Annabeth POV

"Hey Mari," I asked Marinette the next morning after the Zeus incident. "Do you have anything I can borrow for tonight?"

"What's going on tonight?" Marinette asked.

"Percy and I are going out, and I forgot to pack something for dates."

"Yeah, sure." Marinette went to her closet and grabbed a white dress. I saw something fall into the folds of the dress, but ignored it. "Will this work?"

"Yeah. Thanks Mari."

"Welcome." Marinette grabbed her phone and looked at the time. "Oh crap! I'm late!"

"What are you late for?"

"I'm supposed to meet Alya at the park so we can go over a homework assignment. I'll be back soon. My parents are downstairs in the bakery. Tell them where I am if they ask. Bye!" Marinette grabbed her purse and ran out. Then, Marinette ran back in. "Also, Adrien needs to pick up something, so he'll be here in about ten minutes."

"I got this Mari. Just go meet Alya."

"Okay. Bye."

"Bye."

I dug around inside the pockets of the dress until I found the two things that fell in: Marinette's favorite pair of earrings.

"Gods of Olympus, that girl is so clumsy sometimes. I'll give them back to her tonight. I don't want to leave them here where someone can steal them..." I muttered to myself as I put on the dress and earrings.

I heard a knock at the door. I ran downstairs and opened the door to reveal Adrien. "Hey Adrien. What's up?"

"Where's Marinette?" Adrien asked.

"Wow. Not even a hello? Harsh."

"Annabeth..." Adrien growled.

"I'm kidding. She's at the park. She had to meet Alya to go over homework."

"Oh." Adrien looked down. "I forgot."

"She told me you have to go pick something up."

"Yeah. It's in her room. Can I go up and get it?"

"Yeah. Go ahead." I opened the door as Adrien ran upstairs. "Wow. Someone's in a hurry..."

I over by the TV, my phone rang. I answered. "Hello?"

"Hey Beautiful." Percy said on the other end.

"What's up? Don't tell me your canceling on me already."

"I'm not." Percy laughed. "I've just..."

"You've just what?"

"Ran into a complication."

"Does this complication have a name?"

"Dad."

"What? Your dad's actually here?"

"Yeah. He's at the Agreste Mansion right now. Anyway, he said he wants to talk to me about something and I don't know how long this will take. Meet me at the Tower? In front of that statue of the kid holding up the Earth?"

"Yeah sure. I'll be there."

"See you soon. Bye!"

"Bye!"

When I got off the phone, I heard a crash from upstairs. "Adrien, is everything okay?"

Adrien poked his head through the trap door. "Yeah, everything's fine."

"Well can you hurry up! I still have to get ready for my date with Percy!"

"Okay, okay. Chill." Adrien walked down the stairs carrying a picture. "I just had to grab this picture."

"Why?"

"It's..." Adrien hesitated. "Complicated."

"Where did you find that?"

"In Marinette's diary."

"Yeah, okay. I'm sure Mari didn't want you snooping through her diary. So take a picture of it, then put it back in the exact same page and position. I won't tell her if you won't, okay?"

"Okay, fine." Adrien sighed as he trudged up the stairs. A couple minutes later, Adrien walked back down the stairs and left without saying another word.

I walked back upstairs and looked on the desk, next to Marinette's diary, and saw a ring with a trident on the inside. "How did Adrien get Percy's ring?"

I grabbed the ring and slipped it on my thumb as I wrote Marinette a note about her earrings, grabbed my jacket, and walked out the door.

About half way to the tower, I looked down at my dress and saw blue spots on my dress.

"Oh come on!" I complained. "How in Zeus's name did I get these spots on-"

As soon as I said "on", pink light swallowed me whole as my outfit was replaced by red and black spandex. I could feel the mask on my face. "What just happened?"

"Look!" A little boy yelled. "It's Ladybug!"

"Wait, what!?" I shrieked as I realized I was wearing Ladybug's costume.

"Can I get a selfie?"

"Interview for my blog?"

"Let's get her on video!"

"Okay Annabeth. Priorities. Hide now, figure out what the Frigg is going on later." I muttered to my self as I grabbed the yoyo and flew away screaming.

When I landed by the statue I was meeting Percy by, I heard a voice.

Moments Before...

Percy POV

"Hello Percy." I heard a voice. I turned around and saw Dad standing by the door.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I can't just show up randomly to see my son?"

"With your occupation, no." I responded. "People with your occupation either show up because they want something or they want me to do something."

"Okay, you have me there." Dad sighed. "Look Percy, I came to warn you."

"About what?"

"What's to come."

"What's about to come?"

"Something bad."

I rolled my eyes. "That explains so much Dad. Not really."

"What has gotten into you?"

"Nothing Dad. Really."

"In any case, I came to warn you. Your oracle friend, Rachel, she's issued another prophecy."

"Nope." I said, slipping my ring on and off. "I've heard enough. I'm done with prophecys."

"But Percy-"

"But nothing Dad! I want nothing to do with another prophecy!"

"I'm afraid you have no choice. This is the first time she's gotten control of Delphi since the Giant War. This is a big deal Percy."

I sighed. "Okay, you're right. What's this prophecy about?"

"When two demigods steal from the bug and the cat, chaos will reign, no doubt about that. But peace will come back, in time as a matter of fact. It will only come faster, when the butterfly is conquered. We honestly have no idea what it means, but it has to do with you and your girlfriend, Annabeth."

"You gods are smoking something." I said, checking the time. "I have a feeling this is gonna take a while. Mind if I call my girlfriend? We're supposed to be going on a date tonight."

Dad sighed. "Go ahead."

I picked up my phone and dialed Annabeth's number. She picked up on the second ring. "Hello?"

"Hey Beautiful." I responded as I felt Dad breathing down my neck.

"What's up? Don't tell me your canceling on me already."

"I'm not." I laughed. "I've just..."

"You've just what?"

"Never been called that before..." Dad muttered.

"Dad."

"Well, I never-"

"Dad," I turned towards him and glared slightly.

"What? Your dad's actually here?"

"Bye!" I hung up the phone.

"Was that so hard Dad?"

"Look, I should get going. I've already overstayed my visit."

I sighed. "Look Dad, I'm sorry. It's just that, every time you come to visit, it's always about how I'm supposed to save the world and all that. Can you honestly expect me to not be sour when you come to visit?"

"I know, I know. We need to have more pleasant visits, which I hope to have in the future."

"Me too."

Dad sighed. "Godspeed Percy. Godspeed."

"Yeah, same here."

Dad smiled as he shrunk into water and evaporated away.

I slipped my phone into my pocket as I slipped on the ring and walked out the front door.

As I was waiting for the stop light to turn green so I could cross, I heard a small voice whisper, "Claws out."

"Claws out?" I asked as I got swallowed in green light. When it faded, I was wearing a black cat suit with a pole.

"Mama! Look!" Yelled a little boy. "It's Chat Noir!"

"Daddy, why is Chat Noir's hair black?" Asked a little girl.

"Hey look! It's the guy who tried to steal the Mona Lisa!" Yelled one of the adults.

"I don't know who you guys are talking about," I said, angling the pole towards the ground, surprising me that I was being lifted to the roof. "But let's get one thing straight: whoever you're talking about, it's not me. You got the wrong guy in a cat suit."

I ran across the rooftops until I made it to the tower. I landed in front of the statue I was meeting Annabeth at as I saw a person in red spandex land on the other side. I immediately knew it was Annabeth. But just to make sure...

"Annabeth?" I asked. "It that you?"

Sure enough, Annabeth turned around and looked at me. "Percy?"
