Sion POV
Misa runs up to me squealing, her arms flailing about as she almost trips on tree roots. "Sisi! Whatcha doing?"

"Relaxing."

"K." She pauses plopping herself down beside me. "Can I sit next to you?"

"You already are though."

"Do you mind me sitting next to you."

"Of course not, where's Nemare?"

"With O-San!" She flashes a bit toothy grin at me. "Misa was booored~"

"Alright then. What do you want to do?"

"Sisi should sing for me! Sing! Sing!" She grabs a twig for me, singing has become one of her favorite hobbies. It was an impulsive sort of fixation but I am always happy to sing for her. I pick up a twig myself.

"Duet?"

"Yeah!!!"

She puffs out her chest, stands up straight before taking a deep breath.

"I promise I'll love you forever as well then. Pinky promise." Our pinkies interlock and our thumbs tap against each other.

"I'll love you forever ok? So will Nemare. Keep on smiling Misa, just keep on smiling."

My words are swallowed by the wind.

I look at Misa, who's humming happily, admiring the scenery from our vantage point. Her smile is contagious and I find myself ruffling her short hair.

I can only hope this blissful happiness lasts.
