Stephanie's POV

"Can I get you something to drink?"

I look up to the waiter and decide to just give him an order because it's now the third time he's asked me that and he seems a little nervous.

"Can I please have a lemon ice tea, appletizer and a mango juice. Thank you" I smile up at him and he gives me a polite nod before he walks away.

Alex and Maya are running a bit late for our lunch date but they are on their way. They were both at home with the kids today and today is also the first time our nanny will take care of the kids for a few hours.

It is Abby's first day and we decided to give her the space to get herself comfortable. We didn't want her to feel overwhelmed by us being there.

Rosie is at the house to watch over her and help her if she needs too but we told her to let Abby figure it out.

Alex feels bad for throwing her into the deep end like that but I think it's the best thing for her.

And besides the kids will be asleep for most of the time because they have to take their nap right now. So it'll only be about an hour where she would actually have to watch over them.

I'm a little nervous having someone else take care of my kids but I'm also thankful to have her because now I can have lunch with my wives.

I can't remember the last time we went out for a meal at a place other than Maya's restaurant. We absolutely love being there and it's a tradition we would never break but this is nice.

After a few more minutes, I look up and see that beautiful navy blue BMW pull up right in front of the restaurant and I slightly chuckle when Alex flashes her head lights at me.

I watch them both get out of her car but I don't think Maya saw me yet. She is on the phone with someone and that conversation has all her attention.

I admire them from my seat and smile at the way Alex tries to guide Maya my way but she keeps wandering off as she talks.

Alex is wearing a long light blue skirt with a white shirt and Maya went with a short black dress. They both decided on keeping their hair down which is always their go to if they have the day off. Unfortunately they can't really wear it down like this when they are working but I'm not complaining, it keeps my mind at ease.

They already have so many people gawking at them at work, I don't want people to have more reasons to fantasize about what's mine.

With one last attempt to get Maya's attention, she gives up and leaves her on the grass. She just smiles and walks over to me.

As she gets to the entrance she talks to the hostess and then points over to me before they let her in.

"This is a cute place lovey" she smiles as she nears the table.

I quickly stand up and meet her for a quick kiss. "I told you" I smile as she takes a seat on the one side of me.

"And it's not my fault that we are late" she quickly adds with a soft chuckle.

"Who is she talking to?" I ask and look over to where Maya is still walking around on the grass.

"Her dad." She says and looks over the menu but her hand reaches over to mine. "Apparently they are serious about moving."

"What? Really?" I frown.

"Yeah, but let's wait till she comes back." She smiles and squeezes my hand. "We missed you this morning, give me some love."

I laugh at her pouty face and lean a bit forward just as she does. I give her a lingering kiss on the lips and then softly kiss her hand.

"How was your short day at work?" She asks me in a low voice as we stay close to each other.

"It was really nice actually. I had a quick meeting and then got some paperwork done, now I don't have to work over the weekend."

"Oh yay" she smiles and leans her head against my shoulder. "I have to work though." She chuckles in defeat.

"At the hospital?"

"No" she lifts her head to look at me again "I have a patient with high risk of infection and I just need to check in with my nurses."

"Okay" I say with soft smile but my eyes follow the waiter as he puts our drinks down on the table.

"Thank you so much" Alex is the first to answer and takes her juice from him.

"Thank you, you can put the appletizer on this side." I say with a polite smile.

"Can you go get her please?"

"She's on the phone babe" I chuckle and glance at Maya who is still talking.

I don't think that is a conversation. It's more her talking and her dad just listening.

"This is our first lunch date in a while, and she is missing half of it."

"Okay, okay" I smile and stand up from my chair.

I walk over the grass and as I get closer she sees me and gives me her beautiful smile.

"Yes, and what did he say?" She says to her father on the phone before she pulls it away and leans closer to kiss me.

"I'll be right there" she whispers to me and then latches the phone to her ear again.

"Two minutes" I say with a slightly serious tone and her face turns a little flustered.

She bites her bottom lip with a small smile and I can't help but laugh as I walk away.

They love it when I bring out my lawyer voice and I only talk like that when I'm really serious but it doesn't always work with them. I think they see it as mating call which is absolutely not what it is.

I know I can turn them on very easily but when I talk like that, just like now, it's usually not the time or place for them to get horny. It's not my intention but I'm not going to lie, it makes me feel good to have that kind of affect on them.

I get back to our table and our waiter gives Alex a nod before he walks walks away.

"I ordered some sushi" she smiles at me just as I sit down.

"Thank you baby" I smile and take a sip of my drink. "I gave her a warning look so she should be here in two minutes."

"Hmmm we'll see" she laughs.

"How did things go with the kids before you left?" I ask her in a curious but also calm manner.

"They were actually okay" she nods. "They were playing outside and we also didn't make it a long goodbye. It was really tough for me but I powered through."

"I would've probably brought them with me" I admit with a guilty chuckle.

"Maya suggested it but then she got her phone call and I saw it as the 'now or never' opportunity "

"Good job baby, I'm proud of you" I smile and give her a small high five but then hold her hand in front of me.

"I don't know why she's so upset about this. If they move to Denver we can always make it a family vacation two or three times a year. We can go there over Christmas and the kids can enjoy the snow."

"Thick snow means colder weather" I groan and Alex just laughs, rubbing my arm.

"We will keep you warm sweetheart" she smiles and takes another sip of her drink.

"Or you and Maya can go alone with the kids" I shrug but Alex doesn't even react shocked to my statement.

"You are very amusing on a Friday afternoon my darling" she says in a casual tone and looks over at Maya.
"Here she comes"

I turn my head with a soft chuckle and see Maya walking along the grass towards us. We wait for her to make her way through the tables, curious about her conversation with her dad.

"Sorry lovies" she says and sits down, immediately taking a sip of her drink.

"So what is happening?" I ask the obvious question.

"They are not in a rush to move but it will definitely happen over the next two years." She sighs.

"I'm sorry baby" Alex reaches over the table to hold her hand. "You and I will go visit them as much as we can."

"You and I? What about you?" She immediately frowns at me and I laugh as I look at Alex.

"She wants a divorce" Alex answers for me and rolls her eyes.

"Fuck that" Maya scoffs. "You're not going anywhere."

"I didn't say I wanted a divorce" I laugh. "I just said you and Alex can go visit your parents alone because it's really cold there"

"It's basically the same thing" Alex shrugs and turns her attention to her menu.

I look at Maya and she glares at me which makes me slightly laugh.

"I'll say it again" Maya clears her throat. "You're not going anywhere."

"So dramatic" I mumble and they both hit me in the shoulder on either sides.

"Anyway" Maya speaks up. "We'll have a family gathering sometime to discuss this ridiculous idea and then we'll know more."

"Will this conversation happen the same day as breaking the news about Jamie?"

"That might be a good idea" Maya shrugs. "It can be a only bad news kinda dinner"

"That sounds like a lot of fun" I laugh with obvious sarcasm.

"Baby, you and I can just sit back and enjoy the show." Alex laughs.

"No" Maya gasps. "That wasn't the deal." She slightly pouts. "I need you in my corner."

"We've never left your corner sweetheart" I smile and reach out to touch her thigh under the table.

She gives me an appreciative smile and holds my hand.

"Okay but why did this conversation take so long if we'll have a family discussion about it?" I frown as I think about it.

"I told them about my week first" she says with a sheepish smile.

"And the week before that" Alex adds with a chuckle.

"Okay fine" Maya blushes. "We talked about other things before we talked about them moving to the other side of the fucking world."

I just softly chuckle at her explanation because we all know how long she can talk to her parents on the phone. They talk almost everyday but when the call comes through, Alex and I walk away to do something else because there has never been a quick call between them.

I remember a time when I saw my parents almost three times a week. We had the same kind of relationship. They knew everything about my daily life, but when I met Alex and Maya things changed a bit.

My attention was moved over to them and it kept my pretty occupied.

My parents didn't understand our relationship at first like most people, but once they were comfortable with it, things were back to normal.

And I would never blame them. The first time they met Alex and Maya wasn't really they way I wanted it to happen. So I can understand why it took them a while.

About eight years ago....

"Has it started yet?!"

I slightly laugh and Maya who already took her place, laying her head on my chest, chuckles as well.

"Yes, you have to run!" I yell back to my room where Alex is busy getting her nail polish.

"I said you should pause it!" She yells and we hear her running towards the livingroom.

"Assholes" she mumbles when she sees the show hasn't started yet and sits down on the floor right in front of us.

"Do you have to do that now?" I ask her and let my hand reach around her neck.

"Yes baby, I don't have time for a pedicure." She says in a gentle voice and look back at us.

"Not even on your days off?" Maya asks.

"I'm always here on my off days" she laughs and turns back to start with her nails.

"We should all just take a day and go together" I suggest just as the show starts.

"Yeah we can do that" Alex says in a low voice but Maya only hums in response as she already has her attention on the screen.

I only smile and run my fingers through her hair before I scratch my nails over her back. She immediately arches her body more with a satisfying groan. I know she loves these kind of tickles and giving her that makes me happy.

As we watch the show in comfortable silence and some affection going around between, we hear a knock on my door but non of us move an inch.

"Do you have another girlfriend we don't know about?" Alex sighs with her head down.

I only laugh at her jealousy and Maya gives me the space to stand up.

I walk over to the door and as I look through the peep hole my heart stops for a few seconds.

"Oh shit" I whisper and look back at my two girlfriends who are both wearing t-shirts without a bra and Alex doesn't have pants on.

"Who is it?" Maya asks me with a slight frown.

Another knock on the door makes me jump and quickly walk back to the couch.

"So, uuhhmmm my parents are here" I say in a low but also shaky voice.

"What?" Maya is the first to jump up and then Alex also stands up.

"Can you please get dressed in normal clothes?"

"Oh shit" Alex slightly chuckles and they both hurry to my bedroom.

I walk back to the door and take a deep breath before I open it. "Hi?"

"Hey sweetheart" my mother smiles. "Can we come in?" She asks but I don't move away to let them in yet.

"Is this a bad time?" My father frowns at my behavior and he definitely has reason to be confused.

I am shaking a bit.

"Uhm, it's not the best time" I say and still keep the door halfway closed for them not to see inside.

"What's going on Steph?" Now his frown gets a little more serious.

"I have company" I say with a smile hoping it will make them feel less concerned about my behavior.

"Steven said you have a girlfriend, is she here?"

I look at my mother with wide eyes because she seems really excited about my love life but the information she got from my brother isn't exactly the truth.

"Uhmm-"

"I want to meet her" she says and basically pushes me out the way to get in.

As I turn around with a racing heart I see Alex and Maya sitting on the couch.

"Oh hello" my mother says with a slight chuckle and turns to me. "Which one is your girlfriend?"

I take a deep breath and take a step closer to the couch. I give them an apologetic look before I turn back to my parents.

"Mom, dad" I say in a low voice. "This is Alex and Maya" I say and point to them. "They are both my girlfriends."

I watch my mother's face go blank in shock and my father's frown is still plastered on his face. I can see his mind running a million miles an hour, trying to process what I just said.

Alex and Maya are also really quiet in this awkward situation because none of us were really prepared for this. We haven't even talked about meeting our parents. We've only been together for a few weeks and with our busy schedules we don't see each other a lot during the week.

Over the weekends we mostly spend our time in my apartment or Maya's. We haven't been to Alex's place because her younger brother lives with her.

We are still getting to know each other and it's still new and exciting. Meeting parents wasn't really part of the conversations yet.

Until now.

"It's really nice to meet you, Mr and Mrs Clair"

All of us get shaken from the uncomfortable silence when Alex stands up with a reaching hand to my mother.

"Yeah" Maya follows after her. "We've heard so much about you."

Well that's a definite lie because I haven't told them anything about my parents other than that I work with my dad and my mother used to be in the real estate market but she's a housewife now.

"So are you dating both of them and they know about it?" My father is the first to ask a question.

"Oh yeah, we are all in a relationship. Like all three of us."

"Oh like a-" my mother stutters and looks at me. "What do you call it?"

"It's like a throuple" Alex helps her out in a gentle tone.

"Yes" I second her answer. "I was going to tell you eventually, it's just all very new and-"

"It's fine sweetheart" my mother says with a smile but I can tell it's forced. "We just haven't seen you in a while and now we know why"

"How about I come over for dinner on Monday?" I suggest because I do feel a little guilty about not going over so often anymore.

I used to have dinner at their house every week so it makes sense that they were a little confused about my absence.

"That would great" my father nods his head. "But we will leave you."

"It was nice to meet you" my mother looks over at Alex and Maya where they return a friendly smile and a subtle wave.

I walk with them to the door and as they step outside they both turn around to look at me.

"We will see you Monday" my father nods in my direction.

"Okay dad" I smile. "Have a good night."

"Goodnight Stephanie" my mother smiles and I watch them walk away.

I close the door and take a deep breath as my head falls against the wall.

"Well that wasn't awkward at all." I hear Maya and Alex laugh.

My legs give way under me and I slowly slide down to the floor. As my head touches the ground I cover my face with my arms and let out a loud frustrating groan.

"Are you okay?" I hear Alex talking and their footsteps coming closer to me.

"I am so so so sorry about that" I say and look up at them as they stand on opposite sides, looking down at me.

"Their reaction was definitely on point though" Maya shrugs.

"Confused?" Alex laughs.

"Yeah and shocked."

"I think my dad's brain just melted." I chuckle and run my hands through my hair. "I've never seen him speechless."

"Maybe he was stunned by our beauty." Alex chuckles and looks down at me.

"Definitely" I smile up at them. "He was trying to figure out how the fuck I got so lucky."

"Or he thinks we are your whores for the night."

Alex and I look at Maya with slightly confused faces as to why she would say something like that but she just shrugs it off.

"And he's not wrong" she continues but walks over to the couch. "If they arrived in about an hour, they would've seen us in another state."

"That's true" Alex laughs and helps me up off the ground.

"Okay but the point is" I chuckle at the sudden twist in the conversation and we all take our original places. "I'm sorry about what just happened. We haven't really talked about announcing our relationship, especially to our families and we haven't talked about meeting any of them."

"It's fine babe" Maya smiles and reaches out for my thigh. "You didn't know they would come over."

"Yeah, there wasn't much you could've done about that." Alex follows but her eyes are back on her toes and she just continues with her task.

"Okay" I sigh and rest my head back against the couch.

"Stop worrying about it" Maya chuckles beside me and I feel her move on the couch.

A few seconds later her lips find my cheek for a hard kiss and as I turn to look at her she gives me a gorgeous smile and then a lingering kiss on the lips.

"I think I would be a good whore" Alex mumbles in front of us and we both laugh.

"I'm serious" she also laughs and looks back at us. "I will make some good money."

"Or" Maya cuts into the conversation "I can just pay you to fuck me and not be in jail for cutting the throats of everyone who saw you naked."

"Woah" I laugh in shock at Maya's answer. "Baby, you know I'm a lawyer right. You can't just say things like that"

"She started it" she chuckles. "I was just explaining to her what the consequences would be for her fucking ridiculous idea."

Alex just laughs by herself but I can see Maya's face is serious which scares me a little bit.

"Nobody is a whore or will ever be one." I say in a calm tone hoping to lift the tension.

"I'll only be a whore for you" Alex turns back to us with a smile. She reaches out to Maya who gives her a stubborn glare but as Alex's hands dips between her legs she lets out a soft chuckle.

"Just give me a few minutes, my toenails are still a little wet-"

"Woah" I laugh and cut her off. "Alex, you don't have to be a whore for us. And Why are we still talking about this?"

"Okay fine, I'll be your sex slave" she says with a sultry smirk.

"That's even worse!" I yell in shock and Maya just laughs. "Just be you, that's good enough for me" I say in a raised tone, hoping my point will get through to her.

"Oohh" Maya smiles and I look over at her. "We can get some rope-"

"No!"

They both just laugh and Maya leans over to kiss my cheek.

I know they are just joking about it and my reaction just gives them the motivation to keep going. I would never expect them to be any kind of lesser for me. Sure I love to hear them beg me to fuck them harder or make them cum but I would never use them for sex.

We are together in this relationship and we are all equal in every situation.
