Chapter 30: Delivery!
You were sitting on your couch, eyes closed, hair unbrushed, headphones in. You were blaring "The One That Got Away" for the thousandth time, both to listen to music, and to try and get something else replaying in your head, so it wasn't just the memory of your breakup on constant repeat in your mind.
*Knock knock*
"I'm not accepting visitors at this time." You groaned.
"I'm not a visitor, I'm kinda the guy you're in love with." A deep voice claimed, voice muffled slightly by the door.
"Please leave a message after the beep."
"Oh c'mon. (Y/n)..."
"Beeeeep."
"Fine," Mark said, groaning slightly.
"(Y/n) this is Mark. I regret everything I said to you a few days ago. I want you back. So badly. I was an idiot for walking away, and I promise-"
You didn't let him finish, you were already in his arms, crying happily.
"So... I should take that as an 'I forgive you' then, huh?" Mark laughed. You sniffed and wiped your eyes. You saw him smiling at you. His smile was something you'd been longing to see for what felt like so long.
"No." You stated. Mark looked confused. "You should take it as an 'I love you.'" You giggled. Mark rolled his eyes and chuckled, as you pulled him into your apartment.
"Rough few days for you?" He questioned, glancing around, his brown eyes then focusing on you. You looked down and realized you were wearing Markiplier pajama pants, a black shirt covered in crumbs, and your hair was a complete birds nest.
"Ugh, I uh, no... Only a little." You replied, looking away.
"Well you still look really hot like that."
"Shut up."
You heard a quiet knock on your doorframe. The two of you turned to see a woman in UPS outfit at your door, her hair tucked in a beanie, and a large package in her hands.
"Hi! Is this a bad time? I just needed to drop this off. The sender thinks it's super important, and kinda time sensitive." The woman said as walked into the room, uninvited.
She slammed the package down on your table and crossed her arms, looking around your apartment. Her eyes were filled with strange wonder.
"Thanks, I guess." You cautiously responded.
'Something is really weird here.'
Ah how fun it is writing at 2:30AM.
I honestly didn't know what I was going to do here, but oddly enough, (though actually not odd at all for me) I was watching Cyndago's "The Mormons" sketch, and this lil arc started to form.
There's always inspiration in any video that my human inspiration is in, lol!
I gotta go to bed. Goodnight, bye bye, catch you in the next chapter, see ya, etc. (All the typical outro stuff)
