A special meeting (s p e c i a l i n d e e d)

"This is Aiko Hestia, also known as the daughter of what many call her as the Unknown God," I introduced her to the group. 'Well this'll be interesting,' Kathlyne said in my mind. Let me explain a bit first about what Kathlyne meant, first.

So basically Aether and Lumine are siblings who became separated because of the Unknown God. The god is also the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles, so yeah, what an important role she has. How much mystery does she have revolving around her? LOTS. OF. MYSTERY.

What happened when I said that Aiko was the Unknown God's daughter? Well, some arguements were ensued.

Aether quickly took out his sword again, attempting to swing his sword at Aiko. Paimon tried to stop him from attacking further, but he shook it off and continued.

For the Kirby gang, well...I told them to play around the valley for a bit because there were serious stuff and that it could be 'boring', so they did play around, except Meta, who noticed Aether's attack to Aiko and tried to calm him down in some way, despite of not knowing why he was mad.

While he was getting hold back, he cried out. "Your mother made me and my sister separate! If she didn't, then my sister wouldn't have joined the Abyss Order in the first place!" He cried out, facing Aiko in an angry tone and look. She looked back at him with a glare that states that she's a bit annoyed.

"Tch, do you think I'm mainly the responsible one?" She said while backing up from Aether's attacks, then leaning forward a bit closer to his face. Paimon and Meta had already let go of his arm by accident. "Look, dear," Aiko then said, lifting up his head a bit so that his eye-contacting head position is eye-leveled. "My mother is quite a person who keeps their activities deeply hidden, so I'm not exactly sure of you being angry at me, despite not even knowing on what my mother was responsible of to your sister. How about you give me a letter of sort of your blammings and I will give it to her once I get back?"

She eventually released her hands from his chin, then facing at Paimon and Meta. "I'm quite surprised that you two would do such thing for me despite having some...issues between him and my mother that seems more important than one glares for a few seconds. I appreciate it, seeing that I may actually talk to miss Kathlyne now."

"This situation...I am not sure of it, but what I know is that it is deeply important..." Meta said to Paimon. "Paimon would have to explain a lot though, if Paimon had to explain the entirety of what Aether meant..." she said in addition.

Aether then sighed, saying, "Fine, you do your thing, but I'm still irritated about what your mother had done to me and my sister." "You do your thing, and I'll do mine," Aiko replied, then facing at me. "We have some discussions to make."

He looked away from her, then looking at the rest of the Kirby gang, playing around the valley. The place was quite sloppy, having to sometimes hold your body to not fall, but they didn't really matter when playing.

"So...what should I tell you first..?" She mumbled in thought. I was a bit confused about what she had in mind to tell me about, but I was thinking some important news or something. After a few moments, she spoke up. "Ah, I know! Firstly, some people will later arrive. Secondly, some of those people are rather a bit...evil, of some sort. That evil being in the world of... their world." She then pointed at the Kirby gang playing and Meta chatting with Paimon.

"Oh no...does that mean D. Man will arrive soon?" I asked to confirm. "Yep, D. Man will arrive..." she replied with a bit of an annoyed and disappointed sigh. "Well, at least my creator will come here soon as well..." I was a bit held back when she said 'creator' until I remembered that Aiko Hestia herself was created by one of my friends, Cassie.

To tell you a bit about their relationship between her and Aiko, it was 'unique', some people say, since it's a relationship between a teen and a fictional character looking like a full-grown adult. It's also unique due to the 'adult' being fake and the teen being the creator of that adult, but I don't really see the special feeling of it, since really, a LOT of people makes OCs when they're a child to teen, right?

"Is there anyone else, or just that?" I asked her. "No, at least, that's what I think. There's a possibility that someone else could be wondering around here in this world..."she replied, this time in a serious tone. She then went in thought, before asking me a question. "Have you ever...made a serious conversation between your creator? Or has your creator ever did some changes to your, erm, 'characteristics'?"

The first one was absolutely yes with the conversation on a confession that Kathlyne is fake. The second one, though...as a creator of Kathlyne herself, I should've remember. Then I remembered: I didn't change anything, actually, because I wanted Kathlyne to be like herself: a traveller of the fictional multiverse and sometimes OP depending on which world she is at will. But as of right now, I just decided to turn on OP mode randomly for 5 minutes before turning it off for another 30 minutes.

"Creator didn't really changed anything on my characteristics," I replied, still in my 'acting' zone. "And for the first one...I'd rather not discuss about it..." The last part of the sentence made me wonder a bit about Kathlyne. What's her future and fate as a fictional character if I didn't made it so that she would make those specific things happen? Where would she be right now if I didn't control her body? What would she be doing if she was...real in our world? As of then, Kathlyne knew what I was thinking, and based on what I remembered, she was wondering the same.

But anyways, Aiko was starting to feel a bit bored. "What to do now..?" She uttered to herself. I was thinking as well. Sure, we had a goal to complete, but that doesn't mean we immediately do it. However, while I was thinking on what else to do besides, well, searching for my friends and planning to defeat D. Man (by the way, D. Man is Dark Matter from the Kirby franchise), one second I looked at Aiko's gold eyes, I suddenly felt a glitchy feeling. I got a headache and collapsed, but luckily she caught me in time. The others (including the whole Kirby gang) heard Aiko's sudden yelp when catching me from falling, so they scurried over to us.

"Hey, are you alright?" Aether asked me with a bit of a concerned face when he approached me. "Yeah, I'm a bit fine...just feeling a bit 'glitchy', that's all..." I replied with a small groan. It felt real weird, since at the time of my - I mean Kathlyne's meetings with Aiko, they were 'normal', if you could call them that, and she was able to look at her eyes with no problem. But for me, it felt completely different...it was almost if Aiko's mother, the Unknown God, knew that I, the creator of Kathlyne, was in the Genshin world. It almost felt like...she was warning me about the future.

"How's your feeling now? Anything bad happening to you?" Meta asked. "Probably less okay than ever, but fine at least. Still..." I replied, standing up in an up-straight position. "Poyo..." Kirby muttered to himself with a concerned face. He got the idea that something wrong was happening, but he didn't know what.

"Some news for Aiko to tell you all, though, don't worry about me..." I then said, sitting down with my position facing at the distant view on top of the near Liyue Harbor. The breeze felt nice, but with what was happening before, it felt a bit uneasy. "And for Aether, please no quarreling with Aiko now...my brain wouldn't hold those angering shouts and debatings..." I told him, looking at his golden eyes similar to Aiko's before staring back at the view.

"What happened..." I murmured to myself. At that time, one serious thing happens and then I change that immediately if I could. But then, it felt needed to be serious. "If only I could get my Switch right now and play Kirby games...then my serious thoughts will wash away like the wind blowing through with light leaves..."

While I was thinking of that, though, the whole gang suddenly heard cries from someone. Not the sad ones, it's more of 'terrified' and 'concerned' ones. The cries were distant too, coming from the entrance of Liyue Harbor. Well, close to te harbor's entrance, and near enough for us to hear.

"Chaos is coming!" "We need help!" "Move, move, move!" Those words were coming from the Millelith, roaming around with citizens. "W-What's going on there?" Paimon asked, doing that one shock position that she usually does when she's, ya know, shocked. "I think we should hurry and see. There could be big problems happening!" I said, rushing down to the harbor. As I did so, thunderclouds started to form above the whole harbor, creating a domain of some sort when seen from far away. Everyone else were behind me, trying to catch up.

For my physics, going down on slopes makes you go a bit faster and going up on slopes makes you slower. For them, it's normal speed, whether it's going up or down on slopes, so that's how I arrived there first. The first thing I saw, though, was, erm...something, if you could call that.

"Hurry up peeps, this is an important matter, ya know!" I shouted before turning back to the harbor. "If only I mastered my polearm skills..." I muttered to myself while running in. Those times when I used my polearm? I barely did anything at all when I used it. The reason I thought about it in the first place is because, well, danger or whatnot.

When the whole group arrived, they and I saw multiple citizens running from place to place, looking like they're evacuating. "We should find Ningguang right now!" Paimon said, rushing with Aether and Aiko to find Ningguang. "You guys will have to help the other citizens as much as possible, I see a couple struggling on some things," I said to the Kirby gang. They all nodded and went to help the people. I then spotted some round, black entities roaming around. One of them was chasing a person before Kirby swallowed it. I saw that person briefly thanking him before going back to doing his own important stuff.

"D. Man definitely arrived here..." I said to myself before rushing to help the citizens as well. More and more round, black entities appeared out of nowhere and started chasing some of the struggling citizens. Kirby easily helped by swallowing them, Bandana wiped out a few with his spear, Dedede smacked a few into a flat, black thing before poofing out of existence, and Meta used his Galaxia sword to slice the rest up to pieces. For me, I was just helping the others do their things in order to evacuate.

"Man, if only I could do something at least really useful to the other people..." I said to myself while carrying stuff for the citizens. I then heard someone shout my name. "Kathlyne! Over here!" Paimon shouted as loud as possible, despite of the loud wind blowing and leaves going to my face. I ran to where the voice was before finding the whole group together again, this time with some other people.

"The chaos going on is quite a serious one..." the one on the right, which was Ganyu, said. "It was even needed to tell the citizens to temporarily evacuate from this place." "What should we do now, to stop this chaos from continuing?" Paimon asked, facing to the one on the middle, which was Ningguang. "First, we have to find the source of the mysterious entities roaming around, which is possibly the cause of the chaos," she explained in reply. When she was about to say something again, a whole group of black entities were approaching us in a fast speed. Luckily, the whole Kirby gang were able to defeat those entities, with Aether and Aiko defeating some.

After all of them were finished, Ningguang continued her plan. "Let's continue now, shall we... Secondly, we must defeat that source and stop it from further distruction in our harbor. If there's only one way to defeat that source, then we will find that one way." "There's one thing to clarify, though..." I said, then facing to Meta and gave him a nod. He did the same and spoke up. "Those entities, including the source, could easily possess one's body if not careful. Many had once experienced it while trying to do something to help another..."

He was not only reffering to the past times of the Dark Matter possession arc, but also reffering to the Jamba Hearts, which also has a tendency of possessing those who comes too close to those hearts without caution. However, he knew that if he did mentioned those two things, everyone there (besides the Kirby gang and me) would be completely confused, so he just mentioned about the safety caution of the possession part.

"We will be cautious about that, mister...erm..." the one on the left, which is Keqing, said. "Just call me Meta," he said, his cape flowing hard because of the harsh wind. "There's no time for further introductions. We must move and carry on our duties," Ningguang declared. Everyone else nodded with determination of succeeding, and all of them split up to find the source. After a few moments, I was alone in an area, bare and empty with the strong wind and flowing leaves.

"I know you are here, Dark Matter," I said in a loud tone. "Fight me one-on-one like those last times!" I then took out my polearm and raised it high. Suddenly, the black entities around went to where I was and started forming in front of me. The result was a figure that's like a one-eyed swordsman.

(By the way, this is what the dark matter I'm reffering to looks like)

(This is probably the only time I'll do this, so the rest of the things, you'll have to search it by your own :>)

The figure (I use they/them pronouns for dat) stared at me for a few moments, before speaking. "You are not the usual that I have known...your hidden aura is more hidden than normal, and that is telling me that you are more than just the usual Traveller that I have known before..." They said to me. "I predict that your combat skills are far from the average, so this would be an easy time for me." I was a bit scared, knowing that they know about what I am (kinda) and what my weakness is: combat. I didn't even know a proper movement when using a polearm, so I thought that I was done for.

'If you want, I can do the thing,' Kathlyne spoke in my mind. 'What thing?' I asked her in my thoughts. 'You'll see if you trust me on something. I can't tell you yet, though,' she replied. 'Fine...I trust you,' I said in my mind, before suddenly collapsing down. "Oh, I know what you're doing now..." I said to myself, when really, I was talking to Kathlyne. What was she doing, exactly? Attempting to take over her body once again so that she could fight Dark Matter. I did get a 5-minute headache before shifting, which, for a minute, she had already went back to her own body.

I let out some painful groans before I switched places, though, and they were a bit confused. "What are you doing..." they asked, but I was already shifted back. Let me tell ya to NOT do that to ANY people, fictional or not, because believe it or not, it was PAINFUL as HEC. It was a miracle that I was able to hold that pain, because it went on for a whole 5-minute session of vibrating pain. One of them being the headaches, and the rest, I'm not even gonna tell ya, because already telling the other one would not be pleasant to hear.

'Let's not do that next time...' I said in Kathlyne's mind. 'That might not be a promise, but I'm sure we won't do that for decades,' she replied, adjusting her polearm-holding position. "Now..." she said as she faced Dark Matter.

"Let's start the chaos, shall we?"

(Extra)

Me: "Never, EVER do that EVER AGAIN..."

Kathlyne: "Aha, I don't think of that as a forever promise...but I'm sure that we won't do that for decades."

Me: "Hopefully...by the way, what are you gonna do with D. Man? Just fight them like the usual?"

Kathlyne: "That might be depending on whether the others arrive later or I do the fight myself."

Me: "Eh, good enough. Now...I think you should go on with your...ya know, epic fight."

Kathlyne: "Oh, I will make it epic, alright...or at least, for my pov. For the readers, though, it's just words and all..."

Me: "Yeah, sadly...oh, and after that, could you remind me on the picturing? We haven't done that yet..."

Kathlyne: "Oh, that. Sure, I'll let 'cha remember."

(I can't tell whether this is a decent cliffhanger or just less than a 'meh', but I'll take it anyways. It's not like my story would go viral...right? Yeah, right)
