A crystal-colored raindrop
fell upon the translucent window pane,
catching color from nearby neon lights.

Its pearl drop weight cascaded into fractured pieces,
forming baby droplets as it fell beaded down the glass

...like a large dream
broken into tiny pieces
of a bigger whole.

My hopes contained in a silent movement,
doing what nature does.
