Alex's POV

I park my car in garage and I sigh when I see Stephanie's car is already gone. I just wanted to see her and the twins for a few minutes as well. Luckily Maya is still here because she only goes to work a little later.

I was hoping to have my whole family with me for a few minutes. I missed them so much and the sleep deprivation is making me extra emotional.

I grab my handbag and close the garage door behind me. At least I can look forward to having coffee with my other beautiful wife.

I open the door into the house and I see Maya standing in the kitchen. "Hey baby" I smile but she doesn't really seem happy to see me.

I close the door and walk closer to her with a curious look. I'm trying to think of any reason she could be mad at me right now.

I know they don't like it when I work through the night but that is my job, it's not something I planned.

"What's wrong sweetheart?" I ask in a gentle tone and put my bag down on the counter before I step right in front of her.

I reach out to touch her but she steps back and puts her hand up. I see tears building up in her eyes and now I'm actually really worried. "Bab-"

"I don't want you alone with anyone in your office" she says in a broken tone. "Not another doctor or surgeon, not a nurse, not even Anna." She states with a raised tone.

"Wha-"

"If you don't love us anymore then you tell us, don't go looking for someone else-"

"Maya, woah!" I stop her and grab both her arms. "What the hell are you talking about?" I ask in genuine confusion but also concern. She is clearly upset about something but I have no idea why.

She doesn't say anything and just looks down at her folded arms.

"Maya?" I call on her and cup her face to look at me.

"I had a dream about you cheating on us" she says in a whisper.

"Ah baby" I sigh with a slight chuckle in relief. I wrap my arms around her neck and pull her into me.

She tries to fight off my affection and keep up the angry front but it doesn't last long. "It's not funny" she groans and wraps her arms around my waist.

I laugh a little at her grumpy tone and pull back to look at her. "I'm sorry baby, but are you really mad at me because of something you dreamt about?"

"Yes" she mumbles and looks down with a guilty expression. "It felt so real" she whines and falls back into me.

"Okay, okay" I console her with a few kisses on her cheek and hug her tight against me.

I've had a few nightmares about my family being in a car accident and I woke up screaming. I know it can feel real and I understand why she is still upset about it. I would've been upset too.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I whisper and massage the back of her head. "Come on, tell me what I did?"

She lets out a deep breath and pulls back leaning against the counter. "I wanted to surprise you with a coffee at work but then I walked in on you and some nurse, I think. She was sitting on your desk and you were.."

"Oh gosh" I scrunch my nose in disgust.

"I know" she whines a little.

"I'm sorry honey" I sigh and give her a tight hug. "Nothing like that happened okay?" I whisper in a gentle tone hoping it will make her feel better.

"I know" she whispers back and I can feel her finally relaxing in my hold.

"Did I at least do a good job?"

"Alex!" She gasps in a slight chuckle and punches me in the shoulder.

"I'm joking baby" I laugh and try to wrap my arms around her waist again but she pushes me away.

"Why would you ask me that?" She asks in a slight annoyed tone but I see a small smile on her face.

"I was just joking" I laugh and reach out to grab her hand. "It was just a stupid dream."

She shakes her head in disbelief but let's out a small chuckle. "I hope when you dream of me cheating, I will have ten women sucking on every part of my body while I scream in pleasure."

"I hope I am atleast one of those women" I whisper with a smirk and slowly slide my hands down to her ass.

"No" she laughs as I kiss her neck. "That is not what I meant"

She wraps her arms around my neck and I leave a few soft kisses up her neck to her cheek. "Are you still mad at me?" I whisper and softly run my hands over her cute little ass.

"No" she whispers back with a small smile.

"So I can kiss you now?"

"Yes please" she smiles and cups my face, pulling me closer for a slow, deep kiss.

"I missed you so much" I mumble against her lips and softly nibble on her bottom lip before I kiss her again.

She hugs me tight around my neck as I deepen the kiss with a soft moan.

These past thirty six hours were absolutely horrible. I missed my wives and our babies so much. My body is so weak and my mind is so tired. I need some sleep but just holding her makes me feel better already. Kissing her brings me such relief. I didn't think anyone would be home now but I am so grateful that she waited for me.

The main reason she waited was to express her anger towards me though, but now all I feel is the love she has for me.

Her tongue softly grazing against mine is definitely a sign that she's not mad anymore. Her hands roaming the back of my neck and the soft moans coming from her mouth is definitely a sign that she needs this just as much as I do.

I'm very tired but I can't help but want more. Everything about her is so addictive and going almost two days without touching my wives is way to long for me.

"Are we alone in the house?" I whisper in a breathless voice as I pull back to look at her.

"No" she whispers back and wipes my lips with her thumb. "We have two new maids here with Rosie"

"But-" I frown. "What day is it?" I question and look up at the fridge for the calendar.

"It's Friday baby" she laughs and turns my head back to her.

"Fuck" I groan and let my hands roam over to her ass, squeezing it in a frustrating manner.

She smiles and cups my face, keeping me only a few inches away from her. "I miss you too baby." She whispers and leaves a teasingly soft kiss on my lips. "But tonight nobody will disturb us"

I smirk at the thought and close the gap between us with one last passionate kiss. She accepts my tongue with a louder moan and I feel her smiling against my lips.

"I can't wait"

"I have to leave in a few minutes, when was the last time you ate?" She whispers and softly runs her hands over my shoulders to my chest.

"Last night, between surgeries" I say a little hesitant because I can't exactly remember what time it was.

"Aren't you hungry sweetheart?" She asks in concerned tone. "Can I make you something to eat before I leave?"

"No baby" I whisper and kiss her worry away. "I'm okay, I just want to take a shower and get some sleep."

"Okay" she sighs. "How about you go up and take a shower, and I'll go find Rosie to tell her you are here and not to vacuum the house."

"Okay, but don't leave without saying goodbye." I slightly pout.

"I won't baby"

I wake up with the sound of the bedroom door opening up but I can tell whoever it is, is trying really hard to be as quiet as possible.

I slowly lift my head and open my eyes to see Stephanie tiptoeing her way to the bed. Her eyes meet mine and I see her shoulders slump. "Ah sorry baby, I didn't mean to wake you." She sighs.

"No" I shake my head and reach both my arms out to her with a big smile on my face.

She walks over to me and I sit up a bit before she bends down to wrap me up and in a tight hug.

"Hi" I whisper and hide my face in her neck.

"Hi honey" she whispers back and softly strokes my head. "I missed you so much" she groans and squeezes me tighter.

"I missed you too" I sigh and pull back to look at her beautiful face.

She gives me a loving smile and leans closer to give me a kiss. We both slightly moan at the touch and just like this morning, I can't help but take a relieving breath to finally kiss her as well.

It seems crazy that it's been less than two days since I've seen them. I've been away from home for almost a week in the past which is nothing compared to this. But it's really hard for us and I might sound needy or something but I need a kiss from them, atleast every ten hours.

She gives me a few playful kisses before she pulls back. I feel her hands slipping into my shirt and I know it's her way just to feel my warmth. To appreciate the moment of actually holding me.

"Well I'm glad you're atleast happy to see me" I chuckle and run my hands over her chest.

She looks really hot today and I'm a little jealous that I didn't see her more today. Maybe I can convince her to stay in these clothes for a little longer.

"What do you mean?" She slightly frowns but holds me close to her.

"Maya was very upset with me when I got home this morning" I laugh and twirl a piece of her hair between my fingers.

"Oh about her dream?" She laughs and I nod my head. "Yeah she was really upset last night, she kept mumbling what she would do to that nurse"

"Oh gosh" l laugh and rest my head on her shoulder again. "Why would she dream something like that?"

"She missed you, we missed you" she says in a low voice and kiss the side of my head.

I look up at her and cup her face for a deep kiss. "I missed you too" I whisper and go in for another kiss.

"Maya said she'll be home in a bit, she is a bit short staffed but she is getting someone."

"Okay" I smile and run my hand over her cheek.

"Wait, what's the time now?" I pull back and lift her hand to look at her watch.

"Oh shit!" My eyes widen at the time because I didn't set my alarm to wake up."I wanted to go get the twins at daycare."

Just as I get out of bed Stephanie grabs my hand, stopping me from running to the closet "Baby relax, I already got them. They are downstairs with Rosie." She chuckles and stands up from the bed as well.

"What?" I ask with a big smile on my face.

"Yeah" she smiles and kisses my cheek. "Just put on some pants first." She chuckles and slaps my ass.

Without another thought I turn around and we both go into the closet. I only slept in my underwear and a t-shirt. I knew the maids wouldn't come into our room so I didn't bother with it. I just wanted to be as comfortable as I can.

"I'm going to take a shower real quick okay?" Stephanie calls out as she walks to the bathroom.

"Okay" I yell back as I make my way to the door.

I pull a sweet shirt over my head as I almost run down the stairs. I can already hear their cute laughter and I smile at the sound.

I missed them so much.

I walk into the kitchen and see Rosie sitting with them at the counter. They both have their little plastic bowls and it looks like they just finished eating yogurt.

"Hi my babies!" I yell in a soft tone and come around the kitchen counter.

It takes them a few seconds to realise that I'm not Stephanie. They sometimes get confused because we both have dark hair. But Jonah is the first to see that it's me and he immediately starts crying, reaching out to me.

"Hi sweetheart" I smile and let him grab onto my hand as I give him multiple kisses on his cheek.

"Mommy!" I hear Riley call for me and I move to stand between their chairs.

"Hi princess" I smile and give her some kisses too.

She is excited to see me but our little boy is still crying. It's almost the same as seeing Stephanie and Maya today, one was upset with me and the other one is happy to see me.

I reach down and pick him up. He immediately wraps his arms around me and hides his face away in my neck. I hug him tight against me and softly rub his back to calm him down.

"I'm sorry I was gone for so long" I whisper and kiss his head.

I look across the kitchen counter and see Rosie just smiling with a sympathetic look. She knows how much I had missed them and it's actually really heartbreaking that he is crying about my return. I didn't really expect this reaction from either of them. It was only a day and I thought they might be to young to actually realise that I was gone.

I look down at Riley and she is licking off her spoon. She definitely didn't realise I was gone. She was only happy for a few seconds.

"Rosie, can you please help Riley out?" I ask her and she immediately walks over to my side.

I watch her take Riley out and put her on the ground. "Riley, do you want to sit with us on the couch?"

"Yes mommy"

I take her reaching hand and we start walking to the living room. They still have to take their nap but will probably take them outside when they wake up. They enjoy the park but the backyard will have to do for today.

There are always other kids playing and we also see Morgan and Alana on their daily outdoor activities. They also take Grayson to the park whenever they can, then he and the twins play in the sandpit.

But now I just want to cuddle them for a bit. Jonah is upset with me so he needs a little love but I want to hold them both. I missed their little warm bodies and their adorable little faces.

I sit down on the couch and Jonah is still holding onto me but he isn't crying so much anymore. It's just soft little whimpers now.

Riley however is immediately up on my lap and without hesitation I pull her in for a cuddle as well. I hold her tight against my other shoulder and she giggles but also hugs me around my neck.

"Give me a kiss" I say to her and she brings her face closer to mine for a few quick kisses all over her face.

"No mommy" she laughs and falls down on the couch beside me.

"Jonah, can I get a kiss?" I whisper to him and he answers me with a soft 'hhmm' before he pulls away from my neck to look at me.

"Hey my big boy" I smile and softly wipe his eyes. "Give me a kiss" I whisper and move closer to his face but he moves away with a slight smile.

Rejecting my love, just like Maya.

"Give me a kiss, please?" I slightly pout and again he moves away but I quickly hug him tighter and pepper his face with lots of kisses.

I feel Riley standing beside me and her hands are playing with my hair. Jonah is finally laughing and I enjoy his cute little smile that I missed so much.

"Do you still love me?" I whisper with my nose against his.

"Love you mommy" he says with a cute smile and I hug him tight against me.

After a while I put on the tv and let them watch one of their favourite shows. I move to the other side of the couch and make myself comfortable, laying in the corner. Riley has taken her place right on my lap and Jonah is sitting right next to me, where I can hold him.

It feels so nice to just lay down for a bit. I'm still so tired and really need to catch up on some sleep but not right now.

I want to be with my family now. Maya will be home in about an hour and then I'll be satisfied.

"Baby?" I look up at the sound of Stephanie's voice behind the couch. "Do you want something to drink?"

She is dressed in comfortable clothes and I can smell her body lotion from where I sit. She looks so beautiful just standing there with a smile on her face, asking me the most normal question in the world. However, she has found a way to make it sexy.

Or I'm just sleep deprived.

"Alex?" She calls on me and I snap out of thought with a slight blush. "Did you hear what I said?" She laughs.

"Yes" I chuckle. "Can I have a kiss please?"

"That is not what I asked" she laughs but walks closer to me anyway. "We don't have kisses in the fridge."

"We'll have to buy some then" I laugh as she bends down to give me a lingering kiss.

"And one for you" she whispers and gives Riley a kiss. "And one for you" she smiles and gives Jonah one as well.

"Can I just have some water please?" I smile as she stands up with my hand in hers.

"Okay" she smiles and squeezes my hand softly before she walks away.

It wasn't even ten seconds before the twins got curious to where she's going and got off the couch to run after her.

"Oh hello noodles"

I laugh at the petname Stephanie has for them and it's the cutest thing because they laugh every time. I don't think they even know what a noodle is but it's a funny word and the slight Australian accent Stephanie uses when she says it makes it even funnier.

I wouldn't be surprised if they called each other noodle in a few months.
