I hadn't spoke to Jess since last night, but I didn't stop thinking about her at all. I'm so pathetic like I'm acting like I am 5 but trust me I am way more mature than the typical 17 year old, well I have to be, but she takes my mind off things and that's exactly what I need right now. A distraction.
'Noah' my mom screeched from downstairs, God she can be loud sometimes, 'Hurry Up... You'll be late.'
'I'm coming' I said although she couldn't hear me due to her being in a different room. As I walked into the kitchen to get my breakfast I saw Jess stood their with an alder woman with dark brown hair, who I presume is her mother.
'Ahh Marie this is Noah, Noah this is Marie and Jess from next door, Jess actually goes to your..' I cut her off quite quickly.
'We've met.' I look at her and smile and she giggles quietly.
'Oh.' My mom said. 'This is Jess you went out with yesterday?'
'Yeah' she replied.
'Nice to meet you Marie' I said charmingly as always. I've already won her daughter over.
'You too.' She said.  She confused me did she like me or not? Humm I'll have to keep trying to win her over. 'Jess, do you want a lift to school? You'll be late' Marie asked.
'I'll take her.' Oh my god I am so embarrassing why did I burst like that? 'I mean if you want?'
'Sure' Jess giggled. I seem to have this affect on her.

We arrived at school just in time, and as usual there were my friends stood in a group around the same bench as always. Noah turned off the engine and just sat there is silence for a minute.
'So...'
'So...' I replied. 'Shall we go in?' He looked nervous for some reason but I don't know why. We were just friends. I could never fall for someone. Not now I'm too busy with school I'm graduating in 6 months. Hopefully.
'Yeah before we are late now that wouldn't give anyone a good impression of me. Meet me back here at 3? I'll drop you back home.'
'As long as it's not too out of your way.' I replied. Oh I'm so funny.

3 periods later and Lunch finally arrived. I hate Tuesdays. I have double Literature and that isn't good for anyone. As I walk into the cantine I see my best friend Zoey. 'Hey Zo!' I exclaim as I run up to her and give her a big hug.
'Hey Jess, what happened to you last night? You didn't come out with me and the girls.'
'Oh yeah.' I replied.' I met up with the new kid Noah to show him around.' Why did I feel embarrassed to tell her this?
'Oooooh just show him around huh?' She said and nudged me with a wink. I looked around the cantine and my eyes met Noah. He was sat there with a familiar figure.
'Yes that's all' I replied to Zoey.
'Jess? Why are you blushing then?' She laughed.
'What? Shut up you such an idiot.' I rolled my eyes and walked away and over to Noah. But when I arrived I saw him say there with CJ?
'Hey Jess.' Noah said patting the seat next to him to come sit down.
'Little sis.' CJ got up to mess up my hair. Ahhhh brothers.
'I'm older than you.' I moaned just because he was taller than me didn't make me his little sister.
'Wait. Your brother and sister?' He looked so confused it was hilarious. For a smart kid the smallest things truly baffled him.
'This is my Twin Jess.' CJ said proudly and so he should I am the greatest twin around. 'How do you two know each other?'
'Noah lives next door.' I replied I didn't want him to know about our 'safe' it might make things awkward between them and Noah needs to make some friends.
'Looks like good things do happen.' Wonder what he meant by that, Noah seems like he is hiding something and I am going to find out what.
