it was a warm day in the training school., I was training my golden retriever mary. She was a seeing eye dog. I was introducing her to her new owner. I was sad to see her go.
"Are you ready?" Josh asked.
"I guess." I said sadly. I went out to take the dog to its new owner. She was a thin woman whose belly was large with child. Her face was sunken in. She seemed weak. She was familiar though.
"Hi I'm janie and this is Mary." I said.
"I'm Melanie." She added weakly. Then it hit me. It was Melanie C. I was frozen. But I tried to be professional. Still I was starstuck.
"Its nice to meet you." I said giving her a handshake.
"Nice to meet you too. You must be mary's trainer. " She replied weakly. I walked her through the basic comands. Soon mary was bonding with her. It was time for me to go. On the night I left she told me she was my aunt. She explained how and i stayed.
"Aunt mel you dont mind me staying?" I said.
"Of course not." she answered weakly. We went out. While crossing in town Mary stopped. She kept mel safe. I was proud. I trained her well.
"Good girl." I said.
"Shes great." mel said weakly. As we made it back she started to cough. I noticed blood. Her body got weak. She needed to sit down. I was worried.
"I'll still need to stay a bit to finish training and you need help." I said.
"Your welcomed here angel." She said weakly.
"What did you call me?" I added.
"Its my nickname for you." She said weakly.
