I guess meeting Jean isn't bad
We went out of the library to meet the Acting Grand Master Jean that was about next door. At that moment, as I said before, I was really excited to meet a five-star in real life, besides Aether.
I don't know if Tuonto would be jealous, but based on his type, I think he won't. But still, I would tell him if I were to use YouTube, find one of his vids and just say 'Hey, I met Jean irl. Not voice actor. The actual Jean' and just show a picture with me, Aether, Paimon and Jean. Hopefully he understands what the hec was going on. Haven't done that yet, though. Probably should've.
Anywaays...when we arrived at the door of the office, Aether gently but firmly knocked the door. "Come in," a voice inside said. I immediately recognised the voice: It was Jean's voice. Slowly, Aether, Paimon and me went inside.
Jean then noticed me going inside, and asked, "It seems like we have another friend of the Traveller here. I've heard about you from the guards." Welp, it seemed like the news came to her quickly. Probably 'cause the guards standing outside is very close to Jean's office.
"Please, take a seat," Jean said. There were a few chairs, so me and Aether sat on one of them. Since Paimon floats, though, there's no need to give her a seat.
Before anything started, though, I wanted to check on Jean's stats, since I had the power to do so. I checked it, and sure enough, it showed.

Jean is already strong enough to be intimidating. Her Crit Rate and Damage is enough for the crits to actually happen, so if someone's messing with Jean, they would get painful crit hits. Her constellation, however, I don't wanna tell... Thankfully, I wasn't fighting her.
We started the conversation with Jean saying, "Your name is Kathlyne, correct?" which I nodded, replying with a yes. "The guards told me that you were unconscious before meeting the Traveller and Paimon. If so, have you remembered anything that happened before you became unconscious?"
I didn't want to lie, but if I say the truth, they might not believe me. But alas, I replied with, "I was in a different place before I went to Monstadt. If I remember correctly, I was in a different part of Monstadt before suddenly becoming unconscious. Then when I woke up, I was near this city, and that's when I met Aether and Paimon."
Some of those are untrue, obviously, as before I teleported into this world, I was having a normal life in my world. Doing classes, talking to friends, playing games, etc...And then the moment I took a nap, I was here. For the sake of no suspiscion, however, I cannot tell them.
"Kathlyne was unconscious for a while when we met her," Paimon added. "She also murmured some things, like sleeptalking." Really, huh? "Most of the words she mumbled were very unclear," Aether said. "But the only one we heard from her was 'Come on...just a few minutes...they're not yet...here...'."
"I see..." Jean said. "It seemed like she was talking to someone during her dreams." I wasn't sure what I meant at first, but then I remembered: Wasn't that me telling my parents to stay with me longer as a child? It was at a party...my birthday party. Or at least that's what I thought.
"Hmm...now that I thought about it..." Jean started. "You look like that one traveller from the history book at the library..." "Oh, I think I've read that book," I said, pretty sure that it was the book she was mentioning. "I think that chapter was...'The Universal Traveller', correct?"
Paimon looked interested, then saying, "Oo, Paimon thinks that the book Kathlyne read was the same as what Master Jean read as well!" "You might be right, Paimon," Aether agreed. "So it seems," Jean agreed as well. Now I wanna ask her a question so bad.
"M-Master Jean?" I said, stuttering a little bit, for some reason. "Yes, Miss Kathlyne?" Jean replied. It's probably the time.
"Do you think...I'm the Universal Traveller?" I asked confidently. Dunno why, but I have a feeling of something weird and important going on, and that it's my own responsibility. Everyone was silent for a while, before Jean replied, "It's possible. Maybe your unconsciousness came from your warping into this world, but because of your memory loss side-effect, you would think that you were just a traveller from this world."
Aether and Paimon were in shock from her response. She knew that I might be the one. However, that doesn't cover the question, as from her tone, she's just guessing. "I am not so sure from that statement," Jean started. "However, with the similarities going on, it's very much likely for you to be the missing traveller. The only other possible way to know is by asking the Archons for answers." Paimon was very visibly in shock, while saying, "A Universal Traveller?! Thay's so cool!" "Though it might not be true," Aether said. "It's something to think about as a mystery. We don't have an actual answer, and that the similarities could be a coincidence, but soon, we will find the answer."
"Wait, you sound like you're gonna travel with me to the other nations to find the answer..." I said. I REALLY don't wanna let him go through another painful journey just to find the answer whether or not I'm the legendary 'Universal Traveller'. I really don't. "It's ok if I have to travel the whole world just to find one answer," Aether said. "Besides, this is what my sister would've done as well..."
'My sister', he said. Lumine. If I remember correctly, he had done the second Dainsleif quest already, based on his tone when saying those words. Freek, if I were him, and Lumine was my siblings, we would be like 'Wassup man, how's it goin'? Doin' good on that side of the world?' and just be chill about it. That doesn't happen in this world, sadly. It's all serious.
"Thanks for your offer, but..." I want to say no need, but when I thought about it: Venti, Zhongli and Raiden are all Archons, and the answers might've been with them. "I am happy to go to an adventure with you, Aether. And you as well, Paimon," I said, happily.
"Well, if you're going to find the answer, then I wish you good luck," Jean said. "May your travels be protected by the Archons watching over you." "Thank you, Master Jean," I thanked. "We'll get going now."
"Bye, Master Jean!" Paimon said, waving to her before getting out. "I'll see yoy in the future, Jean," Aether said, before going out of the office. Then, Jean was alone in her office. "*sigh* Time to go back to work..." she said to herself.
We went out of the headquarters to get fresh air. Then Paimon asked something to me, "Kathlyne? If you are the 'Universal Traveller' Jean mentioned, then does that mean you have to leave soon?" To which I replied, "Well, we have to know if I am the Universal Traveller, first. If yes, then I do have to leave soon. If no, then I can stay with you two all the time."
"Well, that's news," Aether said. "Anyways, since we need to find the Archons for answers, why don't we start off with Barbatos? For some info, Barbatos is the Archon God of Anemo, the wind element." "I see...well, do you know where he or she is?" I asked, probably guessing in a bar or something.
"Follow me, then," Aether replied. "I know where to go." "Where again?" Paimon asked, confused. He whispered to Paimon's ears, then saying, "Ohhhh, that place! Ok! Kathlyne, let's go!"
"Wha-" I started to say, before Aether swooped my hands, holding tightly, and saying, "It's best to hurry. Otherwise, he might not be there anymore!" "H-Hey!" I said, pretending to be shocked on what's going on. Of course we're going to that place. Why wouldn't he be there?
Will Venti have the answer? Will I be the one everyone once knew and loved? If so, then doesn't that mean once I get back home, 500 years later, I can't see those characters ever again?
(Extra)
Kathlyne: "Hey, isn't Venti the drunk bard and also Barbatos?"
Me: "Mhm. He is."
Kathlyne: "Ok, I guess...maybe he's in Angel's Share to get drunk..."
Me: "Exactly the point. C'mon now, Kathlyne! When he's done being drunk, he might not be there anymore! *grabs Kathlyne's hand* Here we goo!"
Kathlyne: "H-Hey! Too fast!"
