A wild Abyss Mage appeared

We went out of the city of Monstadt in order to go to Liyue. We went into some fights, with all of them being me chillin' in the back, since, ya know, I didn't have a weapon that time. After those fights, Aether actually offered to give me a weapon to use for awhile, but I decided to decline since I had never fought with a weapon before. For my OC, yes, but I was me, even when controlling my fictional character, and I didn't know how to wield a weapon at the time.

Moving on with the story, while doing some parkour and stuff, the usual, we went past through one of the Statue of the Sevens. Then I asked Aether, "You know about teleportation, right? How about we just...teleport immediately to Liyue? By using that statue over there?" He and Paimon were staring at me in confusion for awhile.

Then I realized what I just said in front of them, and went, "Oh, I was just joking...I knew that we couldn't teleport to Liyue that easily. I guess travelling could be harder than usual..." The two then went onwards, kinda ignoring what I just said. Then I heard Aether whispering to himself, "I wish I could do that..." while looking at the Statue of the Seven for a while. Wow. Both of them really did sacrificed their whole energy bars to the fullest to go to each places. Now I felt bad to even know that painful truth, since in-game, players would simply click the waypoints and boom, they were at their destination.

With all that said, though, after a few hours of walking, running, fighting, and more, we arrived at the one place around Liyue: Wangshu Inn. We were at the Liyue borders. Finally, after all the walking...but Aether wasn't exhausted one bit. I guess he was used to all the walking. Paimon and me were kinda exhausted. Kinda.

"Phew, that was a long trip to here!" Paimon said with visible exhaustion. "Paimon wants to rest now..." "Okay, then, when we actually go inside the inn," Aether said. I nodded as well. We then went inside the inn, greeting some people along the way. And then this one woman who works in Wangshu Inn, Verr Goldet, greeted us as well.

"It seems like you have another traveller friend with you," She said. "Well, it's nice meeting you, miss traveller." Miss traveller, huh? Well, she didn't know my name, so that made sense.

"Her name is Kathlyne, miss Goldet!" Paimon said, introducing me to her. "We actually found her in Monstadt. Then we found some discoveries there, so we decided to go to Liyue Harbor! Though, we were tired, so we chose to rest here for awhile..."

"Some discoveries in Monstadt that made you guys to visit Liyue again, huh?" Goldet said. "Well, I hope you'll solve the things you've discovered in that region! And, since it sounds quite important, I think it's best to not ask the topic." Then she took out some stuff from her desk. "Anyways, here's where your rooms are..."

After a while later, we went into our designated rooms. I was alone, and Aether and Paimon were in another. I liked being alone anyways. The bed was nice, the view from my room was nice, the other stuff were nice, but nothing out of the ordinary. It was already night-time as well, so little naptimes occured.

Well, I didn't sleep yet, as I wanted to get fresh air, so I went outside. However, things kinda went out of hand...

When I reached the bottom, I heard screaming from people in the distance. There was something bad going on. Aether and Paimon seemed to wake up from the screaming as well, since they went down as well.

"What's going on?!" Paimon asked, startled from the screaming. "I don't know," I replied, confused on the situation. "But I think it's bad!" We then went to the source of the screaming, and saw chaos happening. The Abyss Order had come to create disaster at the inn. But why, though? I thought to myself that question. What made them want to go here in the first place? Then I thought about something. Something that might risk my whole life, but still.

"Could you give me one of your spared polearms?" I asked. He had some spares for some reason, and good thing he did, too. He then took one of it out, saying, "Sure, Kathlyne, but I'm not really sure why you want to-" There was no time for chit-chat for that moment. I quickly snatched the polearm from Aether's hand and ran to the scene.

"Hey! Where are you going?!" Paimon shouted to me in a surprised and worried tone. Then Aether said to her back, "Don't tell me she's gonna..." Then he tried to call me back. "Kathlyne! It's too dangerous! You might get hurt!" But it was too late. I already arrived at the scene, unable to hear his shouting from afar.

When I arrived, I saw Abyss Mages chasing some citizens. One of them seemed like the one who was leading the others. That mage was a Cryo one, too. I heard it shouted orders to the other mages and the hilichurls. "Charge forth!" I heard it shout. "Leave them bare, while we celebrate our guaranteed victory!"

"Not this time!" I shouted back, aiming for the Abyss Mage leader. The other mages noticed, and tried to attack me, but I was already so close to their leader when they did so. I grabbed the leader with my two hands and ran from the chaos, clutching the mage in my possesion. The body was fluffy, but that didn't break my concerntration.

"Hey! Put me down!" The Cryo Abyss Mage said, sounding like it seemed to be lacking air to breathe because of my little-bit squeezing. I then noticed, and said, "Whoops, sorry...but don't run or teleport away! Otherwise I'll hunt you down!"

"Do that, and I'll call my assistants!" The mage said, which I said in reply, "Even with reinforcements, I can beat them all up into ashes!" I said, clenching my fist mad hard. I tried to sound immitating, but really, I was scared that the mage would just instantly freeze me right at the spot. Thankfully, it got scared enough to not run away, so I just placed the mage down.

"Now," I started after putting the scared mage down. "Why did you choose to attack Wangshu Inn?" It took awhile to answer my question, then saying, "I sensed some weird presence around that area. It wasn't like any other, too. Not a Yaksha aura as well. So that's why I called to hunt down the presence, while making some chaos along the way." It seemed to be less scared after what I just said when saying that. Still scared, but a little less.

"A weird presense, huh?" I said. "Well, if you want to find that, then it's best not to make any other chaos while you're doing that, otherwise...this might happen." Then I pointed to ourselves' situation, basically telling it not to cause this weird situation right then again. "Yes, miss..." the Cryo mage said, its ears flopped down like it's sad. A cute way to present sadness, but a sad one as well.

"Look, I will spare you this time, ok?" I told the mage. "But next time I see you or your aquaintence making chaos again, I will show no mercy." Then I looked at the night sky. The mage seemed to do the same, as I side-saw it looking at the same direction.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" I said. I then carried the mage nearer so that, I don't know, I wouldn't feel alone. It replied with a nod, which meant a yes. Then it added, "If only Princess and miss Traveller could see this kind of view..."

'Princess' and 'miss Traveller'? For the princess one, that's Lumine, for sure. I wonder how she's doing right now...and miss Traveller? The only miss I knew is the Universal Traveller, a.k.a. me. I then asked, "When you said 'miss Traveller'...do you mean the Universal Traveller?"

It was a little surprised that I knew that, for some reason. Then it replied, "Yes, miss. She looked exactly like you, and her name was 'Kathlyne'..." Then it looked at me in realization, immediately asking me, "Are you...miss Traveller?" "You could say so," I replied with a little smile on the face. It seemed like I met some mages in before going back into my world.

"Miss Traveller!" It exclaimed with joy. It then hugged me, saying, "I'm so sorry! I've done wrong to the humans, and I even forgotten your own self without hesitation! Please forgive me!" What da hec did I do to make them plead for mercy? "I already told you, I will spare you," I said, holding back the laughter. The fact that a mage I've met before could easily be like this was unimaginable in my head. How serious was I when I met them? Were my humor started to change back then until I came back into my world? If so, then that would be horrible...

"Really?" It asked one more time. "Yes, really," I replied. "That's what the Universal Traveller would do, right? No matter how bad the person is?" It nodded happily. "Yes, miss Traveller! And once I come back, I'll tell Princess the wonderful news!" Wonderful? What did I do wonderful? I mean, I had memory loss, so of course I would be confused.

"Oh, and...can we go back now? I want to tell them to stop..." It asked. "Sure," I replied with a little smile. "Myllia." "'Myllia'?" It repeated again with a confused tone. "Yes, Myllia. Your official name! Or, if your Princess accepts the name." The mage was jumping around in joy. "Myllia! Myllia! A wonderful name indeed from the one and only miss Traveller!" Oh, please, it's normal to give random names from human heads...

I then signalled to the newly-named Myllia to follow me. "Come on! If we don't arrive soon enough, more chaos will be at hand!"

Me and Myllia then went back to where the chaos was at hand. There was still chaos, yes, but there were less because Aether and Paimon were there to help. The mages and hilichurls there were still fighting, for sure. Myllia then went to where her own aquaintences were at, and commanded them with a shout.

"Everyone, stop!" She said, holding her Cryo staff. "Miss Traveller has arrived once more into our world! It's a must to stop fighting, now!" I then showed up in their sight, just waving my hand signalling a 'halo'. The mages and the hilichurls stopped attacking, including the people from Wangshu Inn, Aether, and Paimon.

The mages and hilichurls then ran away, nowhere to be seen. Myllia spoke to them in Hilichurlian before that, so I was assuming that she commanded them to retreat. The people from Wangshu Inn then cheered that the enemies were gone. Aether and Paimon then went to where me and Myllia were.

"There you are! Where have you been?!" Paimon asked me in a very worried tone. "And...why do you have a Cryo mage with you?" "I'm Myllia..." she said, scared to tell them even anything, but just said it anyways. "Miss Traveller here gave me the name, and...I accepted it. Please don't hurt me, though...I promise not to attack any humans ever again. I promise!"

"She said so," I said, confirming her words so that Aether and Paimon won't suspect Myllia. "She seemed to be living for more than 500 years, as she actually knew me before." "Really? That's kinda cool, actually!" Paimon said. "As long as Myllia keeps her promise..." Aether said. "We'll make a little alliance. But, I have a question for Myllia..."

He then faced to lil' ol' Myllia, and asked, "How's your 'Princess' doing?" She went silent for awhile, before replying, "Well...she's doing fine...nothing bad happened to her..." "Good," he said in relief. It's a good thing he still cared for his sister, even though she's in our enemy's side. Or, I guess, 'their' enemy's side.

"Hey, Paimon's tired, ya know..." Paimon said in visible exhaustion. "With all the sudden awaking, and all the fighting and chit-chatting going on..." "Okay, okay, Paimon!" I said. "Let's go back to the inn and sleep properly this time. And just in case someone there gets suspucious, I'll hide Myllia somewhere 'til tomorrow."

"I trust you on that one, miss Traveller!" Myllia said. "Let's go back, then," Aether then said. "It's almost the next day, too!"

Next day in the morning, we woke up, I got Myllia from her hiding spot (she was in a big drawer big enough for her, she said it was comfortable enough, but I felt bad), greeted Verr Goldet goodbye, before getting out to go to Liyue Harbor. Our walk was...quite a short one, before stumbling into something even I didn't expect.

We were already outside Wangshu Inn's border. Aether felt great, Paimon felt a little bit sleepy, but still great, Myllia felt really great (despite sleeping in a drawer) and I felt decent. Very decent.

While we were walking though, we met a little creature that looked very weird. It was a small and orange creature that was waddling around. It had a blue bandana that fit exactly around its head, too. I immediately recognised that creature and ran to it.

"W-Wait!" Paimon said. "Miss Traveller! Wait!" Myllia said. Aether ran towards me, following behind. I then grabbed the orange creature, holding it tightly, but not too much, otherwise it would choke.

"BANDANA!" I exclaimed, hugging the creature.

What did I mean by 'Bandana', exactly? Whoops, that's 'til next part!

Though that begs the question...'Bandana' doesn't sound like it's in the Genshin world. Who would put that 'Bandana' in here?

(Extra)

Kathlyne: "Aww, why did it end?"

Me: "Heh, I gotta keep some stuff 'til next part, and I like doing that."

Kathlyne: "Oh, fine...but, to tell the readers who's listening to our conversation, could you tell them a little bit about the next part?"

Me: "Sure! Anyways...the next part is basically me, Aether, Paimon, Myllia and the orange dude I called it 'Bandana' searching for Bandana's buddies. For those who know, yes, it's 'them'."

Kathlyne: "And I guess I'm one of them who knows! Still, I wanna see the next part. You go do that now! I can't wait!"

Me: "Alright, alright! I will."

(Da end. Yes, it's da one, yes, we will meet pinky, and no, we won't meet the weird black eyeball dude. Good enough? I think so)
