old as his two month younger then Ruby, and Yang is 8 years old]

Taiyan grabbed me by the collar of my "shirt" and took me back to the basement as he then threw me down the stairs. I felt so much pain from Taiyang throwing me down to the ground, I tried to get back on my feet to show them I'm not weak but Qrow came out of nowhere and kicked me to a wall. I fell down hard and as I laid down I heard Summer yell at me.

Summer: YOU KNOW WHAT!? NO FOOD FOR ANOTHER MONTH AND NO BIRTHDAY AS WELL!!! YOU WEAK PIECE OF SHIT!!! I wish I left you in the woods to DIE!!!

With that I... I gave up... those last words broke me. I cried more than I ever did, I thought I could try and see if they would love me but now I know the truth that... it will never happen... I don't care for what happens to me... every last hope I had ever had was now gone. I rolled over and laid on my back as I looked up on the ceiling just thinking about death until I felt someone on my chest. I bend back up a bit because of the pain I'm still in and saw it was Zwei, my only friend no not my friend my only family.

Y/N: *Smile softly* H-hey Z-Zwei.... How's I-it going?

I looked at Zwei and he was giving me a sad look as he licked my face. I knew he felt bad for me and hated to see me sad and in pain. I hugged him, not caring about the pain as one tear fell down on to his head.

Y/N: It's okay... I'm okay Zwei... I'm... okay.

I lied to him... I wasn't okay, I was in pain, my hope was gone... I had just lost myself and gave up in life but... I couldn't tell him... I didn't want him to feel bad for me... I wanted him to stay happy and smile... for us. I hugged him a bit more tightly as I cried a bit.

Y/N Thinking: I'm sorry Zwei... I'm so sorry.

Timeskip 8 years old, under the basement

I was waking up and looked around a bit as I saw Zwei was gone meaning he left as always which is good cause I wouldn't want him to get in trouble all because of me. I looked down feeling... different and why... cause I'm not myself anymore... I'm just a lost soul that the world hates that no one cares about and would never care about. I then heard the door opening and when I looked up I saw Taiyang, he walked down to me looking mad as always so... what's new?

Tai: Get up now and make us breakfast!

I got up on my feet not even bothering to say something or anything to him but it seems that this only made him mad cause he soon punched me in the stomach making me fall on my knees and hold my stomach in pain.

Tai: Do I make myself clear!!!

Y/N: *Weakly talk* Y-yes s-sir.

Tai: Good.

I got back on my feet and began to walk up stairs but slowly since the pain was really bad. Taiyang then kicked me down to the floor when I got up and also because I was in his way. I see the whole family there on the table waiting for me to make them breakfast.

Y/N Thinking: Weird that I, an 8 year old, knows how to cook... at least I have more skills then Taiyang, Qrow, Summer, Raven and my two so called Sisters Ruby and Yang.

I finally made them their Eggs and Pancakes as they all ate it, I was about to leave but I then noticed that Summer winced about the pain from the coffee I made for her. I turned around to face her and saw the angriest look on her face.

Summer: Agh! *growls in anger* Y/N!

Y/N: Y-yes m-ma.

I got interrupted by Summer slapping me across the right cheek and made me fall down to the floor. I began to tear up but inside I didn't want to cry as what's the point of crying when they don't give two fucks about me.

Summer: *Shouts in anger* My coffee is too hot! *Walks to Y/N* What the hell were you thinking!? Because of you I burn my Fucking tongue!!!

Y/N: *Shaking in fear* I-I'm so-sorry, I d-di-didn't k-know.

Summer: Sorry!? You're sorry!? You know just for that you're getting a punishment!!!

Summer threw her coffee at me as it hit my right eye. I cried in pain from the burning liquid that hit the inside of my right eye and not only that I could hear Summer laughing at my pain knowing that a devil woman like herself enjoys my pain.

Summer: That's what you get, enjoy the pain you little brat!!!

I kept crying which made it worse for my right eye but with my left eye I saw Ruby and Yang having those Devil smirks on their face. I saw them holding two plates which I knew what they were planning, I shake my head for no but they just kept smirking at me and nodded their heads before they slammed the plates to the ground which the plates shattered into pieces.

Yang/Ruby: *Shout* DAD!!! Y/N BROKE SOME PLATES!!!

I started to hear some foot stomping coming into the kitchen on my way. As I turned around I saw Tai which of course it would be him but still I shake in fear knowing I would be in a world of pain.

Tai: *Angry as fuck* You little shit!!!

He raised his fist at me and that was when he punched me so hard on the face that I felt my nose break. Tai didn't stop as he grabbed me by the hair and gave me one of those knees to the face which broke one of my teeth. Tai kept on holding me by the hair as he dragged me to the basement and threw me in my cage.

Tai: You are staying down here in that damn cage where you belong! I hope your happy cause now you aren't getting any fucking food you stupid worthless shit!!!

Taiyang then walked back upstairs with the others as I was crying. I was weak, broken, and covered in blood. The only thing that was coming in my head was.

Y/N Thinking: Why? Today is my birthday and all I get is the worst fucking pain in my 8th birthday... I wish... I was dead to end this so could life that the gods gave me... what kind of god would let me, a child have this pain... I hate life, I hate joy, I hate everything... who am I... I'm nothing.

I could hear everyone upstairs laughing and having fun why I stayed in this hell whole. I then heard them all leaving the house as I was now all alone... as always and what was worse I was hungry cause Summer and Taiyang didn't let me eat something yesterday and today. I held my stomach in pain before I saw Zwei and he was dragging his dog bowl with... a stake and some fruits. Zwei dragged it close to my age before barking and sat down. I cried again but with joy as I kept looking at him.

Y/N: Z-Zwei *sobbing* is this f-for... me?

Zwei barked at me as he nodded his head meaning yes. Words couldn't say how happy I was to have someone in this world care about me. I cried even harder as I didn't deserve this from my Zwei. All my years he was the only one to care for me, he was the only one to have ever shown any care about me.

Y/N: T-Thank you... T-thank you so *sobbing* M-much, Z-Zwei.

I'm glad that I could have someone like him and I'm glad that Zwei was always there for me. Happy birthday... to me and... to my only true family, Zwei.

Timeskip

I woke up after having something good to eat from Zwei and again I didn't see him around but I didn't care all I could care about was that he will always be the one family I am going to love... and miss. But inside I was depressed as I gave up... not on Zwei more like on the world cause if I were to die right here right now... then I would be happy and smile once again cause then I would be in the afterlife where all the pain and sadness would go away. I then heard the door open and saw Qrow, Ruby, and Yang coming in with something in their hands.

Ruby: *Gloats in Y/N's face* Look at what Yang and I got from Uncle Qrow.

Yang was holding a yellow bracelet that she soon got them to turn into gauntlets. Ruby got a red cloak and a red as well as black scythe. I then looked the other way and ignored them cause I didn't really care, after all they have been doing this for about 3 years.

3rd POV

Yang: *Gets angry* Hey! Don't you dare ignore us!

Ruby: Maybe he's sad that he didn't get something as always.

Y/N kept ignoring them all as he didn't care for what they had to say to him before Qrow opened his cage and grabbed him as he let him out of the cage.

Qrow: Get your ass upstairs *Y/N ignores him* Hey I said get your ass up now!

Qrow then kicked Y/N in the stomach as he held it while falling on his knees and looked down on the ground.

Y/N: O-okay s-sir.

Yang: Look at you, you cant even stand the pain

Y/N Thinking: Is not the pain that I can't handle... it this family that I can't handle you dumb cow.

Y/N, Yang, Ruby, and Qrow walked upstairs to the living room where Tai, Summer, and Raven were. They looked at Y/N with in Evil grind on their face as this made Y/N feel scared inside.

Summer: Thank you, Qrow for bringing Yang and Ruby's play toy.

Y/N Thinking: *Scared* Play toy? What the hell does she mean?

Qrow: No problem Sum, now Tai ready *sees Tai nodding his head for yes*

Without wasting any second both Taiyang and Qrow grabbed Y/N by the arm and legs. Taiyang had then hanged Y/N and even tied him to the wall so he wouldn't escape. Qrow hand then told Yang and Ruby to get their weapons. This made Y/N eyes widen as he was more scared now and was shaking.

Y/N Thinking: What the hell are they going to do with their weapons!?

Tai: Now how about we show this trash how much of a worthless shit he is *smirks in a dark way*

Without any hesitation the Rose, Xiao Long, and Branwen started to cut and punched the poor hopeless Y/N. Y/N scream and shout all that night asking and begging for them to stop but nothing, none of them stop, they all liked the sound of Y/N screaming. Summer then pointed her scythe at Y/N's right eye and said.

Summer: Tell me Y/N do you really need your right eye? Because to me it seems that you can't see out of it.

Y/N shakes in more fear as he looked at her scythe that was really close to his right eye.

Y/N Thinking: She can't be serious can she? I mean I know this family is CRAZY AS FUCK but there not that crazy!

Summer: *Smirks in a crazy way* Now tell me do you need it YES OR NO!?

Y/N: *Shouts out of anger* YES, YES, I DO YOU DUMB BITCH!!!

At that moment Y/N knew he really fucked because without any hesitation Summer and the rest of the family started cutting and punching him again but this time without any mercy. Y/N the young boy that once believed in hope now believed in death because in this moment all he could feel was the cold floor, nothing else but he knew they wouldn't let him die but would let him live in pain and misery. Before Y/N could pass out he heard what the family said to him.

All the family: Just die you worthless trash no one loves you and no one will ever love you.

Timeskip Y/N PROV (location in the basement)

I started to wake up after what felt like a long hour. I felt a lot of pain all over my body but the most pain I felt was the one in my right eye. I held my right eye as I looked around and saw the mirror but... I wish I didn't see my reflection cause when I saw myself I saw blood on my right eye and I slowly removed my hand I saw... I saw...

Y/N: N-no... w-why?

In my reflection I saw that Summer had done what she asked me... she cut my fucking right eye. I... I cried and cried... I guess they were right... I was nothing but a weak, worthless, crying punching bag. They kept on healing me all so they could keep on hurting me. I punched the mirror out of anger which was stupid cause this only my hand bleed but I didn't care... I just didn't.

Y/N: FUCK!!! They keep on healing me and for what so they can torture me!? Why can't they let me die? That's all I want! I don't want to live in this hell hole no more, I want to die, I want to be with them...My mommy and daddy... if they are there.

I started to pack up the only thing that I have... which wasn't much, all I have is a rip jacket that I always wear and clothing I was wearing right and always. I walked to the window and punched the glass with the same hand that I punched the window and I don't know why but... I like the pain. When I got myself out of the basement and got out free for once... I knew what Freedom looked like. As I was walking I heard a whimpering noise that made me turn around and that was when I saw... Zwei.

Y/N: Zwei... how's it going buddy?

I smiled at him because I knew this would be the last time I see him. But this only made me remember the first time he saved me, it was a nice thing he did for me and I 'll never forget that day... not even if I die.

Flashback Age 5

I was sent to my "Room" because my so called "Sisters" broke another fucking window, plates, and glass cups. Taiyang was done beating the shit out of me and calling me fucking names cause that's what he was and will be good at. As I was walking I saw Yang and Ruby giving me the same evil smirk in the face. I hated my life because of them. I Was in my "room" hungry, hurt, and just depressed but then I saw Zwei who walked to me holding a med kit and some fruits. I was happy but then I felt that Yang and Ruby were just playing a sick game with me.

Y/N thinking: Just ignore him Y/N don't let them have fun tricking you.

I turned my head the other way but Zewi got closer to me as he placed the med kit and fruit in front of me. I turned to see it and looked at Zwei.

Y/N: *Confused look* Zwei... is this for... me?

I asked him as he then barked at me and nodded, I was surprised that he would do this for me. I gave him a hug as he licked my face. I was happy that he cared about me more than anyone in the family... I was loved... that's all I would ever ask and Zwei gave it to me.

Flashback over back in reality

Zwei: *Whimpers in sadness*

Y/N: I'm sorry buddy but... I have to leave *tearing up* please understand that I don't belong here... I'm nothing here so please... understand, Zwei.

I started to walk away with tears cause I was leaving the only one I would ever call a family but then I saw him walking next to me so I stopped walking and he stopped walking as well. I looked down not even looking at him.

Y/N: Zwei... stay, you can't come with me... this is something I must do alone. Please Zwei, I don't want to lose the one I love... you're the only one that cared for me and I don't want to lose you so please... stay... please.

I said sadly to him but I smiled as I pulled out a black bandana out of my jacket pocket. I started to wrap it around Zwei as I teared up a bit more but kept on smiling.

Y/N: I want you to have this black bandanna cause you look amazing in black and... one more thing.

When I was done wrapping the bandanna around his neck and making sure it didn't hurt him, I placed him on my lap and rubbed his back and scratched his ears in a nice and gentle way. I looked at the moon and smiled as I took a deep breath and then started to sing.

When I stopped singing I looked at Zwei who fell asleep on my lap, I smiled before taking him off my lap and gently placing him on the ground. I got up from the ground and started to walk into the forest knowing that Zwei would be okay and nothing bad would happen to him. I also left something for the "Family" cause why not it's not like I'll see them ever again... nor anyone I believe. About what felt like half an hour I was deep in the forest. I was cold, hungry, and tired that I was ready to relax under the tree but I heard something. I was scared that it was my "family" but no it was worse it was 3 Beowolf. I once read in a book that they can find their target by location, their negative emotion which... I had. They soon saw me and I got really scared that I began to run for my life. I didn't bother looking back cause why would I ever look back to my death... death. They kept on chasing me and getting closer and closer by every run but that was until one of them jumped behind me. All I could do was wait for the slow and painful death that was waiting for me. They all began to bite my body and even scratched me which made me bleed a lot but... I smiled, I didn't know why but that's all I could do, just... smile.

Y/N Thinking: Is this really how I die? By having Beowolf eat me? I guess this is the end for me... Zwei... I'm sorry for not staying with you and I'm sorry for not taking you but... this was the right choice... I'm glad you were the one to make me smile the most in my life... Goodbye.

I teared up, closed my eyes, and smiled out of joy that this pain that I always had was now going to be over and no one was going to hurt me again.

3rd POV

The Beowolf kept on biting the poor boy until someone came out of nowhere.

???: Cyclone!

The mystery figure took down all 3 Beowolf like it was nothing but once they were all out the mystery person looked at the H/C boy.

???: *Worry tone* Dear God! Young boy are you okay, say something. *Grabs Y/N* You need help but please stay with me!

The mystery person held Y/N tightly before running fast to get him some help. The Mystery person was worried for Y/N and was hoping that he'll be okay.

Timeskip Location (Deep within the forest of Dragon Valley)

It has been an hour and 15 minutes since the Mysterious Person has helped the young boy who named Y/N, right now the person was getting up to what seemed to be a Treehouse. The Mysterious Person went to open the door but then started to hear talking inside.

???: And then a White Fang showed up and got his a-*gets interrupted*

???2: *Shout in a worry tone* Carol! I need your help please!

The one who's called Carol seemed to be confused as she got off the couch and sighed because her friend was shouting in the house like a mad Woman.

Carol: Lilac please calm down and lower your voice. The kids are trying to sleep and *Notice the H/C boy on Lilac's arms* Oh my god! What happened to this boy!?

Lilac: I found him in the forest on the island of Patch in the Kingdom of Vale and he was being attacked by Beowolf.

???: Lilac, can you please keep it down and that goes for you too Carol.

???2: Please the kids are trying to sleep and *gets interrupted*

The two other then looked at the H/C by that Lilac was still holding in her arms. Both of them were confused and worried when they saw how injured he was.

Lilac: Milla, Neera please help him or he might die!

The two that are called Mill and Neera nodded in agreement as Lilac took Y/N to the couch, Carol went to get some warm water and towels to clean the blood off of him, Neera went to look for some bandages and Milla was grabbing some medicine to make sure the wounds are clean. Now back in the Rose/Xiao Long/Branwen house, Summer Rose was having a nightmare about Y/N.

Summer POV Nightmare

I was having a nice and peaceful dream that it was lovely and noting bad was going on. I saw Ruby and Yang playing around with Zwei while Qrow, Taiyang, and Raven were all cooking something in the grill but then the whole thing changed and it was nothing but pitch black.

Summer: *Confuse* W-where am I? What's going on?

???: *Weak tone* I-I'm so-sorry... p-please for g-give me.

I looked back to see where the sound of that voice came from and why it sounded familiar. I was getting closer and close to the sound and I started to hear it a lot better but when I got close to it I saw something that terrified me.

Nightmare Summer: Why can't you stay down and die!? No one in this family loves you, not even your real parents!

I was terrified at what I was looking at which was ME. What was I doing and who am I yelling at is all I could think of. I wanted to see who or what the other me was yelling at but I couldn't move, I was now stuck and all I could do was hear what the other me was yelling at or who she was yelling at.

Nightmare Summer: Just die already and stay dead forever!

I saw lots of blood on the floor and when the other me was done doing what looked like punching something but when she moved out the way I saw who it was and it made me cry cause it was...

Summer: *Shouts worry* Y/N! *Tries to get free* Why can I get free!? Please let me go, he needs me!

Nightmare Summer: *Laughs crazy and has an insane smile* HAHAHAHAHA! Need you? No what he needs is to die like you always wanted.

Summer: *Angry look and tone* What? That's not what I want! I love my son and would keep him safe from monsters like you!

I said to my other self with venom in my voice. I was mad that she would say I wanted this to happen to my own son but then she started to laugh again and she grabbed me by the face while having that insane smile.

Nightmare Summer: Love him you say, how stupid do you think I am? When have you ever shown any love to him? And don't you fucking lie to me bitch cause I am you! Meaning I know everything about you!

The other me then showed me something that made me sick to my stomach and that was all the time when I hurt Y/N my own son. There was that time I kicked him in the face, the time I threw him out the house, even the time I shot him. All I could hear was laughter and him crying for forgiveness...for help. My God I'm the worse mother no, I'm the worse fucking being in existence.

Summer: *Scream and tears up* PLEASE STOP NO MORE NO MORE STOPITSTOPITSTOPIT.

3rd POV back to reality

Summer: *Wakes up while tearing up* I SAID STOP IT!!!

Tai: *Wakes up and looks at Summer terrified* Summer is something wrong? It's all okay honey it was all a dream.

Summer: *Looks at Tai with both fear and sadness* No! Yes something is wrong and it wasn't a dream Tai, it was all too real everything I did to him was real I'm a bad person I'm the worst fucking mother Tai!

Tai: *Looks confuse* Summer what are you talking about? What do you mean "him and worst mother?"

Summer: Y/N that who I'm talking about, we hurt him so much and he always wanted to be part of the family but all we do to him is Abuse and Neglect him. I'm a the worst fucking mother Tai, we are a worst fucking FAMILY don't you get it we took his FUCKING EYE AND JUST LEFT HIM UNDER THE BASEMENT!!!

When Taiyang heard all this he couldn't believe what he did. He never once told (Y/N) how much he loves him how much he wanted a son in the family.

Tai: *Low voice* Your right summer...I'm a horrible father to him. I abused him and all he wanted was for me to love him...oh God what have I done? I need to fix this and tell him how sorry I am *Looks at Summer* We need to fix this right now.

Summer and Taiyang got out of bed and go downstairs to the basement to say how sorry they are and how much they will do to fix what they did to him all his life.

Summer: *Open basement door* Y/N we're sorry for what we did please forgive us we promise that we'll treat you better and give you lots of love *hear nothing*

Tai: Y/N please forgive us your mother and I will do whatever it takes for you to love us, I can fix your eye I'll get a Cyborg eye wouldn't that be cool *hear nothing again*

Summer: Son?

When Summer got close to the cage she saw no one in there, she was scared that her son wasn't there nor in the basement.

Summer: *Shouts in a worry tone: TAI HE'S NOT HERE!

Tai: WHAT *runs to the cage* Y/N WHERE ARE YOU!? HE MUST BE HERE HE MUST- *looks at the window* oh no...

Summer: *look at the window* OH MY GOD NOOOO!

Summer was on the ground crying saying how she's a horrible mother. That was when Raven, Qrow, Ruby, and Yang came down the basement. They all looked at Summer and Taiyang.

Qrow: What's going on here *looks at the cage* Where's the kid?

Tai: QROW YOU NEED TO HELP US FIND HIM, HE RAN AWAY PLEASE!

Wants Raven, Qrow, Ruby, and Yang heard this, they all started to feel sad because not only did they lose someone but also because finally the things they did to Y/N was hitting them all in the head showing and telling them all how much of a bad family they were.

Ruby: W-What little bor-brother is gone.

Yang: No this can be, please tell me this isn't true please.

Qrow: Tai stay here with Summer and the girls, Raven and I will look for him, he couldn't gotten far away from here *thinking* kid please be okay I'm sorry for everything but please be okay.

Raven Thinking: Y/N please don't be dead, please be okay. I'm sorry for everything I did to you but please.

While Qrow and Raven were looking for Y/N Taiyang tries to keep Sumner, Yang, and Ruby calm telling them that everything will be ok, but deep down in him he knows that Y/N might never forgive them and if something happens to him he will never forgive himself.

Ruby Thinking: Please be ok Y/N I'm sorry I was a bad sister I promise I will be the best sister just please come back.

Yang Thinking: I'm the worst big sister! Why did I hurt you all those times? Why did I make your life a living hell? Please come back home little bro, please I'll do everything to make you happy and see that smile of yours.

It seems the Rose, Xiao Long, and Branwen have finally seen their mistake but it seems they are too late, how will this all end, how will the story go will Y/N forgive them or will he die will there be a happy ending next time on Freedom-Rwby.
