Josh is shy. He doesn't like being in the spotlight. He's not a showman like Tyler.
But there are signs. Fidgeting. Shifty eyes. Anxious expressions. Red, puffy eyes and noses in obscure behind-the-scenes videos. Repeating the same song for hours on Spotify at 4am. Stuttering. Looking at Tyler for reassurance. "I'm glad you're alive" messages from his sisters. Being taken advantage of because he is kind.
Tyler watches him. Tyler is protective of him. Tyler goes out of his way to make sure Josh is comfortable. They rely on each other.
Tyler isn't the only one with a blurryface. Josh has demons too.
