chapter eleven,
you had a sex dream

    "Oh my god!" Winnie squealed as she bolts awake from her steamy, very vivid dream of Min Ho and her.

    She runs out of her bedroom, "Get up!" She tried to wake her up, but Kitty put a pillow over his face trying to ignore her.

    "Kitty, you need to wake up!" she pushed the girl again.

    "Kitty, did you drink my collagen water?" Min Ho appeared from the fridge. "Or was it you.." he squinted his eyes.

    "What? No." Winnie dismissed him, turning back around to Kitty.

    "My collagen water is meant to keep my skin dewy." Min Ho complained as he continued on. "Not rehydrate people who can't handle their liquor."

    "My god, why are you screaming!" Kitty groaned as she held her hand to her forehead. "It's the middle of the night and I'm still drunk."

    "No, it's not. It's 8:00 in the morning. Thanks to some idiot, my party dynasty had come to an untimely end, so has I am in a mood."

    "Are you in a mood to make me some coffee?" Kitty smiled, hoping Min Ho would say yes.

    "Yes, but I will deeply resent you." Min Ho gave in. "I can live with that." Kitty giggled, grabbing a pillow and cuddling it.

    "Hey, Kitty. Can I ask you something?" Winnie spoke up softly.

    "Yes, I drank his collagen water." Kitty put a finger to her mouth, telling Winnie to keep quiet.

    "No, not that." Winnie shook her head.

    "Then no, Wins. I'm too tired for your questions. I was up all night because of you." Kitty shooed her away.

    "I was loud? How loud? Like loud how?" Winnie began to panic, already thinking of the worst. "Was I talking in my sleep? Because people say all kinds of crazy things in their sleep."

    "Shush. No you were not talking, you were snoring as usual." Kitty pushed Winnie's face away.

    "Because I had a little too much to drink last night and drink people do tons of things they don't normally do, like snore. And have really weird dreams."

    As soon as Winnie mentioned weird dreams, Kitty sat up instantly. "You had a sex dream. Was it about that guy you were kissing at the party?"

    "No, Shut up!" Winnie shushed her best friend, she prayed that Min Ho didn't happen to hear that.

    A wide grin appeared on Kitty's lips, "So you did?" She asked again.

    "No. I never said that I had a sex dream." Winnie brushed it off as Min Ho walked over and handed the mug to her to give to Kitty.

    "But it really doesn't matter, like remember that one time when I dreamt that you put pineapple on my pizza and I happily ate it. See, they don't mean anything." Winnie tried to justify the situation.

    "She's right! They don't mean anything. You can have a sex dream about someone you're absolutely repulsed by." Min Ho added to the conversation.

    "Sure, exactly. That's like if Min Ho had a sex dream about, like.. me." Winnie half joked, as she spoke Min Ho choked on his drink.

    "You had sex dream about Winnie." Kitty smiled, making Winnie's eyes widen.

    "No, I didn't." Min Ho said quickly. "If I did have a sex dream about Winnie, it'd be a sex nightmare."

    "Oh, okay." Winnie voice turned high pitched, feeling super uncomfortable in the moment.

    "Uh okay, all I'm hearing right now are two liars." Kitty scrunched her face and took a sip of her coffee.

    "It doesn't matter, dreams don't mean anything." Min Ho fumed, still trying to convince Kitty.

    Kitty and Winnie enter the library, and everybody was already sitting in their seats quietly doing their work.

    "I told you we were gonna be late!" Winnie groaned.

    Lee holds out his hand, awaiting for the two to give him their phones.

     Winnie hurried to find an empty seat. But, there were no more free seats since Kitty sat down next to some girl, so Winnie had no choice but to sit next to Min Ho.

"Nope. You are not sitting here." Min Ho refused.

Winnie gave him a look, "Seriously? There's not other seats left, where else am I supposed to sit?"

Min Ho looked around the room, his eyes landed on Madison. "Madison!" He called out to her and she immediately stood up at his command, running over to him.

"Swap seats with Winnie here." He instructed. Madison was quick to sit down in Winnie's spot, "Sorry." Madison shrugged off.

    Winnie didn't bother to talk back, instead she found that Madison's seat was next to Lia so at least it wasn't someone bad.

    "Hey," Winnie says softly as she pulls out the chair next to to Lia. "Hi." She replies.

"And thank you Ms Song Covey. who alerted me about last night's shenanigans." Lee said to the students.

    "It was you?" Winnie heard Min Ho screech at Kitty from across the room.

    "This could be fun, though. Like The Breakfast Club, right?" Kitty wearily smiles.

    All the students surrounding her give her an are you joking? type of look. As Kitty glanced around at everyone, she slowly sinked down in her chair.

"So, you ended up going to Min Ho's party last night?" Winnie asked Lia as she opened a textbook in front of her.

"Uh, yeah. I guess, I only showed up at the end when Lee showed up." Lia explained as wrote in her notebook.

"Miss Kim. Miss Morris. No taking please." Lee directed, pointing his finger.

"Sorry." the two girls say in unison.

What felt like hours had passed but finally Lee had been 'needed at the gymnasium' and left the library. Madison had been left in charge and was the coordinator for what she liked to call it Saturday Detention.

Even though it was just regular detention that happened to land on a saturday.

    Winnie planned on hanging around Kitty but while she wasn't looking she had left with Yuri. She could've sat and talked with Lia again but she didn't feel like bothering the girl.

    She would've sat with Q and Florian – but she hates third wheeling. Winnie began to roam the library.

    She wasn't much of a reader but she would read at least four books a year. As she searched around to find something interesting, she interrupted Min Ho and Madison's make out session.

    "Oh my god, I'm sorry." Winnie immediately said as she spun around.

    "Morris! Why are you always following me?" Min Ho complained.

    Winnie furrowed her eyebrows, "I'm not! You just happened to be in the middle of my path." she tried to explain.

    "Your path? This isn't a walk way.. we're literally sitting in an inclosed space." Madison frowned, speaking up.

    "You're so right.. my mistake." Winnie says sarcastically as she slowly walks backwards away from the pair.

    "He's coming!" The boy who was on look out alerts everyone.

    "Oh, assume your positions." Madison called out and everybody rushed back to their seats.

    Lee enters the room after everyone had quickly made it back to their seats. Winnie flips a page as she looked around the room.

    She slightly frowned as she realized that Kitty wasn't back in her seat yet.

    "Thank you, Miss Miller. It looks like you kept everything under control." Lee nodded.

    "My pleasure." Madison grinned.

    Lee holds up the pile of clipboards, "Lunch time. Write down your orders. Get them back to me as quickly as possible. Feel free to stretch your legs, your arms, whatever needs stretching."

    Lee hands out the clipboards to each table, Lia writes her order, so does Winnie. They briefly talk as Lee he begins the roll call.

    Winnie shoots Q a look as Lee begins to read to roll call. Q gestures for her to come and sit with them. She quickly hurries over to them, "They're not here yet. He's going to catch them."

    "I have an idea." Florian contributed.

    Florian's plan somehow worked and distracted Lee from Kitty and Yuri. He had convinced Lee to go back to his home and grab a comic for Florian.

But, the upside of this entire plan was that Kitty and Yuri happened to be inside Lee's house. They had to come up quick with an alternative plan that would work.

    Q talked to Kitty through his smartwatch, alerting them that Lee would be at home. "What do we do?" Winnie asked concerned.

    "I don't know, but Kitty and Yuri better get here before Lee does." Q says as he ends the call with Kitty.

    Minutes passed and Lee was back walking into the library. Winnie rushed to her seat and couldn't help but worry.

    "Students, roll call. Mihee." Lee begins to read out loud.

    As he does, almost in time Kitty and Yuri show up. They crouch behind a bookshelf and catches the attention of Q and Florian.

    Along the room, the word travels from Q to Dae and Min Ho to Winnie. "Do something!" Kitty mouths to her best friend.

    Winnie deeply sighed as she thought of an excuse. She raises her hand, "Professor Lee?"

    The professor looks up from his clipboard. "I have an emergency." Winnie says.

    "Yes?"

    "Uh.. it's more of a personal emergency." She says in a whispery tone. Lee sighed before making his way to where Winnie sat.

    She whispered in his ear her emergency and while she distracted him, Kitty and Yuri snuck over to their seats.

    "Miss Morris would like to inquire if any of the girls here— any of the women.. women here, have any lady supplies she can borrow— have."

    "I've got tampons!"

    "I have pads!"

    Girls around the library called out, holding out the products. "Thank you!" Winnie beamed as she took them from their hands.

    As Winnie walked out of the library, she gave a wink to Kitty. Thank you she mouths to her and Winnie gives her thumbs up in response.
